With a swift flick of her wrist, she sent it flying into the air.

The talisman shot forward like a streak of light.

The mont it struck the ghost, a piercing shriek tore through the space.

The ghost recoiled violently, panic flashing across its distorted face.

At the sa ti, the surrounding lesser ghosts froze.

Most of them were barely a few decades old, so perhaps just over a hundred years. Compared to the entity before them, they were insignificant.

But they could feel it.

Lana’s aura.

It was overwhelming, suffocating, and terrifying.

Fear spread through them instantly.

One by one, they began to retreat, their forms flickering as they tried to escape.

But Lana’s gaze hardened.

"Running away?" she muttered under her breath.

She pulled out several more talismans, her movents swift and precise, and began to wave them in controlled arcs.

The fleeing ghosts had no chance.

anwhile, the four victims collapsed back onto the ground, their bodies still twitching faintly as the possession loosened its grip.

Lana stepped closer, rubbing her forehead briefly as exhaustion flickered across her face.

Then she raised her hand.

A soft, warm light began to gather in her palm.

In the next mont, gentle healing rays flowed outward, seeping into the bodies of the four victims.

During all of this, the live stream viewers saw nothing.

The cara had long since fallen, its lens facing the ground.

But they could hear it.

The battle had stopped.

The silence that followed was deafening.

And in that silence, a single thought echoed through everyone’s mind...

’It’s over... they’re all dead.’

At the exorcism association, panic erupted the mont they beca aware of the situation.

Four lives were at stake.

Human lives.

"How could this happen?"

"Why were they even approved for this trip?"

"This will destroy our reputation!"

The room buzzed with fear and urgency.

Without wasting another second, they mobilized, rushing toward the location.

Yet even as they hurried, a grim truth lingered in their minds.

They were too late.

At the center of the group stood Natalia, the head of the exorcism talisman association. Her expression was cold, calculating.

"When we arrive," she said, her voice steady but devoid of warmth, "we will need soone to take responsibility."

Her words hung heavily in the air.

The others exchanged uneasy glances.

After a mont of silence, a young man slowly raised his hand.

"My na is Fin," he said, his voice hesitant. "I... I just joined recently. I don’t think I can take on sothing like this."

The room fell silent again.

The looks directed at him were far from kind.

His friend, who stood nearby, clenched his fists but ultimately lowered his gaze.

’If he takes the bla... he might at least get compensated...’ The thought lingered, heavy with guilt.

Back at the scene, Lana watched over the four injured individuals.

She let out a quiet breath of relief as their conditions began to stabilize.

Tyler was the first to regain consciousness.

His eyes fluttered open, unfocused at first, before landing on Lana.

For a brief second, fear surged through him. He instinctively tried to crawl backward, his body still weak and trembling.

But then he noticed it...the soft glow emanating from her hand.

The healing.

The realization struck Tyler almost instantly. ’She... she ca to save us.’

Relief flooded his chest so suddenly that it almost made his knees give out.

Without thinking, he rushed toward Lana, his steps unsteady, his breathing ragged as if he had just escaped death itself.

But before he could get close... Lana raised her hand sharply.

"Don’t touch ."

Her voice was firm, leaving no room for argunt.

Tyler froze mid-step.

At that mont, his entire body was trembling uncontrollably, his nerves still shattered from the terror he had just endured.

More than anything, he wanted to run forward, cling to her, and beg her to take him away from this nightmare.

’I just want to get out... please, just get out of here...’

But he stopped himself.

A bitter understanding settled in his mind. ’If I cross the line... she might just leave here.’

Swallowing the urge, he let out a shaky sigh and remained where he stood, his eyes darting around nervously.

"W-Where are the ghosts?" he asked, his voice cracking slightly.

Lana let out a small chuckle, her expression calm, almost indifferent.

"They’ve already been exorcised," she replied. "All of them."

Tyler’s eyes widened in disbelief.

"Y-You’re serious?" he stamred, staring at her as if trying to confirm whether she was joking.

Lana tilted her head slightly, a faint smirk forming on her lips.

"If you think I’m lying," she said casually, "why not explore?"

Hearing that, Tyler fell silent.

Slowly, hesitantly, he turned his head and scanned the surroundings.

For the first ti since they had arrived, the cetery felt... empty.

The next mont, Aiden stirred.

His eyelids fluttered open, his vision still blurry as consciousness returned.

When his gaze landed on Lana, his first reaction was oddly soft, almost dazed, as if he were looking at sothing unreal.

But then... reality hit him.

His expression changed instantly, panic flashing across his face as he tried to back away. However, before he could move far, his eyes caught Tyler.

Tyler... wasn’t panicking.

Instead, he was staring at Lana with a strange sense of calm, almost peaceful.

Aiden froze.

He gestured subtly toward Lana, his eyes asking the question he couldn’t yet voice.

Tyler understood imdiately.

"She saved us," he said quietly. "All of us."

Aiden blinked, stunned.

"Th-The ghosts...?" he muttered.

"Gone," Tyler replied.

Aiden’s gaze snapped back to the surroundings.

A long, shaky breath escaped his lips as relief finally settled in.

Soon after, York and Emily also regained consciousness.

The mont they understood what had happened, gratitude flooded their expressions.

"Th-Thank you... Thank you so much," York said, his voice still weak but sincere.

Emily nodded rapidly, her eyes slightly red, as if she were on the verge of tears.

After a mont, York hesitated before asking, a hint of anticipation creeping into his tone, "Are you... Lana?"

Lana gave a small nod. "Yes."
