The various commanders left the war chamber as soon as they received Alexander’s orders.
However, their expressions were a bit weird since they were still doubting the identity of their enemy this ti.
So still whispered among themselves since Shane was not their only enemy, after all.
Phoenix Phalanx had crossed countless clans, shelters, and rcenary groups. Any of them could have struck Blue Salt.
Yet Alexander’s certainty weighed heavily.
He believed he was right, and none of them dared openly challenge it. If he believed Shane was behind the attack, then they would prepare as if it were true.
Within hours, the three special forces mobilized.
Shadow Talons moved first, slipping through forests like wraiths.
Their leader, Veynar the Silent Blade, gave no speeches, only gestures to his team. His assassins vanished into the night using their concealnt cloaks...
Bloodfang Marauders followed, their commander, Drogath the Bloodfang, gave his orders. His warriors carried heavy axes and berserker potions and of course, they all had crimson tattoos...
Apparently, their leader had a talent called Tattoo Artist, and it was Epic Grade! Using this talent, he was able to create 5 tattoo marks for himself and his people. Each of them had different effects that gave them Survivor Skills.
Lastly, the Iron Veil Assassins spread across the terrain, their leader Eva directed them for this operation.
Her cursed needles and binding spells were infamous, and her unit specialized in sabotage and infiltration.
Together, they left the Ghoul Shelter and surrounded Blue Salt Shelter in less than twelve hours after its capture.
Soon, scouts reported the situation within the Blue Salt Shelter.
But all of this movent was observed.
Kael and his small team, stationed outside Ghoul Shelter, had been watching carefully. They saw the special forces depart, their formations slipping into the forest...
Even their exact numbers had been reported to Lysandra...
Furthermore, Fiona’s rats scurried everywhere, slipping through cracks and shadows.
Through their eyes, she observed the encirclent forming around Blue Salt Shelter.
Every squad, every leader, every hidden ambush was mapped...
[ Kael: Lysandra... Good job attracting these elites outside the Ghoul Shelter. ]
Kael said through the Private ssage.
[ Lysandra: That’s my job... ]
She replied.
Well, Lysandra also knew that directly confronting one of the strongest shelters could lead to massive casualties.
With that in consideration, they might as well lure so of them out and weaken their defenses.
Soon, Fiona gave several more reports.
[ Fiona: I see a total of 260 people. They’re surrounding Blue Salt Shelter. Lysandra will have to hold against three of Alexander’s strongest forces. They’re all above Level 40 for sure. Good luck. ]

A few hours ago, the Blue Salt Shelter had been really quiet, its streets patrolled by Wardens and survivors.
The Phoenix Phalanx had been crushed, and their mbers either executed or imprisoned. Yet in the hangar beneath the shelter, five figures remained restless.
They were the pilots of the Aegis chs, machines that had not yet been deployed in the battle for Blue Salt and as a matter of fact, they had never participated in a battle ever since they left the shelter.
For days, they had watched from the sidelines, maintaining their fras, running diagnostics, and waiting for the order to launch.
The Wardens had carried the brunt of the fighting, supported by Lysandra’s soldiers, but the pilots knew their ti was coming.
Alexander’s retaliation was inevitable, and when it ca, their Aegis chs would be the spearhead.
Oman, the eldest of the five, spent his ti in silence, polishing the armor plates of his fra Vanguard.
He was only early by two weeks but he was considered the eldest pilot here. He was once a rcenary commander, and his ch reflected his nature, built for defense, heavy strikes, and shielding allies. He had watched the battle for Blue Salt unfold with calm eyes, knowing that his machine would soon be tested against enemies far stronger than Tara’s scattered warriors.
Then, there was Killian opposite him. He was hot-blooded and reckless, he had paced the hangar like a caged beast, itching to fight.
His fra was Juggernaut was designed for speed and aggression. It was even modified to equip sabers ready to carve through enemy lines.
He had cursed under his breath when Lysandra ordered the Wardens forward instead of him, but now his grin returned. The mission ahead would finally unleash him.
Then, there was Mina who had been calm throughout. She spent her days studying maps, analyzing Fiona’s rat reports, and planning strategies.
Her fra was also Juggernaut but it was equipped with lances and mist generators, perfect for battlefield control.
She had not minded waiting since patience was her strength. But when the order ca to mobilize, she would happily take down her enemies.
"So it’s finally coming here, huh..." Holt muttered as he heard the commotion... He was once an engineer and always had been ticulous.
