The First n, equipped with bronze weapons, fought against the children of the forest, endowed with magic, resulting in a bloody victory for humans, whereas both sides signed a covenant to agree on a ceasefire.
The First n acquired control of the plains, grasslands, and mountains, promising to stop cutting down weirwoods, while the children of the forest got control of the woods.
The First n gradually integrated into the Old Gods’ belief system.
Several thousand years later, the suddenly arrived Long Night disrupted the original prosperity of this world.
A Long Night ‘climate’ persisted for a whole generation, plunging the entire Westeros continent into a severe winter, with the appearance of ‘White Walkers,’ undead creatures like enhanced zombies, invading Westeros from the northernmost Land of Eternal Winter.
