"Is it really that easy to talk...?"
Grimmjow looked at Lan i, who was full of smiles and had completely restrained her cold aura, and he felt a bit like he had nowhere to exert his strength.
This person is really strange. He knew his own attitude wasn’t great, but the other party seed very easy to talk to.
Clearly, she didn’t look like a weakling either.
The two guys from the Magic Country were practically baring their fangs, yet they were both suppressed by her.
It seed that she really wanted to form an alliance and also wanted to et the boss.
Grimmjow sized up her figure, stared at her upper body for a mont, then nodded.
"If it’s you, I think we can give it a try and take you back, if you dare."
"Since you want to form an alliance, there’s nothing we wouldn’t dare. We’re all like-minded individuals working together against the Burning Legion. I trust you."
Lan i said decisively.
She didn’t mind Grimmjow’s scrutinizing gaze. She had seen such looks many tis, sotis they could beco a powerful weapon for her.
At least it would be easier to gain initial goodwill this way.
Otherwise, she wouldn’t have chosen this outfit that best showcased her charm.
Charm itself is a very important hidden attribute in the Abyss, and it can co in handy at tis, like now!
Compared to Lan i’s composure, her teammate Xing Yi, a handso blond man in a white robe, looked a bit distorted.
"Damn, where the hell is that guy looking? I’ll dig his eyes out!"
"Haha, you simp, if you ruin the harmony between both parties because of that, the captain might skin you alive. Actually, I think that beautiful woman isn’t bad either."
Lan Shan, with fiery red hair who didn’t get along with him, laughed and sized up Harribel.
"Hmph."
"Alright, who knows if they can understand our words. If they have so mind-reading abilities, that’d be troubleso."
Another woman, with short hair and a sowhat competent deanor, reminded them.
This made the two quiet down.
However, Xing Yi had already started using a detection skill to analyze how to deal with these two "wild monsters."
Obviously, besides Lan i, the others did not receive any task trigger notifications.
On the other side, the flying mouse, relying on the information link with Yaribed, was also quietly observing, then signaled Yaribed to ask,
"Speaking of which, there was a misunderstanding with Mr. Grimmjow before, but since we’ve already cleared it up and we are soon to fight against the Burning Legion together, I wonder if you can provide a bit more information. As you know, we’re just natives of this world, and we don’t know much about the outside."
Yaribed put aside the feeling of having been defeated before, as it wasn’t these two who defeated her, and instead asked her question.
This reminded Grimmjow of the bad mories of being abused by the old skeleton.
And the eagerly awaiting Lan i, who also needed to understand Grimmjow and his group, had a glint in her eyes. She deliberately displayed a look of confusion on her pretty face and asked,
"Oh? Were there any misunderstandings before? Was there a conflict on that snowfield?"
"Not exactly. Previously, Mr. Grimmjow wanted to collect ’Martial Arts’ experts, which led to so misunderstandings with us."
Yaribed said succinctly.
Throwing out so information makes it easier to get so back, and the previous events aren’t impossible to investigate.
Outside the Royal Capital, the war zone from then still exists.
This made Lan i recall what she sensed back in the capital.
She ford a rough idea of the two’s strength in her mind and thought,
"Collecting ’Martial Arts’... We have that in side quests too, just not a high priority."
But regardless, she already had a preliminary understanding, and she tentatively said,
"So you’re interested in collecting so of the skills commonly used in the Abyss? I actually have a few as well."
"Oh? That’s actually valuable."
Grimmjow was sowhat surprised, as he had originally agreed just to flatter, and now it seed there was genuine gain.
"Captain Lan i, that’s not quite fair. You previously said there was no universal thod from the outside world when we asked."
Yaribed took the opportunity to make a request.
"Miss Yaribed misunderstood. I’m not talking about skills to adapt to the outside world, just so learning techniques, much like how mastering ’Martial Arts’ can also be sowhat universal outside."
Lan i’s words helped Yaribed and the flying mouse understand, but they still asked,
"What kind of technique is it? We’re a bit curious."
"It looks quite similar to Martial Arts and doesn’t help much for you. It’s a combat style called ’Eight God Ancient Martial Arts.’
Lan i spoke while casually summoning a glob of purple Gray Flas.
"But as I ntioned before, our physique, or what you know as the ’Reincarnators’ physique, is different. Even if you learned it, you couldn’t reach my level of strength. It would just be ordinary Red Fla for you."
Though Lan i’s purple flas remained unlaunched, everyone present could feel their intensity.
Even Yaribed and Shatiya felt a bit solemn.
This woman seed to be even stronger than they had imagined.