Whenever he had ti, he checked every circuit, every weapon alignnt, every missile pod on his fra Overseer. He believed in preparation above all else. While others grew restless, he found peace in the hum of machinery, knowing that his long‑range bombardnts would soon rain destruction on Alexander’s elites.
Lastly, there was Semy.
She spoke little, but she was always watching. Her fra Phantom specialized in stealth and precision sniping.
She had spent the days calibrating her targeting systems, ensuring that when she fired, her shots would never miss. She was the ghost among them, the one who would strike unseen...
Together, they ford Lysandra’s hidden trump card.
When Fiona’s rats reported the encirclent, and it was cascaded to them...
Soon, Lysandra summoned the pilots. The mission was clear. They had to eliminate the three forces before they could tighten their grip on Blue Salt Shelter.
Soon, the hangar roared to life.
The Wardens outside who would be supporting them, lined up with rifles ready...
Even engineers rushed to finish last-minute adjustnts.
After so ti, the five pilots climbed into their cockpits.
As soon as their systems were ready, they finally got a signal from Lysandra.
Oman’s voice ca first.
"Oman... Vanguard, moving out!"
Killian grinned as he saw Oman’s ch moving out. Soon, his Juggernaut’s thrusters also flared as he gripped the twin sabers.
"Killian... Juggernaut, comncing sortie!"
Mina followed with her Juggernaut, holding lances.
"Mina... Juggernaut, deploying now!"
The last two quickly left as well.
"Holt... Overseer, systems green, advancing!"
"Semy... Phantom, engaging operation."
One by one, the Aegis chs strode out of the hangar... The Wardens also moved behind them with their rifles raised, ready to support.
"Now... Let’s see how you can deal with this." Lysandra muttered with an evil smirk on her face.

The encirclent around Blue Salt Shelter happened quickly.
Shadow Talons lurked in the forests...
Bloodfang Marauders were also prepared for an all-out brawl, while the Iron Veil Assassins moved, aiming to sabotage the supply lines or even the water passing through the river within the shelter.
Their commanders were certain of victory. Veynar the Silent Blade of the Shadow Talons had already marked targets, his assassins poised to strike unseen.
Drogath the Bloodfang stood at the front of his Marauders, axe in hand...
Eva of the Iron Veil directed her saboteurs and prepared her cursed needles, to cripple defenses.
They believed the shelter would fall quickly. But then the ground trembled.
From the gates, five massive silhouettes erged... The Aegis chs appeared!
The sight sent ripples of unease through the enemy ranks.
"What are those machines?" one Shadow Talon whispered.
"They’re not small at all! Who gave that report that they’re human-sized machines?!" Eva shouted in frustration.
Before her words could settle, the chs surged forward.
Juggernauts tore through their ranks...
Overseer’s railguns thundered, detonating among the Marauders.
The Phantom also started shooting down leaders before they could rally.
Then, the Vanguard ch raised its shields, absorbing volleys of arrows and spells!
The Bloodfang Marauders charged as their Tattoo Marks gave them fearless trait!
It was a bad decision to have that tattoo!
"Shit..." Drogath realized that as well since they should be retreating!
However, he had no control over it now!
Killian’s Juggernaut cleaved through them!
Holt’s Overseer then rained bombardnts, scattering their ranks before they could close the distance.
Drogath had no choice as he believed that as long as he could slice the ch, he’d be able to cut it in half with his Mutilation Skill!
Then, he tried swinging his axe, only to be blasted back by a railgun strike that shattered defense!
Boom!
anwhile, Shadow Talons tried to infiltrate the Blue Salt shelter, but Semy’s Phantom was waiting.
Her shots pierced concealnt cloaks, and soon assassins fell one by one, their stealth was useless against againt her Third Eye Talent!
Veynar himself attempted a silent strike, but a single shot from Phantom ended his approach...
Iron Veil Assassins unleashed poison mist and cursed wind together with binding spells ant to cripple machines. However, Mina’s Juggernaut answered with mist generators, freezing the bindings mid‑air...
"Useless struggle..." Mina muttered as she saw Eva’s needles fly... However, they were easily deflected by the chs! The Warden Units didn’t even need to help!
The battlefield beca a one-sided slaughter!
Within minutes, the encirclent collapsed...
And as the dust settled, the five Aegis chs stood tall... The three special forces were no match against them!
