"The Sage Realm."
Feeling the power coursing through him, Lu Yuan's eyes glimred with delight.
To be precise, he had reached the sixth stage of evolution—the Void Sage Realm. The Void Sage Stage was one of the three sub-realms of the Sage Realm, and it ant he had truly stepped through the gates of the powerful.
In every conceivable way, his soul and his body had reached an extrely high level. The union between them was flawless. This was known as "the unity of spirit and flesh". "We've followed your instructions, King Lu. We've spread the word that you were gravely injured. They've more or less started to believe it. As a result, things have beco more chaotic. More and more invaders are descending as we speak.
"By our estimates, there are already a hundred thousand of them on Earth," Elder Yun replied, laying out everything that had happened in careful detail.
When the beings from the Outer Cosmos caught wind of the news, they began stirring up trouble. Several races and clans had already stepped forward, testing the officials. So even entertained the idea of moving into the supercities.
The supercities were ho to mostly ordinary civilians. While many people had embarked on the path of evolution after the Global Awakening, they still represented only a tiny fraction of the total human population.
The officials were working on a systematic way to help ordinary people beco an Awakened. Lu Yuan had proposed that, but it needed enough ti to be successful.
The invaders relocating into the supercities ant that they would beco a threat to the ordinary people. They were truly despicable.
"King Lu, now that you've erged from seclusion, shall we begin?
"I've gathered a great deal of intelligence. I know which beings from the Outer Cosmos have been colluding with certain factions behind the scenes. With the right arrangents, we can imdiately deliver a devastating blow to them," Elder Yun asked, killing intent pooling in his gaze.
It was one thing for invaders to threaten the civilians and destabilize society, but for certain financial consortia and capitalist groups to do the sa was simply unforgivable. It was tantamount to a betrayal, as they were supposed to be on their side.
"There's no rush. It's still not enough." Lu Yuan shook his head after hearing the report. "If we're going to do this, we'll do it thoroughly. They do like causing trouble, don't they? Then, let's stick to the plan. Keep fanning the flas, make it more convincing, and wait for certain people to co to us."
"That way, we won't have to waste ti hunting them down. The key here is patience. This is just the beginning, after all."
His plan was straightforward. He wanted them all to reveal themselves, preferably including the Zhou Family. He never really had the ti to deal with them before, so this was the perfect opportunity to eliminate every lingering threat.
His words drew a round of uncertain glances from those around him.
When they thought about it, however, his logic was sound.
The main threats had been identified, but who could say for sure whether there were even more clandestine organizations in the shadows?
The beings from the Outer Cosmos were nothing. What truly mattered were the traitors among their own people. They were the most despicable of all and had to be dealt with sooner rather than later.
"I understand. I know what to do now." Elder Yun nodded. His temperant was fiery by nature, and he could never tolerate injustice. His years in a position of authority had also given him the ability to read situations clearly.
Striking now could yield so results, but the problem could resurface later.
In other words, solving everything at once was the best approach here.
Elder Ji and the other top officials nodded in agreent to Lu Yuan's plan. The execution, of course, would be up to them. For people of their caliber, it was nothing particularly difficult. It was just a matter of controlling public opinion.
As the representatives of the nation, they could easily do that.
Moreover, Lu Yuan becoming a Sage had made them even more confident. It was also the best form of reassurance.
