"If I win, you will call off your assault. You will no longer attack my clan. Consider it quits. You’ve lost your Silver Mine to , and I have suffered enough destruction in this war. That is my demand." Lancelot said.
Shane tilted his head, unimpressed. "That’s a huge Spirit Vein. The destruction here isn’t enough..."
"Then, if you win, you can continue attacking us... and I won’t be blowing up the Spirit Vein below us." Lancelot replied.
"That’s all? You think sparing your clan is enough of a prize for ?"
Shane said as he shook his head.
"What more do you want?" Lancelot asked.
"If I win, I will use the Talent Stealing Scroll on you, and you can’t resist... You have many talents, Lancelot... but I want to try my luck and claim the Immortality Talent for myself."
Gasps erupted across the battlefield. Even Shane’s own commanders stiffened at the audacity of his demand.
Still, Shane had to do this. After all, the Talent Stealing Scroll he got from Claud had very demanding requirents in order for it to be activated.
Apparently, the target must be within arm’s reach, and he must also be weakened, either physically or ntally. In short, the scroll must be activated during a mont of vulnerability.
And lastly, it could only steal Epic or Legendary Talents. If the talent of the target was lower than that, the scroll would just be wasted, and if he had many Talents, it would be random!
He really had a low chance of getting the Immortality Talent.
"You have that scroll?"
Lancelot asked but his smirk never faded. "So that’s your true desire... immortality."
Shane’s smile widened...
"Exactly. I don’t think that you having immortality talent is a good idea."
He replied.
The tension between them could already be felt even from afar.
Now, the rules were set, and the wager declared...
Of course, everyone watching this, especially those from other clans, was excited.
After all, if both these Rank 1 and Rank 9 Survivors fought, there would definitely be casualties, or at the very least, they’d get heavily injured at so point.
It might be the timing that Alexander and the others needed!
Soon, the armies on both sides held their weapons tightly as they waited for the battle to start. Anything could happen in this duel, so they must be ready to act in case soone cheats...

After so ti, as Lancelot finished speaking with his commanders, he raised his hand.
A faint crystal appeared between his fingers, and it was glowing with purple light. He then pressed it firmly, and in an instant, his robe dissolved into specks of light.
Just like that, his attire transford.
The commanders of the Overlord Clan imdiately recognized it, and gently nodded...

Lesley, Mireya, and Selvaris couldn’t help but feel satisfied at Lancelot’s actions.
Only the highest-ranking mbers of the clan knew of its existence. It was a Tier 5 set, forged from materials that could only be obtained through certain Survivors with specific Talents.
They weren’t sothing anyone could purchase in the Survivor Store, Reputation Store, or be looted from a Zombie Drop.
From head to toe, Lancelot’s appearance changed...
Everyone saw a crown-like helm of deep blue tal on his head. It covered his forehead and temples, leaving his golden hair flowing freely behind.
However, for his chestplate, it seed to be made of sapphire plates, as if it were truly made of crystals. It even had the Overlord Clan’s logo engraved on it.
Of course, it also had pauldrons... They were broad shoulder guards shaped like dragon wings, with their edges being sharp.
Then, there were gauntlets or gloves of blue steel that seed normal at first but they seed to be capable of casting skills on their own!
As for greaves and boots, or the armored leggings, they also seed to be made of sapphire. However, it could be noticed that there was no sound at all in his movents.
Lastly, there was a cape flowing behind him. It was a mantle of midnight-blue fabric, embroidered with golden threads on its edges...
His presence now gave the aura of a monarch descending into battle.
The Blue Emperor Set was definitely not a set that anyone could just wear...
The Overlord Clan’s soldiers gasped in awe as their morale surged.
"What an incredible set! Our Clan Leader is invincible!"
"That looks aweso... He really looked like a King."
"I wonder what kind of skills it can release."
"We will all of that soon..."
Lancelot smirked as he saw everyone’s reaction.
Still, it didn’t end there...
He whispered softly, and from beneath his inner shirt, several black snakes slithered out...
Soon, they hissed, coiling around his arms before retreating back into the shelter...
"Since we’re just battling one on one," Lancelot said coldly, "there’s no need to use pets."
Just like that, the snakes vanished, leaving only the faint hiss of their departure.
Shane nodded, unfazed. "Fair enough."
He raised his hand, and a ripple of tallic energy surged from his shadow.
A strange creature erged... a tal Sli. Its body shone like liquid steel, and it surprised many.
The armies gasped. None of them had ever seen such a pet before. Its surface reflected the battlefield like a mirror with its form constantly shifting, rippling with strange energy.
"What in the world is that...?" one soldier couldn’t help but point it out.
"A sli... but it’s tal?!" another shouted, eyes wide in disbelief. He had seen slis before and they were pets that would die in two or three days.
However, this one seed really powerful!
"Impossible! Slis are weak, fragile things...how can one shine like steel?"
"I’ve never seen anything like this... it looks indestructible!"
"I guess it’s possible... Rember, this is the Rank 1’s pet..."
