Chapter 827: The End of the Vampire Lord

Shane’s Heaven’s Wrath was from his Tattoo Mark called Stormlord’s Brand.

As he triggered his Stormpiercer Rifle and his Heaven’s Wrath, the shot didn’t just strike Statham, it detonated.

The projectile punched through the weakened Blood Sphere, creating a path of lightning straight into Statham.

The resulting explosion slled like burned blood as the Vampire Lord faltered.

The shock destabilized the Blood Sphere completely, and it no longer protected the other Vampire Knights around him…

These Vampire Knights had then beco vulnerable to the Reaper ch Fra’s attacks!

Indeed, with the Shield broken, the Reapers went from suppression to slaughter.

Their targeting converged on the remaining Knights.

Mini cannons and spirit rounds tore through their remaining defenses…

As he felt that the sniper would attack once again, the Vampire Lord roared…

He was hoping that this sound wave attack wouldn’t be blocked by any more of the Floating Fortress’s barrier.

Soon, he attempted one last gamble. He cast a wave of blood-sorcery!

He suddenly beca a form of blood liquid and went straight up toward the fortress’s base…

He was aiming to cloak himself in mist and slip through the wrecked Barrier as he dissolved into a swarm of blood-forms.

The plan might have worked if not for the Reapers’ targeting!

They all just fired a concentrated burst right through the dispersing blood, scattering the mist and igniting the remaining sorcery into harmless embers!

Statham reford his body as he couldn’t take any more damage from that suppression fire…

Then, for a mont, he glared directly at the fortress, and Shane t that stare…

However, at this ti, Shane was already using his Telekinesis.

Statham was completely unaware when he saw Shane, the latter had already delivered one of his precious items…

As soon as the plasma bomb was detonated, the Vampire Lord took it and tried to block with everything he had.

He almost seed capable of surviving the blast, but as he was thrown to the ground, the plasma bomb’s explosion followed…

It shook the fortress a little, but it wasn’t too much.

‘A race change item…?’ Shane clenched his fists. He had seen countless crystals before—Beast Cores, Essence Shards, even mutated Zombie Hearts—but this was sothing else. A Divine Crystal wasn’t just power. It was legacy.

Still, Shane could tell that the ch Pilots were looking at him, confirming the kill or not…

Their scanners were still tracking the dispersing ashes as if wary the Vampire Lord might reappear.

But the system never lied. Statham was gone.

He imdiately inford everyone about this through their open channel.

“He’s dead… I got the confirmation, everyone… Good work.” Shane said, and everyone finally heaved a sigh of relief.

This was what they were waiting for.

“Hahaha! We did it!”

“The nasty bloodsuckers are finally dead!”

“No more Vampires…”

“Does it an that the Silver Weapon’s sale would drop because of this?”

The pilots wondered aloud as they all celebrated the death of the Vampire Lord.

As for the last question, Shane wasn’t sure about it either.

Shane then closed the loot window.

For now, he didn’t bother to inspect every single piece of equipnt or skill sphere.

There would be ti for that later. Right now, he had more pressing matters, the people who had risked their lives on the ground.

The Floating Fortress shifted as Shane adjusted its course toward Tessa’s location.

Slowly, the massive structure descended closer to the ruined city outskirts where Tessa and her scouts had led the thirty-four survivors.

Soon, the elevator descended…

“Bring them up,” Shane ordered.

Then, Tessa gave a signal, and soon the survivors, guided by scouts, were ushered onto the platform.

They looked like ghosts.

Thin, pale, hollow-eyed, they barely had the strength to walk, and a few collapsed the mont they set foot on the solid surface of the lift.

Their malnourished fras spoke louder than words.

As the lift rose back into the Fortress, Shane had already summoned the dical team. Although Anna was not here, they still had a few dical practitioners with complete kits in their hands.

“Begin full checks. Prioritize wounds and infection scans.” Shane instructed.

The dics moved quickly.

Each survivor was scanned for injuries, and most importantly, signs of zombie bites or viral contamination.

Soon, Shane felt relieved within the hangar as initial checks ca back clean.

A few cuts, bruises, and lash marks were treated imdiately.

Healing patches were applied, and even small doses of energy tonics were given to stabilize their condition.

The change was instant.

The mont they realized they were being treated with free food, tears welled in their eyes as they tasted real food again.

For now, Shane remained silent, just watching for a while. He wasn’t here to be praised by the group… He wanted to make sure they felt safe first so he could get more information from them…

His presence had, of course, attracted so attention…

“Rest easy. You’re safe now,” Shane said…

No one spoke, but Shane continued.

“Tell about your situation. How long were you held? Did you see what else they were building or preparing?”

There was silence for a mont… Then, an older man stepped forward.

“We heard that they were preparing sothing deeper… a ritual beneath the city. Sothing that required blood, our blood. They said it was ant to open a gate.”
