Chapter 875: Earth-Type
The Southern Gate was quiet after the last attack of the Zombie Lords and the swarm of Corrupted, Bloodmark, and Infested-type Zombies.
They were tired…
Even if they had work to do in order to repair the walls or remove the debris all over the place, they weren’t talking…

The ground was still stained from the earlier battle, and the broken remains of Warden Units were piled near the repair zone.

Shane walked up to him and scanned the area as he replied. “This gate’s too important to leave to chance. I’m worried that we’ll be facing not just four but six Zombie Lords later on…”
“I hope not… That would be too much. I’m sure other shelters would’ve collapsed already with four Zombie Lords at once.” Kain muttered.
Shane nodded as it was true.
Hunting Zombie Lords requires at least a group of Level 50 Survivors working together.
After all, only after reaching that level would you gain a huge improvent in your stat. Aside from that, the Ascension Quest would also be given at that level, and once completed, a Survivor would gain enormous changes in physique, survivor’s skills, and stats…
Kain sighed as he looked at his team. “We’ve got twelve Super Soldiers here, forty Warden Units still functional. The rest are in pieces. Eight Mk.V Turrets are still online, and the Fla Towers are holding. But if another Lord shows up…”

“Obelisk is charged?” Shane asked.
“Eighty percent…” Kain replied. “We just used it a couple of tis now… We’re holding it for a real threat.”
Shane nodded.
He walked along the barricade, checking the turret placents and the firing angles. Everything was in place. The Mk.Vs were synced to Cloud’s targeting system, and the Fla Towers had been refueled…
They did well maintaining it…
Then, the Warden Units were also spread evenly, covering blind spots and fallback zones.
The Survivors were quiet, but alert…
So of them glanced at Shane as he passed…
Of course, seeing him in full Bio-Armor gave them a boost in morale…
He didn’t say anything, but his presence was enough.
Kain followed him as he inford Shane about their battle style and how they were able to deal with the swarm of Infested Zombies…
“The infested types were nasty… They’re like Spitter Zombies that explode with stench, so make sure to avoid them after killing one. It’s not really a threat for anyone with a high Strength Stat, but it’s a bit uncomfortable.” Kain reminded.
“Got it… I still have Aura Sentinel with . How about yours?” Shane asked.
Kain exhaled as he checked his belt pouch.
“We already used them all up,” he said. “The Aura Sentinel Tokens. Every last one. We had no choice. The last wave nearly broke through.”
Shane nodded and opened his inventory interface and retrieved twenty of his extra tokens with Aura Sentinel Effects.

“Distribute them to your frontliners,” Shane said. “Keep two for yourself. You’ll need them if a Lord shows up.”
Kain nodded and took the tokens. “Thanks. This’ll help.”
For the next few minutes, Shane continued inspecting the defense line.
The Warden Units were running diagnostics. The Fla Towers were topped off… The Mk.V Turrets were synced and tracking movent beyond the walls…
Then, the alarm sounded.
The siren was heard all over the shelter…
Soon, Cloud gave them information about the Zombies…
