The revolver’s shot passed through the smoke…
The bullet easily streaked toward the leader of the group, and even if he couldn’t see Shane’s figure, he could tell that there was danger.
He raised his arm, and a barrier that covered a huge area ca into existence.

The round ricocheted harmlessly, but the force made him stagger. This wasn’t a normal revolver after all…
“Spread out!” the leader ordered
The mbers of the Overlord Clan didn’t hesitate and moved swiftly.
They weren’t amateurs… Each one had clawed their way through the apocalypse, reaching levels 45 to 50. Furthermore, their talents were honed, and their skills were at least level 7 to level 10 already.
Unfortunately for them, Shane was thirty levels higher. His stats in strength, agility, and vitality dwarfed theirs. And with the Calamity Set and his protection tokens, it was simply impossible to win against him without cheating or using so perfect strategy to fight against his set of Talents…
Christian, the Gunlord, opened fire.

The minigun resounded, unleashing a hail of bullets that shredded the sand and tore through the smoke. Suppressive fire forced Shane to move, but his Calamity Mantle blurred his outline, distorting visibility. Bullets whizzed past, missing by inches…
He was untouchable!
Shane fired back with his revolver…
One bullet struck Christian’s shoulder, staggering him despite his Iron Grip talent.
‘Ohhh? You have high evasion or sothing?’ Shane actually aid for the man’s head, but for so reason, he missed despite his Armant Expert boost in his accuracy…
Nonetheless, it was just a small matter for Shane…
He continued emptying his revolver…

Another grazed his thigh, forcing him to anchor into Gunbreaker Stance to stabilize.
From the left, a woman raised her staff.
Shane had no idea what kind of talent she had, but from her outfit and armor, he could easily tell that it was
Then, flas erupted, forming a wall of fire to cut off Shane’s escape route…
‘I’m not planning to escape though…’
From the right, a man with twin daggers vanished into the smoke.
He seed to be an Assassin-type Survivor as he reappeared behind Shane while slashing upward.
But Shane’s Calamity Greaves boosted his jump height, and his agility let him twist even while in the air! The dagger strike missed, and Shane’s revolver shot again. The assassin was blasted backward with his armor scorched.
‘Nice armor…’ Shane thought as he realized that his revolver’s firepower was no longer enough. He had to switch his weapon.
Shane holstered the revolver. “Enough.”
He drew the Moonveil Manablade… Suddenly, a wave of mana surged along its edge. His aura flared.
[ Swordmaster’s Domain ]
The battlefield shifted. Within ten ters, every enemy felt the oppressive weight of his sword mastery. Their evasion was reduced, and their movents slowed.
Just like that, Shane descended in their midst, and this made them hesitate to fire their guns or use any of their projectiles!
He swiftly charged to the nearest figure with his sword!
The female fire mage raised her staff and then conjured a fire shield.
However, Shane’s strike cleaved through it, since the Mana Edge could slice through the barrier! She could only scream as the blade cut across her chest, sending her sprawling.
Another survivor attacked with his warhamr.
Even if Shane didn’t use his Scouter Lens, he could tell that the man’s talent was similar to Titan’s Strength, Super Soldier, or Berserk Body.
His blow could surely shatter stone. But Shane’s Calamity Plate Armor absorbed the impact!
Bang!
With its effect, it even reflected fire damage back into him. Flas engulfed the man, forcing him to retreat.
A sniper took position from a distance as he needed to shoot him without hurting his allies.
Unfortunately for him, his movents weren’t stealthy enough, and Cloud was able to monitor his position…
His shot pierced the smoke, aid at Shane’s head.
With Cloud’s reminder and his Skill called Death Glimpse… He easily avoided it…

This Skill was really good, but it’s difficult to level up.
After all, it wasn’t a normal skill… It was one of his tattoo skills!
It was Raven’s Eye tattoo that was on Shane’s left forearm… The ability may not seem that great with his many detection skills and Cloud’s existence, but he liked how it could help him sense any type of attack coming at him.
Unfortunately, the only way to get its level higher was possibly improving the tattoo mark or sothing similar.
“Not bad…” Shane muttered as he saw that the sniper’s aim was perfect… His accuracy was not reduced by his Talent at all…
Nonetheless, with Shane’s Calamity Mask, which revealed stealth enemies and boosted perception. He flicked his blade, sending a mana slash upward.
The sniper’s scope shattered, and his eye was blinded by the blast.
Another survivor raised chains as his weapon…
Suddenly, the chains wrapped around Shane’s legs, glowing with suppression runes. Shane could’ve avoided it, but there were a few throwing knives that he had to avoid…
Shane was not bothered, though…
His vitality and strength was too high.
“You want to challenge my strength?”
He concentrated on his body as his muscles tensed… Soon, the chains snapped like twigs. He then charged forward with his blade that carved through the chain‑wielder’s chest!
Christian finally recovered after getting shot several tis, unleashing [ Suppressive Barrage ].
Bullets rained down, forcing Shane to dodge. But his Veiled Steps and his agility was too high. He closed the distance in seconds.
He activated [ Domain Sever ].
For fifteen seconds, his sword mastery surged. Every swing extended into a cutting aura, doubling his reach.
He slashed once, twice, thrice…
The assassin tried to Shadowstep again, but he was cut in half before he could disappear again!
The fire mage raised flas, but he was also cleaved apart.
The man with the titan strength swung his hamr, but he didn’t even get close before he got split in half by the aura.
Realizing that Shane wasn’t their opponent, the leader imdiately opened his ergency scroll…
“Shit… I’m saving this for a Zombie Lord, but… You’re courting death!”
