For a belligerent and restless Giant like Kado, sitting still for two days was an ordeal.

A Giant’s nature was to take the initiative and attack, not to sit around and wait for their prey to co to them.

"Go on. Stay nearby, don’t go too far, and keep it quiet. We don’t want to startle our target."

"Don’t worry!"

Kado was overjoyed. He strode eagerly into the depths of the dense forest.

Raylo shook his head and paid him no more mind.

His gaze shifted to the other side of the camp.

The young Giant, Gordo, was sitting cross-legged on the edge of the hill, as still as a stone sculpture.

Unlike the restless Kado, he was using this rare downti to imrse himself in his own world.

Raylo’s eyes fell upon Gordo.

He could clearly perceive an extrely subtle distortion of space around Gordo.

A heavy, condensed Power radiated from him, spreading in all directions.

On the ground before him, several head-sized rocks were trembling slightly, as if an invisible force was trying to lift them but lacked the strength. It could only make them bob up and down in place before they fell back to the ground with a PLOP, kicking up a small cloud of dust.

Gordo seed frustrated. He furrowed his brow and tried again.

This ti, he placed his hands on the ground, closed his eyes, and focused with intense concentration.

Raylo saw the earth beneath Gordo begin to squirm slightly, as if it had beco a soft fluid.

A small mound of dirt slowly rose, attempting to coalesce into a shape, but it only held for a few seconds before it crumbled apart, collapsing back into the flat ground.

This happened several tis in a row.

Raylo watched with great interest.

He had seen it early on: Gordo must have just recently advanced to Tier Five Domain Level.

His Domain Power was still highly unstable, like an untad beast. Gordo clearly hadn’t yet found a way to master it and was still fumbling his way through a phase of exploration.

What was interesting was Gordo’s Domain.

The talents of the Hill Giant Race mostly manifested on a purely physical level.

Their Domains were also typically simple and direct enhancents like Power, Frenzy, Defense, Tenacity, or Godspeed.

Kado was a typical example. Although his Gravity Domain was profound, it was, in essence, an ultimate application of Power.

But Gordo’s Domain was completely different.

The nature of that Power didn’t act upon himself, but on the "earth and stone" of the outside world.

’This isn’t a talent a Giant should have. It’s more akin to the Earth Elent Magic of human Mages.’

’A talent similar to an Elental Mage appearing among Giants... now that’s a rarity.’

Raylo quickly identified the root of Gordo’s problem.

Gordo possessed a powerful talent but was using the wrong thod.

He was still using a Giant’s mindset, relying purely on brute force and willpower to forcibly drive this Power, trying to make the earth obey his most direct commands like it was one of his own arms.

But this Magic-like Power required not just willpower, but also technique and resonance.

It needed to be guided, to be communicated with. One had to understand its inner principles.

Trying to force it would only yield half the results for twice the effort, and he might even suffer a backlash.

It was like a man born with imnse strength trying to learn how to thread a needle, but still using the force he would to crack a walnut. The result was predictable.

Raylo stroked his chin, a thoughtful look in his eyes.

’This young Giant nad Gordo is like an unpolished gem. He has imnse potential, but he’s missing a craftsman to show him the way.’

Just then, a loud commotion ca from the forest. Kado erged, carrying a massive Tier Four Saber-toothed Giant Tiger on his shoulder, his face beaming with the satisfaction of a successful hunt.

Gordo was also startled by the noise and ca out of his practice, a trace of frustration over his lack of a breakthrough on his face.

"Look what I brought back!"

Kado threw the giant tiger, which weighed at least five or six tons, onto the ground with a trendous THUD.

"We’re eating well tonight!"

Seeing the prey, Gordo also broke into a simple, honest smile and got up to prepare it.

Ti slipped by in quiet anticipation.

The next four days were a long and tedious wait.

The wind on the highlands never ceased, whipping against the tents with a constant, snapping sound.

Kado’s patience had worn thin. He paced back and forth at the edge of the camp every day, muttering about whether the Wind God Winged Dragon had gotten lost or just died in so ravine.

Finally, at dawn on the fifth day, as the first ray of sunlight pierced the clouds and gilded the rolling mountains, a barely perceptible black dot appeared on the distant horizon.

The black dot expanded at an astonishing speed, its silhouette growing clearer.

It was a pair of wings that, when unfurled, spanned a full hundred ters. Each flap seed capable of stirring up a storm.

Its enormous body cast a huge shadow among the clouds, like a moving mountain, as it slowly bore down on the highland where they were located.

The Wind God Winged Dragon!

"It’s here!"

Kado let out an excited roar. His muscles bulged, and his whole body beca like a fully drawn Giant Crossbow.

On pure instinct, he whipped a Refined Iron Javelin from his back. With a flick of his wrist, he pointed the spearhead at the sky, ready to throw it with all his might.

"Don’t move."

Raylo stopped him.

Kado froze, the veins on his arm still bulging, clearly struggling to suppress his urge to fight.

He turned his head.

"Carlo? It’s right up there!"

"I know."

Raylo stood up and patted the dust off his clothes.

"Stick to the plan."

His gaze shifted to Gordo.

"Do you rember what I told you?"

Gordo nodded vigorously.

Raylo knew very well that with Kado and Gordo’s Power, defeating this Wind God Winged Dragon in a frontal assault wouldn’t be difficult.

The difficult part was preventing this sky lord, renowned for its speed, from escaping.

Once it realized it had fallen into a trap and took flight, soaring into the clouds, catching it would beco incredibly difficult.

Never mind Kado and Gordo, two Giants who couldn’t fly—even the Golden Dragon Sun couldn’t catch a Wind God Winged Dragon fleeing for its life.

Therefore, the key to this hunt was not the fight itself, but ensuring the Wind God Winged Dragon could not escape.

The shadow in the sky grew larger. The Wind God Winged Dragon had obviously spotted the few "little dots" on the highland.

"Now. Go."

Seeing the Wind God Winged Dragon was now only about three hundred ters overhead, Raylo gave the order.

"Watch this!"

Kado grinned, jamd the javelin in his hand into the ground, and instead hoisted a boulder the size of a water vat.

He put all his strength into his arms, his back arching like a taut giant bow. With a deafening roar, the boulder turned into a black cannonball, whistling as it shot toward the sky.

The boulder was incredibly fast, but it still failed to touch a single feather on the Wind God Winged Dragon.

The latter simply banked lightly to the side and dodged it with ease.

But in the eyes of the Wind God Winged Dragon, this was a blatant provocation.

The Wind God Winged Dragon was enraged.

Its sharp eyes locked onto the audacious Giant on the ground. Folding its wings, its body beca like a sharp sword as it dove with a shriek that tore through the air!

Closer and closer!

Fifty ters, thirty ters, ten ters!

A fierce wind blasted them, making it almost impossible to keep their eyes open.

The instant the Wind God Winged Dragon’s talons, sharp enough to tear steel, were about to touch the top of Kado’s head, Kado stomped his feet hard. Instead of retreating, he advanced, a savage grin flashing in his eyes.

"Get down here!"

"Gravity Domain!"

The invisible Domain Power descended with a boom.

The space within a hundred-ter radius centered on Kado abruptly sank.

In an instant, the air seed to thicken into viscous mortar, and the ground beca like a quagmire.

The Wind God Winged Dragon, which was in a high-speed dive, was struck as if by lightning. Its elegant and swift posture vanished without a trace.

It felt an irresistible, terrifying force grip its body, pulling it relentlessly toward the ground.

Its once-light wings beca as heavy as lead, each flap an imnse struggle.

Like a bird that had flown headfirst into a spider’s web, it plumted straight down from the sky.
