Of course, Asad was aware that his Zombies didn't have enough strength to truly kill the Zombie Lord.
Nonetheless, with their indestructible status, Asad knew that he would be able to bind the Fleshrender for so ti.
This would allow him to cast one of his strongest spells.
After all, despite heavily relying on his Grimoire, Asad was still a Necromancer who could cast various Dark Spells thanks to his Talent.
Now, seeing that his forces alone wouldn't be enough to bring down the Zombie Lord, Asad decided to borrow the hidden power of his grimoire.
This action allowed him to cast his spell three tis its intensity or power.
Whoosh~
A page of the Grimoire vanished because of this action. However, Asad wasn't disappointed as he already expected this.
Suddenly, Asad emitted a strong corrupted energy around him… As a side effect, the undead creatures around him were infused with additional strength… Even if he wasn't casting his spell yet, his army's attacks had already beco more ferocious, injuring the Lord Tier Zombie in the process.
The Overlord roared, its regeneration working overti to heal the damage it sustained. Yet, with the enhanced power of Asad's army, the tide of battle began to shift.
Soon, Asad's spell was finally completed.
"Grip of Death…" Asad muttered as he activated the Necromancer Spell.
This ability allowed him to see his target's weaknesses and also to destroy those for a brief mont.
In this case, Asad saw four Zombie Cores within its body. This shocked Asad since even high-tier Zombies only have one within their bodies.

As for targeting humans or other Survivors, he would just normally see their hearts, and gripping them until it crushed would be enough to kill them.
Nonetheless, as soon as Asad realized that the Zombie had so many cores, he quickly moved. He couldn't waste his ti. After all, he only had five seconds to crush those cores!
Crash! Crash! Crash!
Asad successfully destroyed three of the Lord Tier Zombie's cores located in various parts of its body.
However, he didn't have enough ti to destroy the fourth or final core!
"Go!" Asad shouted as he felt drained after using that spell… Normally, he would only crash one core or heart using this spell. However, the four cores made him use the grip three tis which expended a lot of energy, stamina, and spirit points…
Nevertheless, his undead army should be able to deal with the remaining life of the Lord Tier Zombie.
Sure enough, the Death Knights hacked away at its limbs, severing one of its arms!
It was no longer as tough as before!
Then, the Mummy Kings unleashed multiple types of curses that slowed its regeneration. The Lich and the skeleton warriors also started attacking the Fleshrender, but it was still sowhat regenerating and couldn't be killed just yet!
"Ugh… So tough!" Asad couldn't help but complain seeing how tough the Zombie was even after removing three of its cores.
The battle continued for about half an hour, and during this ti, two Death Knights, two Mummy Kings, and most of his Skeleton Warriors were already destroyed.
Thankfully, however, Asad was still successful!
After a few monts, the Lich launched a final Corrupted Energy blast, hitting the Overlord square in the chest and staggering it.
The Fleshrender Zombie tried to endure it but it was already so battered with two missing limbs and various holes on its bodies…
After another strike from one of his remaining Death Knights, the Lord Tier Zombie was finally killed!
"Ahhh! Finally!" Asad shouted in joy.
Soon, Asad saw the system's ssage!
This imdiately excited him!

Fleshrender's Bane: Grants a 15% increase in physical damage and resistance when battling berserker-type Zombies.

Asad smirked after seeing the reward.
"A fitting reward for the effort," he muttered. Anyway, this was only the system's ssage about his Lord Zombie kill.
The ssage didn't end there.

"Wait… What? I'm the third Lord Tier Zombie Killer?! Who's the second?!" Asad was shocked. He didn't expect that he would co third…
He imdiately thought that it might be Travis, Raze, Natalie, or perhaps Alexander.
Of course, he really liked the rewards he had just obtained. The experience points, reputation points, zombie cores, and even a very useful item for a Necromancer like him, who wouldn't fight head-on against his enemies.
Then, Asad imdiately opened his World Chat to see the announcent.
First, he saw the announcent that was referring to him.

This was the ssage that was certainly for him. He was the Raven Guard and indeed, he was able to obtain the Third Kill.
It was worth celebrating but he couldn't help but feel disappointed knowing that soone beat him to the second place.
As he scrolled up, he soon noticed the ssage four the second kill just a couple of minutes faster than his kill!
"Ugh! So disappointing!" Asad muttered as he saw the tistamp.
However, his eyes went wide as soon as he read the announcent.

"W-what the---Shadow Strider... You... How did you do it so fast?!" Asad exclaid. Shane was the last person he expected to get the second skill since he thought that Shane wouldn't be that fast raiding a Zombie Lord's Territory after defeating one.
He should still be recuperating and taking his ti!
