Lana tilted her head in confusion; her blue eyes were focused on Lucian as if waiting for him to reveal his trick.
"I am not lying; I have a prescription that can make an awakening stone. But the ingredients listed in it couldn’t be found at all. We are even suspecting that it is a fake..."
Midway through his sentence, Lucian faltered because Lana leaped from his hands and jumped on the table. With excitent in every fiber of her fur, she typed on the laptop.
"Was it bought by diviner Levi Adison?"
Lucian’s eyes narrowed, seeing the words. He was sure that other than Hector and himself, no one knew the use.
No... his uncle might know it, but from the spies that he had planted around Lana, it was clear that Lana wasn’t associated with his uncle.
So the chance of Lana knowing the news from his uncle or his beloved father (whom he suspected didn’t even know what Lucian was doing) was close to zero.
Yet... this girl knew. How?
"Yes." Lucian didn’t intend to hide anything from her.
Lana’s pupils dilated in delight. Previously, she didn’t ntion the prescription because, in her previous life, she never knew when it was sold.
When she was reborn, she had subconsciously thought that it was already bought by Lucian’s uncle, and she could use certain tricks to get the prescriptions from Lucian’s uncle.
Who would have thought that... in this life, due to the butterfly effect, the prescription would end in Lucian’s hand?
Suppressing her excitent, Lana typed furiously on the keyboard, "Prescription isn’t a scam. It’s genuine."
Lucian’s heart trembled when he saw Lana’s ssage.
Previously, even though he had spent a huge sum and placed his expectation on it, his heart was 95% convinced that the prescription was a fake one.
Who would have thought that... Lana would pop out and tell her that it was a genuine one.
If she was saying that it was true, then... the 95% was now reduced to 2%!
She must know sothing.
Sure enough, the next second Lana typed on the laptop.
"The ingredients can’t be found on the existing continent. A new continent will erge in the upcoming years nad..."
Lana paused for a second, her tiny paws hovering over the keyboard as if weighing the implications of revealing too much.
Would she ruin soone’s opportunities? Would she incur so kind of debt?
Her eyes landed on Lucian, and she thought about his future suffering.
’No... I can’t see him suffer. All those who might be affected by my decision, I will compensate them.’ Lana thought in her mind.
At most... so will lose their employnt opportunities.
And... Lana thought about the incident where multiple employees were exploited by Lucian’s uncle and thought.
’Lucian won’t do such a thing.’
She had seen how he treats her employees kindly. So... her decision was right!
When Lana’s decision was made, countless white lights surged toward Lana, because her decision indeed benefited many.
Finally, she typed the na with deliberate clarity:
"Aurellia."
"A new... continent?" Lucian murmured, more to himself than to her.
Lana didn’t wait. Her small feline body almost vibrated with urgency as she typed again, claws lightly tapping the keys.
"All the ingredients would be present there. However, the awakening stones won’t be flawless. It only works on 50% of the population."
Lana paused after typing those words. For a flicker of a mont, she rembered how Lucian had gotten 10 awakening stones just for her... and yet she didn’t awaken a single power.
$100 million. The 10 awakening stones were worth $100 million, yet... she wasted all of them.
The pain that followed made Lana feel disheartened and loathe herself. But eventually, with Lucian’s subtle encouragent, she forgot about the physical powers.
She learned to use her brain more.
And honestly... that was the best decision. Lucian taught her to survive and escape many dangers.
"So you are saying that the chances of awakening power with awakening stones are only 50%?" Lucian asked uncertainly; on a closer look, his hands were trembling.
Lana could understand his excitent. In a world where power matters, many soul cultivators and non-cultivators wish to awaken a power.
At this ti, awakening stones beco their hope, and a business works best if it is based on hope.
"No. It works for 50% of the population. Those who have potential could easily awaken a power, and those who don’t can’t awaken even a single one. The prescription isn’t a flawless one. You can modify it or research it later on."
"When will this Aurellia appear? Do you know the coordinates?" Lucian asked, and Lana’s eyes shone with a brilliant idea.
A money-making opportunity has arrived!
"Yes. But here is the thing. Don’t rush to disclose it to the world; instead..." Lana typed out the plan and presented it to Lucian, who narrowed his eyes before a small chuckle escaped his lips.
"So smart? If the plan succeeds, then I will give you 50% royalties of the awakening stones and 50% of the assets obtained from Aurellia." Lucian announced, but this ti Lana shook her head with a serious expression.
Lucian corrected himself, "Do you want to make a deal where you can touch anywhere, hm?"
Lana’s eyes showed a rare trace of struggle, and she gritted her teeth, shaking her head and typing on the laptop.
"Just give 50% of the assets you will obtain as a 50% royalty of the awakening stone... I will give you the list of exact location, appearance, and sll of the ingredients... just make sure that it’s cheap enough that a person could easily buy it once in their lifeti."
Lucian stared at the words slowly appearing on the laptop screen. His pupils contracted almost imperceptibly.
"Cheap enough... that a person could buy one once in their lifeti?" he repeated softly.
Lana’s little body stiffened when she sensed his silence. Her tail curled anxiously around her paws, and she typed again, slower this ti.
"I don’t want this to beco a luxury item commoners can never afford. Awakening stones should give everyone a chance."
