Aka and his crew stood frozen on the shoreline…
"What in the world?"
"How did we get here?"
"Boss, where did you find this place?"
The others reacted.
However, Aka had no idea either…
Their weapons were still raised and exhaustion etched into their faces.
For three days, they had fought at sea, battered by wyverns and dragged down by sea zombies. They had expected only more despair when they landed. But what they saw on the island was sothing else entirely.
"I'm not dreaming, am I?" Aka muttered. He just couldn't believe what was happening.
Five colossal chs towered above the battlefield, each one a humanoid machine of steel and even with so mana.
Their movents weren't even stiff!
They moved precisely and everyti they attacked, it was devastating, every strike shaking the ground! One ch swung a massive blade, cleaving through a wave of Tyrant zombies as if they were paper. Another raised its arm, unleashing a barrage of cannon fire that tore wyverns from the sky in fiery explosions.
The crew gasped as the machines advanced.
"Seriously… Are we even safe here? Did we just enter another lion's den?" one whispered.
Then, they saw it…
It wasn't just the chs. Below them, human‑sized robots fought in disciplined formations.
These smaller constructs wielded crossbows and blades, cutting down Hunters and Jumpers with chanical accuracy that was terrifying…
Seeing their 100% accuracy was definitely sothing intimidating… No matter how fast the Hunters or Jumpers move, they were struck by bolts between their eyes!
The androids' glowing eyes scanned the battlefield, and they were coordinating seamlessly with the towering giants above.
Aka's n had thought shelters were fragile, barely holding against the Cross-Apocalypse. But this one was different. The survivors here weren't weak either!
They had bombers hurling explosive charges into clusters of zombies, shooters firing in synchronized volleys, and expert swordsn carving through the undead so easily!
Then Aka noticed sothing that made his breath catch.
"Wait a minute…"
Among the defenders were long-eared people!
At first, he thought that he was just hallucinating… However, after observing carefully, he confird that it was really the beings of the legends!
Elves…
Their agile forms moved gracefully atop the ramparts with their bows!
Arrows infused with elental energy passed across the battlefield, piercing vampires through the heart and igniting wyverns mid‑flight.
There weren't many elves among them. However, their impact in the battlefield could not be denied!
There were no wasted arrows whenever they released their bowstrings.
Beside them, bulking warriors, most likely super soldiers enhanced beyond human limits, charged into the chaos…
Their muscles bulged with power and even Tyrant Zombies couldn't stop them!
"Incredible…"
"This shelter… It must be owned by so top-ranking Clan."
"Or maybe a coalition of Clans owns this place."
"There's no way a single clan could have this much firepower… That would be too unfair."
"Ha… I know what you're saying. Should we try asking for mbership after this?"
"Guys… Be serious… The event hasn't ended yet. We should probably help them a bit and ask permission to enter their shelter."
"Yes! We will do that later." Aka said as he also planned to ask or pay whatever the leader of the Fortiress ask just to enter this shelter.
For now, they watched how this shelter dismantled the wave of zombies, vampires, and the dragon's army.
They watched as the Super Soldiers slamd into dragonoids, breaking bones with sheer force, and wrestled wyverns to the ground before driving blades into their skulls.
It was an aweso sight!
"This is crazy…"
"I hope we'll not be mistaken as enemies…"
"That's true… What if a cannonball just ca flying to us?"
Aka chuckled at how his n were looking so worried.
"Don't worry… We're already noticed. They're just eliminating the rest of the horde before taking care of us. Just behave and let talk to them later."
The coalition of enemies, zombies, vampires, and the dragon army had co together in terrifying unity.
Tyrants were in front to absorb attacks, Hunters leapt from the shadows, Giant Zombies smashed their fists into the earth, Jumpers bounded across the battlefield, and Lickers used their tongues to attack the gunners.
Vampires moved among them with blood whips, targeting every human in sight…
Their coordination was tightening the assault.
However, it was not easy for them…
Above, Aka and the others could hear wyverns shriek… They were circling like vultures, as they weren't able to get closer due to the elves and the five towering chs!
Apparently, against this shelter, their unity ant nothing…
The chs dismantled them piece by piece.
