A dragon’s cry, not loud but filled with majesty, echoed above the city.
The Golden Dragon, Sun, had arrived.
Its enormous body was bathed in sunlight, each scale reflecting a dazzling brilliance, as if a living sculpture forged from pure gold was descending from the heavens.
The crowd erupted in uncontrollable gasps and sharp intakes of breath. Those in the front rows were even forced back several steps by the sheer pressure of its presence.
Sun did not land directly in the center of the square. Instead, it circled gracefully in the air, like a true Knight surveying its domain.
Its golden Dragon Wings, vast enough to blot out the sky, beat slowly, and the gale they created sent the flags in the square snapping loudly.
Finally, with a deafening BOOM, it landed precisely in the large, open space reserved in front of the ceremonial platform.
The ground trembled from the impact, and several fine cracks appeared on the hard Stone Slab pavent.
A deathly silence fell over the square.
Everyone was struck speechless by the oppressive presence so close at hand.
Its mountain-like body, its eyes like molten gold, and the searing air expelled with each breath—all of it proclaid its terror as an apex predator.
This was...
a Giant Dragon.
Personal Guard Captain Ed and Alex stood below the platform, their hands gripping their sword hilts tightly, fine beads of sweat forming on their foreheads.
Even for battle-hardened veterans like them, facing an adult Giant Dragon at such a close distance sent a tremor through the very depths of their souls.
In a corner of the square, several Knights unfurled a massive banner.
On the banner was a brand-new insignia, ticulously embroidered with gold and red thread.
Beneath a burning sun, a sharp sword pointed down at the earth.
On the platform, Raylo walked step by step to the very front, looking down at the Golden Dragon below.
His appearance instantly drew everyone’s gaze, and Sun’s enormous golden eyes focused on him in an instant.
Raylo’s voice rang out from the newly built high platform.
"People of the Black Stone Territory, my subjects!"
"Today, we gather here to witness a historic mont."
"This land beneath our feet has endured war and hardship. We have been coveted by malicious neighbors and plagued by Magical Beasts. To protect our ho, countless valiant Knights have given their lives."
His gaze swept over the crowd in the square before finally resting on the Golden Dragon, Sun.
"And today, we are fortunate to welco a new Guardian. A powerful, noble ally who possesses the heart of a true Knight."
Raylo took a deep breath, his voice suddenly rising in pitch and volu.
"I, Raylo, in the na of the Black Stone Manor Earl, hereby declare!"
He drew the sword from his waist, its blade reflecting a cold light in the sun.
"Golden Dragon, Sun!"
Hearing its na, Sun’s massive body shuddered slightly. It slowly, with imnse solemnity, lowered its proud head until its two spiraling silver horns nearly touched the edge of the platform.
This gesture allowed everyone to see clearly that in this Giant Dragon’s eyes, there was no savagery or violence, only boundless solemnity and anticipation.
Holding his Long Sword, Raylo descended the platform steps and stood firmly before Sun.
One man and one dragon, the minuscule and the imnse, created a breathtaking contrast.
Raylo raised his Long Sword and with its tip, lightly touched, in succession, Sun’s massive forehead, smooth as a mirror, and then its broad, heavy shoulders.
His voice transford into an ancient and sacred oath that resounded through the heavens.
"Do you swear, in the na of a Knight, to protect the land and people of the Black Stone Territory?"
"ROAR! I swear!"
A low, affirmative dragon’s cry echoed, like the reverberation of the oath itself.
"Do you swear, in the na of a Knight, to defend justice and honor, to drive out evil and darkness?"
"ROAR! I swear!"
This ti, the dragon’s cry carried an ironclad determination.
"Do you swear, in the na of a Knight, to pledge your loyalty to the Black Stone Territory, until your last mont?"
"ROAR! I swear."
The third dragon’s cry shot into the sky, transforming into an invisible storm that swept across the entire square!

Raylo retracted his Long Sword, his voice ringing with passion.
"From this mont forth, I dub you Guardian Knight of the Black Stone Territory, and the first commander of the Sun Knight Order!"
"Knight Sun!"
The mont his voice fell, Golden Dragon Sun abruptly raised its head, opened its great maw, and unleashed a jet of intensely concentrated golden Dragon Breath that shot straight into the sky!
The golden pillar of light exploded among the clouds, transforming into a magnificent shower of golden light that drifted down everywhere.
As the rain of light fell upon the people, it brought waves of warmth and comfort, as if banishing all fatigue and sickness.
"Long live!"
It is unknown who shouted it first, but in the next instant, the entire square erupted!
"Long live Lord Raylo!"
"Long live the Sun Knight!"
Cheers, shouts, and whistles rged into a massive wave of sound that threatened to overturn the very clouds in the sky.
The people waved their arms wildly, celebrating the birth of this one-of-a-kind Giant Dragon Knight.
Amidst the tsunami of cheers, Raylo looked up and t Sun’s golden eyes, which shone as brightly as stars.
He saw, in the depths of those enormous eyes, a single, scalding-hot tear, like molten gold, slowly slide down.
Just then, the sound of perfectly synchronized, resounding footsteps pierced through the clamor of the crowd, reaching everyone’s ears with stark clarity.
"CLOMP! CLOMP! CLOMP!"
The crowd parted as if separated by an invisible hand, instinctively clearing a path.
A brand-new contingent of knights was approaching from the other end of the square.
At the head of the formation, a huge banner billowed in the wind.
Beneath a burning sun, a sharp sword pointed down at the earth.
It was the insignia of the Sun Knight Order.
Leading the way were twenty fully-ard Official Knights. They wore new Silver Full Body Armor, their breastplates emblazoned with the very sa insignia from the banner.
Their steps were steady, their faces solemn, their gazes resolute.
Behind them were a hundred high-spirited Knight’s Attendants, wearing the sa attire and bearing the sa insignia, forming a torrent of silver.
The contingent marched straight to the foot of the platform, stopping less than fifty ters from Golden Dragon Sun.
The leading Knight stepped forward, knelt on one knee, and placed his right hand over his chest. The movents were crisp and clean, without a hint of hesitation.
"CLANK!"
The one hundred and nineteen people behind him dropped to one knee in perfect unison, the sound of their steel armor colliding rging into a single, soul-shaking crash.
"The Sun Knight Order, reporting to the commander!"
The lead Knight’s voice was loud, clear, and full of Power.
The joy and excitent of its dubbing not yet faded, Golden Dragon Sun turned its massive head slightly, its pale golden eyes gazing upon the Knight Order that now belonged to it.
"ROAR!"
A dragon’s cry, completely different from before, thundered through the sky.
If the previous cries were oaths and declarations, then this one was the acknowledgnt of a king, the command of a general!
The cry carried an unparalleled majesty, becoming a tangible sound wave that washed over the body of every Knight.
The Knights’ bodies trembled slightly. But instead of fear, they felt a surge of hot blood rush from their chests to their heads.
They raised their heads, their gazes fanatical as they looked up at their commander—the legendary Golden Dragon.
