Chapter 757: Finding Food Supply
Everyone knew about Raze’s dragon, so if one of them had seen sothing related to that, they would imdiately suggest it to her, just in case she needed them.
It was the sa for others…
[ Asad: Does anyone want enchanted armor that resists fire and poison? Sector B-7, Vulcan’s Vault. Base 200. They have all kinds of armor here. But if you want a weapon, you don’t want to visit this place. Pass it up. There’s only defensive gear here. ]
[ Tundra: There’s Toxic Resistance Serum x10 vials at Serpent’s Kiss Apothecary, Sector D-22. Bid’s low, only 2,200 for a set right now. ]
After this ssage, when Shane was about to close the chat, another ssage popped out.
[ Layla: Oh, I will be seeing those Whisperfang Daggers, Shane… I’ll visit the store as quickly as possible.. I’ve been looking for sothing with Telekinetic resonance for months. ]
Shane smiled after seeing the ssage.
Then, just like that, the Chat beca active again.
[ Kael: Anyone in the market looking for an ancient musical instrunt? Found a crystalline harp at “Echo of Ages” in Sector F-19. Base 800 Points. Says it can amplify sound waves into concussive force… It might be great for morale or blowing out eardrums. ]
There were only a few Survivors who would want such a thing, and as expected, one of them imdiately replied.
[ Jillian: That harp sounds tempting, Kael, I’ll take a look later. For now, at Sector E-3, “Ironleaf Foundry.” They’ve got blueprints for a Modular Siege Model. Base 1,500 Points. Cos with upgrade slots for heavy artillery and heavy shielding. ]
[ Asad: Also, for those who cook — Sector A-10, “Gourt’s Gambit.” Rare spices from pre-Apocalypse vaults. So of them are extinct plants and even spices. Base 100 Points per set. ]
[ Jake: Spices are nice, but I just stumbled across a fully functional Hoverbike engine. Sector G-6, “Gorge chanics.” Base 1,000 Points, current bid 4,400. This is quite interesting… Maybe consider adding them to Warden Units or smaller crafts that could carry them? ]
This suggestion from Jake didn’t co from nowhere. He always wanted to beco a ch Pilot, but due to his compatibility, the most he could use was an exosuit.
Because of that, he wanted to assist in order to make them a lot better.
[ Chris: Oh ho, Jake, you’re not the only one with vehicle parts. Sector F-12, “Gearhead’s Graveyard.” They’ve got a True Coil Drive Core. Not sure if it’s working, but the vendor swears it only ‘malfunctions when stared at too hard.’ Base 100 Points. No one has made a bid yet. Maybe it’s just trash. Anyway, if you have good appraisal skills. You may want to visit this junkyard—No, graveyard. There might be treasures here. Furthermore, they’re all cheap! The base prices here don’t exceed 400 Points! ]
This was certainly an interesting shop. After all, many of the stalls and shops were selling items with a base price exceeding a thousand.
If this Gearhead’s Graveyard was indeed selling items cheaply, then it might be worth a visit.
Shane took note of its location as he decided to visit it later.
[ Liam: For the collectors — Sector H-8, “Marrow & Marble.” They have a sculpted dragon bust carved entirely from compressed bone. Looks ceremonial. Base 800 Points. Also claims to boost Spirit Regeneration if placed in an enclosed room… ]
[ Reylin: You’re all so fast… There’s already a lot of information posted. I will visit those places soon. Let share that Sector D-4, “Solar Shard Armory.” This shop’s sunsteel longsword actually glows brighter under moonlight. Don’t ask how that works. Base 900. Current bid 2,500. ]
Reylin, the previous Clan Leader of the Blood Talon Clan, had fully integrated into the Eclipse Revenant Clan already.
Just like that, dozens of posts scrolled past as mbers shared their finds, each one marked with coordinates and sotis even updated bids…
The chat was alive with excitent, and Shane couldn’t help but remind them not to spend too much ti on chat and just find the items they needed.
Still, Shane was happy…
This was exactly why the Clan thrived—everyone kept each other inford, and no opportunity was wasted. In a place like the Market Bazaar, information was more valuable than gold.
He took one last look around The Gear Vault, scanning for anything else worth noting before heading out into the noise and chaos of the Bazaar once more.
***
As he moved around, Shane confird that not everyone in this part of the bazaar was selling weapons.
Shane wandered past a row of rchants hawking food, drink, and trinkets.
An old woman behind one stall was flipping skewers of what looked like oversized shrimp…
A sign proclaid: “Abyss Prawns – Fresh from the Coastal Rifts!” She waved a skewer toward Shane.
“Son… Co here… Only five points for three skewers! Tender and won’t try to bite you back!”
Just like what he recalled from the previous Auction Event, the food didn’t have to be paid for by placing a bid.
Everyone could just do a buyout using the BidLink to get them.
Seeing the hardworking woman who was probably in her sixties, Shane decided to purchase one.
“Alright… Five points, right?” Shane said as he took three skewers and paid with the BidLink device.
As soon as he tasted the shrimp skewer, he couldn’t help but appreciate its savory taste.
After all, they have a limited supply of fish. They all ca from the Fairy Realm, and even if they tried started their fish farming in Springriver Manor, it wasn’t a large-scale project yet.
“Ma’am, is it possible to get more of these? I an, can you supply with these oversized shrimp?” Shane cautiously asked, since it would seem as if he wanted to know her business secret.
Thankfully, however, the old woman didn’t think that it was rude!
Instead, she was happy that Shane asked about it.
“It must’ve tasted really good! I knew you’d appreciate it… I can help you with that… My son’s the one giving supplies. No one wants them since they don’t look good because of their shells. But I’m sure that they’ll be popular soday.”
