The celebratory atmosphere vanished, replaced by the tension of drawn swords.

Philip strode to the center of the hall, a confident smile on his face.

He drew the long sword at his waist. The blade was magnificent, inlaid with a potent ruby that glittered under the light.

"Prince Raylo. Please."

He took a standard opening stance as Fighting Spirit rose around him, forming a pale red, fiery aura.

Raylo walked slowly to the center of the hall, empty-handed.

He didn’t draw a sword or even summon a weapon. He just stood there casually, raising his right hand, palm facing Philip.

"Let’s begin,"

he said nonchalantly.

His dismissive attitude thoroughly enraged Philip.

He felt humiliated like never before.

"Arrogant!"

Philip roared in fury and stomped hard, the floorboards letting out a dull thud.

He shot forward like an arrow loosed from its string, wreathed in scorching Fighting Spirit. In an instant, he crossed the ten-ter distance, his long sword transforming into a sharp line of fire aid straight at Raylo’s chest.

The strike was fast, precise, and ruthless, concentrating all the power he possessed as a peak Earth Knight.

Faced with this thunderous blow, Raylo’s expression didn’t change in the slightest.

The instant the tip of the sword was about to graze his formal coat, he moved.

He didn’t dodge. He didn’t parry.

He simply threw a punch with his raised right hand.

The muscles in his right arm bulged slightly as a power far more dense and violent than Philip’s Fighting Spirit erupted from his body.

Raylo activated the power of his Gloves, the Giant’s Grip.

To avoid a fatality in the great hall, he had deliberately limited his power to about thirty percent.

BOOM!

A sound so deep and muffled it was as if the very air had been compressed and then detonated, echoing throughout the hall!

Raylo’s fist collided with Philip’s long sword.

There was no crisp clang of tal on tal, no brilliant flash of colliding Fighting Spirit.

Before everyone’s horrified eyes, the priceless Magic Longsword began to shatter, starting from its tip. Inch by inch, it disintegrated into countless tal fragnts that flew in every direction.

Then, a visible white shockwave exploded outward from Raylo’s fist!

The confidence and arrogance on Prince Philip’s face froze, replaced by utter terror and disbelief.

He felt as if he hadn’t been struck by a fist, but by an erupting volcano, or a charging ancient Giant Beast.

Unstoppable. Irresistible.

The terrifying power effortlessly tore through his protective Fighting Spirit and surged into his body.

PFFT!

Philip let out a wretched scream. Like a broken ragdoll, he was sent flying backward several tis faster than he had charged.

He flew in a pathetic arc across tens of ters. With a loud BANG, he slamd hard against the wall at the far end of the hall, then slid to the floor like a sack of wet cent, his condition unknown.

The entire hall fell deathly silent.

The musicians forgot to play. Serving maids dropped their trays, but no one paid any mind.

Everyone’s eyes were wide, their mouths agape, as they stared dumbfounded at the center of the hall.

On one side stood Raylo, slowly retracting his fist. Not even the hem of his formal coat was out of place.

On the other side was the unconscious Prince Philip crumpled in a corner, likely with many broken bones, amid the scattered fragnts of his Treasure Sword.

One punch.

Just one punch.

A genius Knight, a peak Earth Knight, defeated just like that.

Defeated so cleanly, so utterly.

The smile on Blazing Fla King Otto III’s face had long since frozen. He stared at his unconscious son, his eyes filled with horror and rage.

The Thunder Dragon Duke’s hand, holding his wine glass, had frozen in mid-air.

Raylo slowly retracted his fist, then turned. Amid the hall’s deathly silence, he walked back to his seat, one step at a ti.

He sat back down and picked up his half-finished glass of wine. He raised it in a distant toast toward the Duke in the seat of honor and the ashen-faced Blazing Fla King, then drained the glass in a single gulp.

The entire Giant Dragon Hall remained utterly silent.
