Lana didn’t hesitate. "Alright. Hey you will be kicked out..."

That single word was enough. Garrison’s restraint snapped.

"How dare you...!" He pointed at her, his composure completely gone now, his expression twisted with anger. "Do you feel no guilt for what you did in the past?"

Lana raised a brow slightly, her expression shifting into one of faint curiosity. "What did I do?"

Her calm, almost innocent tone only made things worse.

Garrison’s eyes burned with fury.

"You really have no sha, do you? In your past life, you sold my company’s confidential files, and now you’re pretending you know nothing?"

Lana let out a quiet chuckle, tilting her head. "Past life? Confidential files? What are you even talking about?"

Garrison’s lips curved into a cold smile. ’So she’s pretending...’

Did she really think he wouldn’t notice?

The way she carried herself... the way she invested with such confidence... everything pointed to one thing.

She had been reborn.

In his previous life, Lana had never left the Almond family. She had never even considered investing in Hedge City. And now?

Now she acted like soone who already knew the future. "You can fool others... but not ."

But what he didn’t realize... Was that his words were only deepening the resentnt in Lana’s heart.

In her past life, there had indeed been a leak.

Confidential files from Garrison’s company had been exposed, causing chaos. He had searched frantically, turning the entire company upside down, but never found the mole.

Desperate, he extended his investigation to the family. And then... The result ca. It pointed to her. Lana.

She could still rember that mont vividly.

Her own face appears in the footage, taking files, sending them to soone unseen. And then... The final blow.

An extra five million dollars appeared in her account.

Every piece of evidence scread the sa conclusion. ’She was the culprit.’

’But I wasn’t...’

She had tried.

God, she had tried so hard to prove her innocence. She searched for evidence, followed every possible lead, endured countless sleepless nights, but no matter what she did...

There was nothing. No proof. No way out.

In the end, she had been forced to give up, swallowing that injustice until it beca a scar carved deep into her soul.

But this ti...

Things were different.

Lana looked at Garrison, a faint smile forming on her lips, calm, composed, almost knowing.

"If I were truly reborn," she said slowly, her voice steady, "then logically speaking... your confidential files should have been leaked again by now, shouldn’t they?"

Garrison let out a cold chuckle. "I’ve already changed where the files are kept."

Lana nodded lightly. "How unfortunate..."

Her gaze sharpened just a fraction. "They would still be leaked."

A flicker of sothing crossed Garrison’s eyes.

"Did you leak them again?" he shot back, his voice low and accusing.

Lana shook her head, her expression unwavering. "I wasn’t the one who stole them in the first place."

She paused, letting the silence stretch just enough.

"If you had investigated a little more carefully... you would’ve realized sothing."

Her eyes t his directly.

"The person who handed you that video... was the real culprit."

Back then, she didn’t know the truth.

It was only after she had co to Lucian’s side that everything slowly began to unravel.

Garrison did have a mole. But it wasn’t her. It was the very assistant responsible for the investigation.

The one who knew exactly how to manipulate the outco.

The one who saw Lana as the easiest target, a girl with a damaged reputation, soone no one would defend.

So without hesitation... He pushed all the bla onto her.

And now... In this life, things had changed. Lana had already stepped away.

Which ant... That assistant would have to find soone else.

With that thought, she looked at Garrison. He was staring at her.

Not with anger this ti... But with pure astonishnt.

Lana let out a soft chuckle, the sound light yet laced with certainty. "If I’m not wrong... that assistant should already be stealing the files by now."

Her tone carried an unsettling confidence. It wasn’t a guess. It was mory.

’This date... I rember it clearly.’

The day she had been wronged. The day everything had fallen apart in her past life. The coincidence was almost cruel, like fate had deliberately placed her at the sa turning point once again.

Garrison shook his head imdiately, his expression darkening. "You’re lying."

Lana didn’t argue. Instead, she tilted her head slightly, her gaze calm and unwavering. "Then go and investigate it yourself."

Her indifference only made it worse.

Without sparing him another glance, she shifted her eyes toward one of Hunter’s subordinates standing nearby. It was just a brief look, but it was enough.

The man instantly understood.

Without hesitation, he stepped forward and forcefully pushed Garrison back, his grip firm as he began escorting him out.

Garrison struggled, fury exploding across his face. "Do you even know who I am?! I have money! I want to invest! You’re making a huge mistake!"

His voice echoed loudly, filled with arrogance and anger, but...

No one cared.

The people around rely watched, their expressions indifferent... so even carrying faint traces of disdain. After witnessing the way he had treated Lana, they had already ford their judgnt.

’If she hadn’t handled it herself... we would’ve stepped in long ago.’

To them, Garrison was nothing more than noise now.

His protests faded as he was dragged further away, his figure gradually disappearing from sight.

Only when he was completely gone did Lana release a slow breath. The tension in her shoulders eased slightly.

The air felt lighter. ’Finally... so peace.’

But her mind didn’t rest.

Almost imdiately, her thoughts shifted, sharp and focused. She began planning, mapping out the city in her head, visualizing structures, positioning, and influence.

Her gaze swept across the surroundings, calculating.

’Monica’s police station... I’ll establish it here too.’

She wasn’t just investing. She was building control. Influence.

A network that would stretch far beyond a single city.
