Using the chaos as cover, Shane activated his Phantasm Rush since he didn't plan to just let the two Tyrant Zombies do the work.
He was confident that these two Zombies would not be enough to deal with these Survivors.
Soon, his figure suddenly blurred as he moved with supernatural speed with the activation of his skill.
As soon as he reached the palisade, he used his Five-ter Jump Skill to vault over the wooden barrier!
Thud…
Just like that, Shane was able to infiltrate the stronghold of the Mystic Mirage Clan without being noticed.
Inside the compound, he started observing the surroundings silently. His eyes scanned the chaotic scene of the Survivors trying to reinforce the palisade to stop the Zombies from entering their base.
In any case, now that he was here, his Perception of the place had gotten clearer. It was no longer being obscured by the strange barrier of the shelter.
'Just get their attention for now…' Shane thought to himself as he glanced in the direction where his summoned Zombies are.
Rooaarrr!
At this ti, the Tyrant Zombies were wreaking havoc, one of their powerful attacks had even decimated so of the Mystic Mirage mbers.
[ Your Tyrant Zombie has eliminated a Survivor. ]
[ Your Tyrant Zombie has eliminated a Survivor. ]
…
[ Your Tyrant Zombie has eliminated a Survivor. ]
It was repeated for a total of seven tis!
Shane then found a corner and took advantage of the confusion. He pulled out five of Orb of Undead Summoning from his Inventory. They were his loot after raiding his first Wild Shelter before.
[ Orb of Undead Summoning ( Low ): A single-use mysterious orb that pulses with dark energy, used by the Necromancer to summon and control undead minions. The orb is said to amplify the Necromancer's powers and command over the undead if consud.
Effects when activated: Undead Summoning: Randomly summon a low-tier Undead.
Effects when consud: Effective only with those with Necromancer Talent: 10 Dark Spirit. ]
He doesn't have Necromancer Talent, so he sold so of his Orb of Undead Summoning while keeping so for himself.
'I don't need so good but just enough to give those Tyrant Zombies so breather.' Shane thought as he activated the orbs.
He imdiately gave his consent to the notification he received, and soon, with a flash of dark energy, three Ghoul Tanks and two Zombie Warriors materialized.
"So Zombies have entered!"
"Deal with them quickly! Find the hole they used to enter and close it up. Hurry!"
"Wait… Those are Ghouls and Zombie Warriors! They're from the Wild Shelter!"
"What?! They're Undead Creatures?!"
"There's no Wild Shelter nearby, right? What's going on?!"
"Tsk… Those three must've been followed by these Zombies! Idiots! They should've killed themselves."
Soon, a few of the Survivors turned their attention to the low-tier Undead Creatures.
The Ghoul Tanks were massive and had hard skin, so they may have weak damage, but it would take so ti to kill them.
Then, they charged to the nearest Survivors as they obeyed Shane's instructions.
The Zombie Warriors, on the other hand, moved faster than Shane had expected as they worked together with the Ghoul Tanks.
'They're a lot faster than the Zombie Warriors I killed before.' Shane comnted in his mind as it seed that the ones he summoned were a lot better than the normal low-tier undead creatures.
Anyway, after doing all of this, Shane's attention was finally focused on the unusual warehouse of this compound…
He was able to sense sothing off in this area, so he wanted to check this place imdiately.
Upon reaching the warehouse, Shane pushed open the heavy, creaking door.
Everyone was busy, so no one noticed his actions.
"This…" Shane was shocked.
He already had so guesses after his Perception grasped the surroundings. However, to see it for real still made his blood boil.
The sight that t his eyes was a stark contrast to the chaos outside.
Inside, this dark room was a bit ssy. It was not a place where people should live. In any case, it was illuminated by flickering torches, and he could also see stacked crates and barrels on either side of the wall, but it was not the cargo that caught his attention; it was the haunting cries that she heard.
As he stepped further inside, he was able to see it clearly.
The Mystic Mirage Clan was not just a group of Survivors; they were truly evil. In the far corner of the warehouse, five captured won were bound and gagged, their faces pale and filled with fear.
They were not in good condition—bruises marred their skin, and their eyes were filled with despair.
It was not hard to guess what was going on.
Shane's heart raced with fury as he took in the grueso sight.
He even recalled so of the things he witnessed during the A.I. Rebellion that he simply buried in his mories.
'Those scums…'
Anger ignited within him as he decided to free these won.
Of course, he removed his mask as he was afraid that he would scare them once they got a closer look at his face.
They might die from a heart attack instead if that happened.
He also quickly assessed the area, noting that there were a couple of guards patrolling outside the warehouse. It seed that they had noticed that they were worried that a Zombie had entered the warehouse and wanted to check on the condition of their captured won.
There was no ti to waste. With a swift motion, Shane drew his golden hatchet.
As soon as the two entered the warehouse, an arc of light occurred from the darkness…
Thud… Thud…
Just like that, two severed heads dropped to the ground.
Shane didn't even glance at the notification that he received from the system.
He approached the won cautiously…
Then, as they heard his footsteps, their imdiate reaction was to flinch…
Seeing this, Shane's heart ached for their suffering.
"I'm here to help you," he whispered softly, cutting through their binds easily…
As the ropes fell away, Shane noticed that they were actually Master-Grade Rope that were mostly available in the Survivor Store.
The won didn't imdiately realize what was going on as their eyes widened with a mix of hope and disbelief.
It took them a few monts to confirm that they were really being saved. Then, they imdiately showed their gratitude to Shane.
"Thank you… please, we need to get out of here," one of the won gasped, trembling with fear.
Shane gently nodded after hearing this. It was a good thing that they all wanted to escape this place and live their life. He should be able to at least help them restart their lives.
"Just stay here for now… I'll deal with the people outside and co later…" Shane said as he decided to give them so of his extra clothes, food, water, and even pistols for their protection.
These pistols were looted or bought in the Survivor Store. This way, they would feel safer even if he was away.
Then, Shane gave them the Healing Tokens but didn't ntion how to use them since he was in a hurry.
Also, asking them whether they are 'Foreign Survivors' or residents of this continent or summoned through a Recruitnt Stone could be done later.
Once again, the group thanked Shane's actions and knew that he could really be trusted. After all, they had even received firearms from him. There was no way they were being tricked by this person.
"Wait for …" Shane said as he glanced toward the door. He already sensed that there were other guards who were about to check on this place.
Shane swiftly left and waited for them to enter before eliminating them once again.
Just like that, two more mbers of the Mystic Mirage Clan have been killed!
As soon as he had gotten outside, he imdiately wore his Zombie Mask and transford into a Zombie!
Just like that, Shane worked together with his three remaining Zombie Warriors… Apparently, in the ti he left to save the five won, they had already killed the two Tyrant Zombies and the two Ghoul Tanks…
"Tsk! A Hunter Zombie is here!"
"Just where are they coming from?!"
"Find that hole in our wall already!"
"Soone's looking for that already. Just focus---Ahh!"
Shane decided to act like a Zombie as he started to crush these Survivors! Using his 500 Strength and Agility, they were unable to follow his movents at all.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Even without using his Brawler's Fury or various Survivor Skills or even Weapons in his Inventory, he was able to effortlessly kill these people!
None of them could lock unto him and use their skills or talents… They would always miss Shane and die from his punches or tackles!
"Call the Clan Leader! We can't handle this guy! We already used those grenades on the two Tyrant Zombies!" The captain of the guards shouted.
He actually had difficulty eliminating the Tyrant Zombies a while ago… Now, there was another weird Hunter Zombie in front of him, and he could only hope that their Clan Leader could hurry up and kill this thing!
