Instead of replying, Anthony hung up the call, and Robert stared at the phone with an intense gaze before handing it to Nia and entering the room.
The office’s wooden floor glead under the bright ceiling light. The room was cold, unnaturally so, the kind of chill that seeps into bones and numbs thought.
Nixon was seated in his comfortable chair, his fingers intertwined with each other, while his elbow was resting on the glass table. Few files were organized on his left side, while the cold humming of the air conditioner filled the air.
The mont the door closed, Robert got down on his knees and begged in a trembling voice, "Sir, please help !"
Nixon was about to tell Robert about the shares that Lana had asked him to hand over when he saw Robert kneeling. His eyes widened in astonishnt.
"What happened?"
"Sir, Anthony of this company had used a ghost to make my life hell. Nixon’s eyes narrowed.
He intended to broker an agreent with Robert and sought to inquire about his association with Lana, yet he never anticipated that he would confront challenges far beyond his expectations.
Inhaling a deep breath, he made a quick decision: "Go with his plan; I will co up with a solution. I will hire a psychic, who will communicate with you through telepathy at your ho. Robert’s eyes shimred with tears, but he didn’t dare linger and nodded.
Once Robert left, Nixon was perplexed.

What appeared in Nixon’s view was a pale man with sapphire blue eyes and a towering figure with a well-proportioned body that rivaled his looks.
"Lucian." Nixon greeted with a relaxed smile. "I thought you wouldn’t co since you didn’t reply."
Lucian arched an eyebrow. "Your ssages must have been classified as spam."
"Oh? Then why are you even here?" Nixon chuckled while Lucian acted like he owned the company and sat on the sofa comfortably.
"I had an instinct that I would gain sothing if I t you." Nixon would have taken Lucian’s words as a joke if he hadn’t seen with his own eyes how terrifying Lucian’s instincts were.
"Like?" Nixon probed; if it was a favorable investnt opportunity coming his way, he would like to grab it!
