Tao Yu was having breakfast, reading the new newspaper that arrived today, feeling a slight sense of amusent.

Then, Tao Yu saw a tabby cat, with patterns sowhat resembling a tabby orange cat, appear at the inn’s entrance.
The innkeeper, Mrs. Qiao Sen, had a British Shorthair that seed to feel its territory was threatened, and it let out a low, fluffy growl from beside Tao Yu’s feet.
But the tabby cat just glanced over, swaggering in as if it were carefully scrutinizing Tao Yu.
Tao Yu also smiled and poured a bit of milk on the floor, seemingly in an attempt to feed it.
However, the tabby cat had no interest in the milk on the ground; instead, the British Shorthair started to lick it up while cautiously watching the intruder as though proclaiming its territory.
Tao Yu realized this was Professor Minerva McGonagall’s Animagus form, likely there to observe him due to his unusual nature.
Perhaps the teacher who would guide him was her, personally coming over.
Sure enough, it wasn’t long before the tabby cat quickly left the inn, and a while later, an elderly woman with square glasses, black hair tied up in a high bun, and wearing a dark green robe walked into the inn.
Minerva McGonagall’s face already bore wrinkles, yet she appeared quite energetic, carrying an inherent steadfast charisma, with a hint of masculine vigour that ordinary won lacked.
Although she wasn’t wearing the wizard hat she usually donned, her current appearance in the dark green robe still seed sowhat out of place with ordinary people.
Mrs. Qiao Sen, having just tidied up the kitchen, ca out and curiously said upon seeing Minerva McGonagall,
“Is the guest looking to stay?”
“Mrs. Qiao Sen, this should be a teacher here to see .”
“Oh, so it’s your teacher! I was just saying that soone your age playing outside alone isn’t very safe.”
Mrs. Qiao Sen’s expression softened considerably at these words.
Minerva McGonagall nodded towards Mrs. Qiao Sen.
She had been out for a while now, and while guiding another little wizard from the Muggle world into the magic world, she often ca to observe and conduct so investigations.
She even specially went to so departnts in the Muggle world to do a preliminary understanding of this student’s background.
She also knew that Mrs. Qiao Sen was not the guardian of this little wizard, or rather, this little wizard was currently in a sort of ‘missing’ state in the Muggle world.
No one knows what he had gone through or how he sustained himself.
But she could confirm that on the very day his na was written down by the quill, he checked into this inn!
This ‘coincidence’ made Minerva McGonagall understand the exceptional nature of this student.
Moreover, upon identifying herself as a teacher from Hogwarts, he lacked the previous surprise and amazent that another little wizard from a Muggle family had shown.
Yet, as Dumbledore had said, nevertheless, according to the process, he ought to be enrolled.
“Hello, student Tao Yu, I am Minerva McGonagall from Hogwarts, you can call Professor McGonagall.”
Though Minerva McGonagall conducted investigations and was quite strict, she was indeed a competent and excellent teacher, and she set aside her prejudices, views, and assumptions to fulfill her responsibilities when facing an incoming student.
“Hello, Professor McGonagall, I’ve been waiting for you for so ti, getting a bit impatient. Can we start preparing for enrollnt now?”
“Certainly, please follow , I’ll first explain our school to you.”
With a Muggle outsider nearby, Minerva McGonagall didn’t directly ntion anything about the wizard world, subsequently leading Tao Yu out of the inn and across the street…

After leaving the inn, Minerva McGonagall didn’t keep much hidden from Tao Yu, instead contemplating before saying,
“Student Tao Yu, your appearance is quite unique, sowhat different from other little wizards. Other little wizards are recorded from the mont of birth, whereas it is only recently that we have beco aware of you. However, as per the rules, we also sent you an admission notice.”
“Oh, then it seems I am quite special.”
“Indeed, sowhat special, but that’s not significant. What you need to know is that you are now a student of Hogwarts. Though the letter ntioned a few things, I am unsure if you are aware of the wizard world, but I still feel it necessary to briefly inform you…”
Minerva McGonagall explained the existence of the wizard world to Tao Yu according to standard procedure, leading him directly all the way to the entrance of the Broken Cauldron Bar between a record store and a bookstore.
At this point, the record store had completely closed down, with a lock on the door, though there was no apparent sign of it being subleased yet. Professor McGonagall also said to Tao Yu,
“This is the Broken Cauldron Bar, visible only to us wizards; Muggles without magical power cannot see it. Beyond here is Diagon Alley where we will soon purchase learning materials, a street belonging to the wizards.”
