"I’ll get it for you imdiately," he said seriously. "Is it a talisman? Equipnt? Anything you want, I’ll buy it."
Hearing his anxious tone, Gwen suddenly smiled mischievously.
"It’s not sothing you can give permanently," she replied slowly. "But I’d happily accept it if you lend it to sotis."
Jas suddenly had a terrible feeling.
Sure enough, Gwen smiled brightly and said:
"I’ve started liking your sister quite a lot."
The mont those words left her mouth, Jas’s entire expression turned stone-like.
After a few seconds, he finally spoke stiffly.
"Lana is not an object you can borrow."
Gwen nodded thoughtfully. "You have a point."
Then she suddenly fell into deep thought before clapping her hands lightly.
"How about this instead? Whenever you go visit your sister in the future, you have to bring along too."
The mont she said that, Jas imdiately beca speechless.
anwhile, Gwen looked at him with a playful smile before casually adding:
"What can I do? I think I like her even more than you now."
The satisfied smile on her face resembled a cat that had successfully stolen soone else’s favorite treasure.
"So now you don’t love anymore?" Jas complained dramatically while staring at Gwen in disbelief. "You’re already eyeing my sister instead? You truly are a heartless woman."
He clutched his chest exaggeratedly before continuing in a wounded tone.
"I ca here ready to offer you my heart, and now you’re already interested in soone else."
Gwen imdiately rolled her eyes at his nonsense, though the corners of her lips twitched upward slightly.
"Just for few nights I won’t hog her for long ti."
Jas narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
"You know," he muttered while staring at her carefully, "your expression is saying sothing completely different from your words."
Gwen instinctively touched her face before quickly looking away.
"I don’t know what you’re talking about," she replied calmly.
Unfortunately, the sly smile lingering on her lips completely betrayed her.
Seeing that expression, Jas imdiately shook his head seriously.
"No," he declared firmly. "I absolutely cannot bring you ho unless we have an official relationship."
Gwen crossed her arms lazily.
"Fine then," she replied casually. "I’ll just invite Miss Lana directly myself and separate her from you."
The mont she said those words, Jas instantly beca furious.
He pointed at Gwen dramatically.
"You... you..."
However, he could not continue speaking.
After all, he still rembered clearly that he was the one who had hurt Gwen repeatedly in the first place.
And more importantly... he still rembered Lana’s final words before leaving.
"Be more mature."
The mont that thought surfaced in his mind, Jas instantly deflated.
anwhile, Gwen secretly bit her lips to stop herself from laughing.
Watching this emotionally awkward man struggle so badly sohow felt unexpectedly adorable.
A few seconds later, Jas suddenly walked forward quietly before wrapping his arms around her.
His voice beca much softer than before.
"I’m sorry," he whispered honestly. "I kept hurting you over and over again without realizing it."
The warmth from his embrace caused Gwen’s body to stiffen briefly.
Jas lowered his head slightly against her shoulder before continuing.
"I was truly inconsiderate."
Then he suddenly spoke with complete seriousness.
"In the future, if I start saying stupid nonsense again, just slap imdiately and knock the stupidity out of my head."
The mont he said those words so sincerely, Gwen completely lost control.
She burst into laughter while clutching his shirt.
"You seriously have a ridiculous way with words," she laughed helplessly.
Hearing her laugh again, Jas secretly heaved a huge sigh of relief.
After remaining in each other’s arms quietly for a while, Jas suddenly leaned closer and whispered:
"How about this? Let’s secretly go on a date and leave Lana behind."
Gwen thought for a mont before narrowing her eyes suspiciously.
"Only if we bring back gifts for her afterward."
Jas imdiately nodded seriously.
Thus, the two of them shalessly went on their secret date together.
anwhile, Lana remained inside her own room resting quietly.
The battle from earlier had truly taken an enormous toll on her body.
While she rested peacefully, the reconciled lovebirds spent the day outside together.
Not only did they properly communicate this ti, but they even returned smiling brightly while carrying nurous shopping bags.
By the ti Lana finally exited her room later that evening, she imdiately spotted the two of them walking down the hallway together looking suspiciously happy.
The mont she noticed all the bags in their hands, she dramatically crossed her arms before looking away like an upset child.
"Oh?" she muttered accusingly. "You two went out without ?"
Then she narrowed her eyes toward the bags greedily.
"You should’ve at least brought proper compensation. Otherwise, I might genuinely beco angry."
The way she pretended to sulk while secretly eyeing the shopping bags made her look incredibly childish.
Seeing this, both Jas and Gwen imdiately burst into laughter.
Jas quickly handed several bags toward her.
"We brought plenty for you already," he replied helplessly.
Only then did Lana finally beco satisfied.
The next morning, the three of them prepared to leave the hotel together.
However, the mont they reached the entrance, several furious figures suddenly rushed toward them aggressively.
Two sets of parents had arrived.
The mont Gwen and Jas saw them, their expressions instantly changed.

Without hesitation, she imdiately pulled Gwen behind herself protectively.
At the sa ti, Lana joined her index and middle fingers together before swiftly activating spiritual energy.
A translucent defensive barrier instantly expanded around all three of them.
