That was when the importance of Dream Wardens appeared.
The primary task of Dream Wardens is to enter the victim’s dream and chase away or exorcise the ghost (which depends on the Dream Warden’s power).
However, it ca as a surprise to Lana that Brenda had a Dream Warden superpower, after the Almond family mainly possessed spiritual power.
The energy that circulates throughout the world, or the qi in her world, was Aether. Each profession modifies the Aether in the air and uses it for its cultivation.
Those who can cultivate spiritual powers inhale Aether and modify it into spiritual power.
While so professions like Dream Warden, Taoist, Shaman, Priest, Celestial Master, etc. directly consu Aether.
Taoist, Shaman, Priest, Pope, Celestial Master, etc., mainly exorcise the souls. However, they were powerless against the invincible ghost.
Even Talisman practitioners cultivate using Aether. However, they are very rare and hard to find. Only 1 in 1 million can draw talismans.

Spiritualists, or spiritual power awakeners, can deal with ghosts possessing 100 years of cultivation.
Exoray, aka the superhumans, can deal with ghosts possessing 250 years of cultivation.
Priests, Taoists, Celestial Masters, and Shamans can deal with ghosts possessing 500 years of cultivation.
A Talisman Practitioner can deal with ghosts possessing 1500 years of cultivation.
Mystic cultivators and Summoners can deal with ghosts possessing 2000 years of cultivation.

There was also a Soul cultivator who could absorb Aether. However, they couldn’t fight ghosts at all. They do build resistance against possession, but that was the extent.
Rare individuals don’t awaken either of the powers, and Lana happened to be that anomaly.
The only silver lining in her life was her talent for making ghost-hunting equipnt.
Lana soon arrived at a relatively famous weapon-making company nad XWeapons. In her previous life, XWeapons was the only company that never used any underhanded thods.
With a calm expression, Lana checked herself in the nearby glass door and almost cursed.
She was wearing a pink puff-sleeve A-line midi dress. And though her pale skin prevented her from looking tacky and gave her the vibe of a naive young lady out for a casual stroll, Lana felt despair.
Just then, her eyes landed on the reflection of the black crow sitting on the electricity pole. Lana didn’t know if it was her imagination or reality, but she felt the black crow looking at her intently.
’It isn’t thinking about...’ A mysterious expression appeared on her face as she continued, ’...pooping on , right?’
Crow: Σ(⁰ . ⁰ ꪱꪱꪱ)!?!?...
The next mont, the crow lost its footing and crashed down.
Lana heaved a sigh of relief and entered the company.
Bright lighting illuminated the decorations while adding a touch of maturity to the cold reception area.
A set of sofas was arranged in a half-rectangle shape, with a table between, and there were also a few grey chairs far away from the sofa area.
Opposite the sofas and chairs, there was a reception desk, where two receptionists dressed in white blazer suits and a classic bun were sitting and handling so work.
One of them had sun-kissed skin, while the other had snow-like skin.
After reaching the reception, Lana inquired,
"Hello, beautiful ladies, I am Lana. I want to book an appointnt with CEO Nixon. I have a blueprint that he might be interested in."
The woman with delicate features and golden tan skin looked at Lana with a friendly smile and asked,
"Can you please show the blueprint?"
"Sure, can you hand a pen and paper?" Lana rembered how she still hadn’t drawn the blueprint on the paper.
"No." The woman with pale skin frowned and said sternly, "Young lady, maybe you are interested in our CEO. If you were genuinely a weapon maker, how co you don’t even have a blueprint? Or were you planning to invent one now?"
Lana noticed the faint flicker of irritation and understood the woman’s frustration.
Many of the won wanting to seduce CEO Nixon might have used this excuse, which eventually made the fair-skinned woman lose her patience.
But...
"Before judging , at least give a chance." Lana flashed a smile. "Don’t judge a cover by its book!"
Receptionist: ( ˶°ㅁ°) !!