One ch grabbed a Giant zombie by the neck, lifted it effortlessly, and hurled it into a cluster of Lickers, crushing them beneath its bulk.
Boom!
The impact from that move had even reached Aka's location…
Another ch fired a guided missile that streaked through the sky, moving past wyverns before detonating in their midst, scattering flaming corpses into the ground!
Thud! Thud! Thud!
The human‑sized robots advanced in squads with their blades as they were pressuring the Zombies really well!
They cut down Jumpers mid‑air, skewered Hunters before they could pounce, and dismantled Tyrants with relentless strikes to their joints.
Bombers hurled charges into the densest clusters, explosions easily ripped apart hordes of zombies. Shooters fired nonstop as their bullets pierced vampire skulls…
Then, swordsn moved within the chaos as they severed limbs and heads of the enemies in front of them…
It was such an incredible sight…
"It'll be over soon…" Aka muttered.
They all waited for it to happen.
They watched the elves rained arrows from above…
Soon, fire arrows ignited wyverns, ice arrows froze dragonoids in place, and lightning arrows shattered vampire defenses.
"I think we should move back a little bit…" One of the crews suggested.
"Yes… It's getting a bit more intense…"
"Good idea…" Aka agreed as it was just getting crazier…
The coordination of the human defenders was seamless, as if they had fought together for years.
The super soldiers were unstoppable.
They charged into the thickest fighting, their fists breaking bones, their blades cleaving through dragonoid armor.
One soldier grabbed a wyvern by the wing, slamd it into the ground, and drove a spear through its skull.
Another tore a Tyrant apart with sheer brute strength like it was handling a bread!
Aka and his crew could only watch in awe.
What had seed like certain doom was being dismantled before their eyes.
The coalition of three apocalyptic forces was crumbling at every second they watch…
"Let's pray that we'll be accepted here…"
Aka's heart pounded. He had never seen such power, such unity.
Just like that, the coalition of enemies fought desperately, but they were being dismantled piece by piece.
Finally, the last wyvern fell from the sky, its body crashing into the sand.
The remaining vampires were skewered by arrows, and their bodies dissolved into ash.
The zombies were also reduced to corpses, their hordes scattered.
The dragonoids lay broken, their armor shattered.
Silence fell across the battlefield.
Aka exhaled, his eyes wide.
It was seriously an intense battle to watch…
His crew stood stunned as well…
They had thought their lives were dood, but now they saw hope.
This shelter was not weak.
It was powerful, fortified by technology, warriors, elves, and machines unlike anything they had ever seen.

The battlefield slowly quieted as the last corpses were cleared.
Survivors from the shelter moved with practiced efficiency, stripping weapons from fallen vampires, harvesting cores from zombies, and collecting wyvern scales.
Every scrap of material was valuable, and they wasted nothing.
"Stay here... They're definitely wary of us. Just wait." AKa reminded.
Indeed, his crew remained on the shoreline, weapons lowered but still tense.
They dared not move closer, afraid of being mistaken for intruders. Exhaustion weighed on them, but they held their ground, waiting.
Soon, a figure approached.
He was armored but not hostile, he was also carrying a banner marked with the shelter's insignia. Clearly, he was a ssenger.
His eyes scanned Aka's group before he spoke.
"You are not enemies, correct? State your situation."
Aka stepped forward, steadying his voice despite his fatigue.
"We are survivors from the seas. For three days, we fought wyverns and sea zombies before landing here. Our ship is nearly destroyed. We seek shelter… and we are willing to pay for it."
The ssenger studied him for a mont, then nodded. Apparently, he was also inford that this could happen.
"Entry is possible. But there is a price. One hundred zombie cores per person."
The crew murmured in shock. It was steep, far more than they had expected. But Aka raised his hand to silence them. "We accept. We will pay whatever is required. Survival is worth more than any core."
The ssenger's expression softened slightly. "Good. Then prepare your paynt. Once the battlefield is secured, you will be escorted inside."
Relief washed over Aka's crew.
After days of despair, they finally had hope.
"Alright, guys... Just behave inside... Don't let them know our secret."
The last part was said softly as Aka prepared the paynt.
