Aiden leaned back slightly, smirking.

"Actually, talismans are usually much more expensive than this," he said casually. "If anything, this seems cheap."

He shrugged. "But yeah... this is probably a scam site anyway. I just want to test it."

The chat went wild.

"Cheap?! That’s 100k!"

"Are you serious?!"

Aiden chuckled, waving his hand dismissively.

"It’s nothing. Just pocket change."

On the surface, he looked completely relaxed. But inside...

’My heart is bleeding...’

He was taking a risk. He was betting that his viewers would support him like they always did.

And soon enough, they did.

Donations started pouring in. Small gifts at first, then larger ones. So viewers even sent him high-value cars worth nearly $50,000 each.

When he received ten of them, his eyes lit up for a brief mont.

’Recovered...’

He had already covered his loss.

But outwardly, he maintained his persona, acting as if it were nothing.

"Alright," he said with a grin, holding up the purchase confirmation. "I’ll review this exorcism talisman tonight."

He leaned closer to the cara.

"I’m planning to go to a cetery and test it there... so stay tuned."

Excitent surged in the chat.

But just as he was about to end the stream, a ssage appeared.

"Wait. I checked that cetery... it’s dangerous."

Another followed.

"You shouldn’t go there. Seriously."

Aiden paused, his fingers hovering over the keyboard, his smile faltering slightly as a faint unease crept into his chest.

’Dangerous...?’

Aiden let out a low chuckle and said, "You all don’t need to worry; I’ve already planned everything."

He lifted his chin slightly, as if reassuring not only them but himself as well, and continued, "With this sacred talisman, my life will be safe. It’s not so ordinary thing; it’s perfect."

Hearing his own words, Aiden chuckled inwardly, his lips barely twitching.

’Perfect? What a joke...’

The truth was he dared to go there not because of that cheap talisman he had bought, but because of soone far more reliable.

That person was Tyler.

Tyler was one of the wealthy elites. He has a protective charm, and more importantly, he will bring along a celestial master and a priest.

With figures like them present, who would even dare to attack?

’If anything goes wrong, they’ll handle it... I just need to stay close,’ Aiden thought, masking his dependence beneath a calm exterior.

On the surface, however, he looked composed as he said,

"If today happens to be my death, then so be it. If it’s destined, I won’t be able to dodge it anyway."

His voice carried a strange mix of bravery and resignation.

With that, he chuckled again, though this ti it was forced, and he turned off the livestream.

Without wasting another mont, he hurried toward a small worship space he had set up for God Nytheris.

He knelt down slowly, his knees brushing against the cold floor, and bowed his head deeply.

"I said all those words out of foolishness," he murmured under his breath, his voice softer now, almost pleading. "Please look after if I run into any trouble tonight."

The room fell into complete silence. No response ca.

After a while, Aiden exhaled slowly and stood up, brushing off his knees as he began to pack his things.

"As expected... nothing," he thought, though he didn’t let disappointnt show on his face.

He didn’t have much faith in the talisman he had bought from that suspicious website either, yet to his surprise, it had actually arrived by evening.

Since he had marked the delivery as urgent, it had reached him just before sunset.

Once he finished preparing, he headed out and soon t up with the group he would be traveling with.

One of them was York, a livestrear just like him, but far more popular.

Because of that, Aiden forced a polite smile and greeted him warmly, hiding any trace of envy. ’Better stay on his good side... There might be benefits,’ he thought.

The second person was Tyler.

Tyler was a rich heir, dressed elegantly even for such a grim outing.

His expression remained cool and distant, as though the world itself bored him.

Standing beside him was a priest clad in a dark robe, a cross clutched firmly in his hand. His face was stern, almost grim, as if he could already sense sothing lurking in the shadows.

As Aiden looked at them, he couldn’t help but marvel inwardly.

’The backing of the rich is truly on another level... ’This is nothing like people like ,’ he thought. Still, he stepped forward slightly and nodded at Tyler with a hint of flattery in his voice.

"Master Tyler, it’s an honor to be joining you."

Tyler rely gave him a brief, indifferent glance before looking away, his silence colder than any insult.

They were still waiting for the last person. A woman nad Emily.

When Emily finally arrived, all three n instinctively turned their gazes toward her.

Her blonde hair shimred under the dim light, and her striking blue eyes seed almost unreal.

The bodycon dress she wore hugged her figure elegantly, making her stand out even in such a bleak place.

Aiden felt his breath hitch slightly. ’She’s... incredible,’ he thought.

Unable to hold himself back, he stepped closer with a practiced smile and said, "Hey Emily, how have you been?"

Emily glanced at him coldly, her eyes sharp and distant, and replied, "Do I know you?"

Her voice was calm, yet it carried an unmistakable chill.

Hearing that, Tyler shuddered faintly, while York burst into laughter, clearly amused by Aiden’s boldness.

"Did you really just try that?" York said between laughs.

Aiden’s smile stiffened as he lowered his gaze slightly. ’That... didn’t go as planned,’ he admitted inwardly.

anwhile, Tyler turned toward York and said, "We can start the livestream now."

York nodded, and Aiden followed suit. Soon, both Aiden and York activated their streams, pointing their caras toward the cetery ahead.

The cetery lood before them, its crooked tombstones casting long, eerie shadows under the dim light.
