"Keep it up! It's slowing down!" Raze shouted as everyone started to move. Although the Zombie's regeneration had stopped, it was simply because it wasn't eating or digesting any food at the mont. Raze felt that if it could eat sothing, the regeneration might start once again! They had to eliminate the Zombie Lord now!
Roan then started accumulating more fire in its chest for one finishing move!
On the other hand, Tessa moved swiftly as she planted Inferno Bombs at the Tyrant's legs before flipping away in a swift motion…
Tessa bit her lips as the Inferno Bombs were worth 20 Reputation Points each. She didn't mind losing hundreds of Zombie Cores but every Reputation Point was hard to co by. Even killing a Zombie Leader could only give them 1 Reputation Point.
In short, each Inferno Bomb needed 20 Zombie Leaders!
"Please don't let use all my other Bombs…" Tessa muttered. After all, she planned to use it to complete her Ascension Quest. Her mission may not be to eliminate a Zombie Lord but she had to kill five Zombie Kings!
That would surely eat up a lot of her resources. This ti, however, she had to take her loss and could only hope that Raze could reimburse her expenses today.
Thud…
The mont she landed, Tessa swiftly backed away and pressed the detonator.
Boom!
A deafening explosion engulfed the lower half of the Tyrant's body. The fire started consuming its flesh and even bones shattered from the sheer impact.
This wouldn't have happened if Raze didn't use her most explosive attack just now.
The Zombie Lord then opened its mouth. It seed that it was about to release a Sound Attack once again!
Lyra quickly acted and took her chance, firing a highly upgraded projectile—a Spirit-Dampening Net—directly at the Tyrant's throat.
Of course, it was an item she purchased in the Reputation Store.
The net wrapped around its neck, sealing away its ability to make noise and also to regenerate!
The Tyrant failed to roar as its entire body convulsed as it struggled against the suppression.
"Great!" Raze was quite happy seeing the reaction speed of her teammates. They all had really gotten strong all this ti.
Of course, Raze wasn't finished yet.
From her belt, she pulled out a vial of Crimson Reaver Blade Oil, quickly coating her halberd in the glowing red substance.
It wasn't a Store Item but it was sothing she found in a Golden Treasure Chest. She also doesn't have a lot of vials of this oil so she was using them sparingly.
The mont the oil touched the tal, it ignited with a dark red fla.
She gripped her weapon tightly as she waited for the fla to stabilize.
"Ti to end this," she whispered.
Roan let out a roar and it was followed by a ball of fire!
Bang!
The fire hit the Zombie Lord and Roan didn't stop! He actually flew up and swooped down from above clamping its powerful jaws around the Tyrant's skull, pinning it to the ground!
Boom!
This had all happened in just a few seconds and this opened up a huge opportunity for everyone.
Tessa moved and carved her blade through the beast's tendons, severing its ans of resistance. Lyra took careful aim, her sniper rifle fired an armor-piercing round straight into the Tyrant's remaining eye!
Crunch~
The bullet tore through its skull, shattering its vision completely!
The Ravenous Tyrant's body spasd violently as it tried to push away anything that was coming close to it…
"This ends now."
With one final swing, she brought the weapon down with all her might.
"Haa!"
The halberd cleaved through the Ravenous Tyrant's neck in a clean arc, severing its head from its body.
Thud!
Its head collapsed and rolled to the ground and soon, they heard the notification from the system!
[ Your team has eliminated a Loose Zombie Lord – Ravenous Tyrant. ]
Everyone collapsed to the ground after getting that notification! They finally did it! They wanted to celebrate but they were already exhausted.
They were simply too tired and they just wanted to take a long rest!

On the other hand, Roan roared in victory while still clamping down on the Zombie Lord's neck. Roan even seed to have gotten bigger!
Furthermore, the Loose Zombie Lord didn't actually turn into a red crystal as its body remained on the ground!
Nonetheless, what Raze and the others cared about was the reward they would get from this victory!
"Huuu~"
Raze planted her halberd into the ground, using it to steady herself.
"That… took way too long." Kael let out a breathless laugh, slumping onto the rubble.
"I don't want to do that again." Jaxon smirked despite himself.
"You say that, but you know that we'll be hunting one soon." Tessa wiped the blood off her blades, as she also leaned on a rubble.
"Let's just enjoy this mont first." Lyra said as she approached the group.
The system notification rang in their ears.

Apparently, there was no need to do the looting process as the items were already transferred to Raze's inventory, the leader of the Party.

Raze's focus shifted once again to the notification and realized that there was no reward for being able to kill the Loose Zombie Lord for the first ti.
'I guess that made sense… If there's a special reward for eliminating Loose Zombie Lord, there would be many Survivors who will attempt to release these Zombie Lords. Once that happens, this continent will beco more dangerous.' Raze thought for a mont as she soon opened the regional chat.
Just as she expected, everyone was congratulating her team for eliminating the Zombie Lord.

"Nice one…" Shane muttered after seeing the notification about Raze's success. It was certainly a good thing that her party had gotten a lot stronger.
After all, he might require Raze's assistance once he decides to raid the citadel and the fortress for his Ascension Quest.
For now, Shane looked at his surroundings…
He was currently at the center of the clearing, gripping the Advanced Shelter Crystal in his hand.

The underground facility beneath them had yielded imnse treasures—Bio-Armors, technology, and resources that could push their survival efforts to a new level... But for all its riches, the facility alone wasn't enough. They needed a true stronghold. A place to defend, to build, or to thrive.

Everyone took several steps back as Shane started the process. The Advanced Shelter Crystal shined in his grip as if it was telling Shane that it was ready to be activated.
The energy from the shelter crystal felt warm or at the very least, it felt as if it was filled with life.
"Here we go," Shane muttered, raising the crystal high as he agreed to the system's notifications to complete the process.
The mont the crystal dissipated, the ground trembled.
