Chapter 1384: Chapter 899: Escalation
Sava is an inland province of Intis, rich in minerals, with fierce local customs.
However, most resources are controlled by the local mine owners, leaving ordinary citizens to either farm or work in mines.
This has caused many Sava people to seek work opportunities elsewhere.
Trill, being the capital of Intis, is naturally a targeted destination for many Sava people.
But similarly, Trill has complex internal forces that are not particularly friendly to these rural newcors.
To compete for jobs and survive, many Sava people began to band together.
The Sava Party was ford as such an organization, occupying several streets with their gray businesses and also holding a large number of unskilled physical work positions.
The Golden Ballroom is located in the Honest Market District, controlled by the Sava Party, and is one of the most bustling ballrooms in the area.
When Anderson steps into the ballroom, he can feel the cheerful atmosphere with scantily clad beauties dancing energetically on stage, and the dance floor is filled with wild and chaotic dances.
Although he hasn’t been back for a long ti, when Anderson arrives at the ballroom he feels as if he’s returning ho, naturally heading to the second floor.
However, a burly Sava Party bouncer already stands in Anderson’s way.
“Sir, this area is not open to the public.”
“I’m here to see old Hunter. You can tell him Anderson is looking for him; he will see .”
Anderson doesn’t force his way in but stands there calmly.
This causes the bouncer’s face to show a bit of hesitation, and he then says,
“Lord Hunter is usually not here anymore; the ballroom is now managed by Mr. Martin.”
Hunter is an ‘officer’ Anderson knows from the Iron Blood Cross Society, and he handles a lot of intelligence related to Trill.
Receiving this reply surprises Anderson a little, but he doesn’t find it strange.
After being away for so long, anything could have changed, so he just smiles.
“Seems like the old man is truly aging, couldn’t keep up anymore; I rember he used to love picking up girls here.”
Anderson’s familiarity with Hunter softens the bouncer’s attitude a bit, who then says,
“I can go ask Mr. Martin.”
“No need, let Mr. Anderson co up; don’t neglect him.”
At that mont, a voice cos from above, prompting the bouncer to quickly agree and lead Anderson upstairs to a room.
The door is already half-opened, and after Anderson enters and the door closes behind him, the noisy sounds of the ballroom seem to be significantly muffled, making it very quiet.
Inside this spacious office, besides a rather suave-looking man behind a desk, there are two other figures resembling bodyguards.
Having received the Sequence 4 abilities through blessings, Anderson can easily make his judgnt.
The two bodyguards are on the Hunter Path, one Sequence 8 and the other Sequence 9, while Mr. Martin behind the desk appears to be a fully digested Sequence 6 Plotter.
If it were other sequences, even with Hunter’s insight, Anderson might not be as accurate, but unless the disguise abilities are too strong, Hunter Path predictions should be fine.
“Oh, I rember eting you.”
Anderson raises his eyebrows at Gardner Martin.
“That’s truly my honor; Mr. Anderson’s feat of defeating the Blood General caused quite a stir, making us all envious.”
Gardner speaks with a flat tone, then tells the two shocked figures beside him,
“You may leave; I have so words for Mr. Anderson.”
“Yes.”
The two comply imdiately.
Anderson raises his eyebrows and says,
“You’re not planning to send them to summon reinforcents against , are you?”
“As you say, the Blood General was slain by you; in Trill, could I even find a Demigod?”
Gardner laughs and shakes his head.
“But Mr. Anderson ca here for a purpose and reason, so why not tell ; if nothing unexpected happens, I will be the one taking over the business here in the future.”
“I need to assemble a team and hope to get the Iron Blood Cross Society’s help with this.”
Anderson seems to have prepared his words long ago.
“Assemble a team?”
Gardner appears to be sowhat puzzled, probably unaware of the Sequence 4 ritual and formula.
Recognizing this, Anderson seems to ponder for a mont and then says,
“You might consider notifying a vice president, preferably the president; I doubt they would bla you. If the Iron Blood Cross Society can assist with this matter, I can, of course, contribute to the organization.”
Anderson’s words cause Gardner to pause slightly and then fall into contemplation.
Assembling a team? Notify the president or vice president?
Thinking about it, even without knowing the specific ritual and formula, Gardner could make so guesses.
Being valued by an extraordinary person to such an extent, even taking the risk to co here, must entail sothing related to extraordinary paths!

The Sequence 4 ritual?!
This realization makes Gardner a bit excited.
Though now at the Middle Sequence level, the higher he climbs, the more aware he becos of the vast gap between Middle Sequence and High Sequence.
Unexpectedly, he just learned about part of the ritual preparation.
