Golden vital qi churned in the air, and Lu Yuan stood at the eye of the storm. The aura pouring off him eclipsed anything he had ever shown before. He had beco a god of war, domineering and peerless.
Zhou Yunqiong retreated again and again, her face growing pale. She had already unleashed her true strength. The Ji Clan's True Phoenix Art was already circulating to its absolute limits.
At this point, she was supposed to be stronger than a Venerable King, and only a Sage could hope to stand against her. Thanks to her formidable bloodline, she could crush those on the sa stage of evolution as her, except for the top Rankers of the Outer Cosmos.
Zhou Yunqiong had absolute confidence in her own strength. That was precisely why she had ultimately chosen to fight Lu Yuan. He had slain a Sage, yes, but they were being suppressed by the Separation of Heaven and Earth.
Even if she couldn't defeat him, she could at least put up a fight, couldn't she?
However, it seed that she had been too naive. From the mont they clashed, Lu Yuan's domineering aura told him everything she needed to know about her odds of winning.
"Lu Yuan, since you've decided to be ruthless to , don't bla for doing the sa." Zhou Yunqiong was furious. She had never imagined that he would go for the kill from the very beginning. It was just a little sche, but he refused to give her any rcy on account of their history.
She raised her hand and channeled power into the jade hairpin.
Buzz!
A buzzing noise reverberated, and Sage-level energy poured out of the jade hairpin while emanating fierce killing intent. The jade hairpin was a Sage Weapon, and it was a terrifying weapon now that it was activated.
At the sa ti, she circulated the True Phoenix Art once more, playing both of her trump cards at once. Dazzling light engulfed Zhou Yunqiong, and violent waves of energy billowed out, causing the very air to tremble and hum.
Zhou Yunqiong was indeed formidable. Any ordinary Venerable King would stand no chance against her. No wonder the four beast kings were completely suppressed, even though they were fighting together against her.
Unfortunately, her opponent was Lu Yuan.
Despite facing two trump cards, Lu Yuan looked as unconcerned as always. In response, he sent a single punch forward. He did not even employ a divine art or make use of the Primordial Dragon Breathing Technique.
Even against Lei You and the others, he remained formidable. A Sage Weapon was powerful, but its wielder could not truly unleash its power.
Lu Yuan's approach to combat was straightforward—he'd simply crush his opponent's techniques with his overwhelming brute force.
BOOM!
Lu Yuan's every punch carried his will. His golden vital qi transford into a boundless sea of gold, engulfing the surroundings. The jade hairpin trembled under his power, and even the will within it was being suppressed.
Zhou Yunqiong trembled and stared at Lu Yuan with horror written across her face. It felt as though she were facing so terrifying beast. The force behind each of his punches was like the wrath of a true dragon. His fist was truly unstoppable.
Left with no choice, she recalled the jade hairpin and focused all her strength on defending against Lu Yuan's relentless attacks. Unfortunately, she had still underestimated Lu Yuan.
BOOM!
A thunderous boom erupted as a punch struck true. The golden vital qi around them churned like molten magma, and a cataclysmic explosion akin to a hundred thousand volcanoes detonating at once occurred.
Zhou Yunqiong coughed up blood. She could no longer control the Sage Weapon, and it fell to the ground. She flew away like a kite that had its string cut.
"How is this even possible?! The gap between us is this vast?!" Zhou Yunqiong was truly stunned, unable to comprehend what was happening. She overestimated Lu Yuan's strength and gave everything she had, but she was still outmatched.
At this point, it beca clear to her that he wasn't even fighting her seriously, yet she was still being suppressed. A Sage Weapon and the Ji Clan's True Phoenix Art couldn't even raise her strength to a level that would allow her to withstand a re punch from him.
She couldn't understand it. Was the gap between them really this imnse?
On the other side, Lu Yuan had no intention of stopping. He took another step forward, and his aura grew even stronger.
"Protect the Young Miss!" Uncle Zuo roared. With a pale face, he rushed forward and rallied the Zhou Family's subordinates behind him. The young miss was the Zhou Family's hope, and she had to stay alive.
However, Lu Yuan did not even spare them a glance. His organs rumbled, and a blazing sun manifested behind him. The next mont, layers of overwhelming energy radiated from him.
The surrounding temperature soared as Lu Yuan's re aura crushed everything nearby into a pulp.
Splat!
Five subordinates of the Zhou Family literally exploded, and their blood sprayed across the ground.
The current Lu Yuan was strong enough to fight even unsuppressed Sages. With all his techniques at his disposal, he could even slay them. These people were indeed elites, but they were only at the Unfettered Realm at most. Forget fighting back; they couldn't even approach him.
Despite being the strongest among them, Uncle Zuo was forced to retreat continuously. At this point, his face was deathly pale, and blood stread from his orifices.
Upon regaining her footing, Zhou Yunqiong's heart was imdiately gripped by terror at the sight unfolding before her. She couldn't care less about the others, but Uncle Zuo was her most loyal subordinate, and it was clear that he was going to die at this rate.
"Lu Yuan, do you truly intend to make enemies of the entire Zhou Family and ?!" she exclaid, hoping to stop Lu Yuan.
However, Lu Yuan remained silent and simply took another step forward in the air.
With a re will on his end, his aura descended on Uncle Zuo and the remaining subordinates of the Zhou Family.
BOOM!
Then, they exploded into a mist of blood, including Uncle Zuo.
They were deader than dead.
The gap was simply too vast; there was no bridging it. At this point, Lu Yuan could truly be considered Invincible Beneath the Stars. How many people could withstand even a single blow from him?
The four beast kings revealed no surprise at the sight. They knew all too well that once Lu Yuan had made a decision, nothing could change his mind. As expected of the strongest Awakened, he was peerless and domineering beyond asure.
"Lu Yuan, you've gone too far!!" Zhou Yunqiong clenched her fists, and all the energy inside her erupted at once. Despite her fury, however, a twinge of regret stabbed her heart.
Why had she even sched against Lu Yuan? Why had she not tried to befriend him from the very beginning?
How wonderful would it be if the Zhou Family could make use of soone as powerful as him!
There was also sothing she couldn't understand. How had he risen to such heights when she had always looked down on him?
"Oh? Is that so? Well, I haven't gone far enough yet," Lu Yuan said, staring at Zhou Yunqiong. He couldn't care less about what she was thinking, as it was all aningless.
From the mont she had used Winged Celestial God to sche against him, everything was decided. If one were slapped in the face, would one simply accept that slap and let the perpetrator go?
Lu Yuan took a single step and appeared before Zhou Yunqiong.
His face was ice cold as he said, "It's your turn."
