With one powerful swing, Atom plunged the blade into the Tyrant’s core!
Everything happened so quickly as the Tyrant ch convulsed, in a sense that it started jerking violently as if it was trying to throw Atom away.
However, that was not enough against Atom, who held tightly to its opened chest.
The Tyrant tried one last desperate attack... It raised its claws, but its movents were already sluggish at this point.
Even without Kai’s instruction. Atom attacked once again to end this!
Atom’s blade slashed and severed its neck!
Soon, the giant collapsed, crashing into the ground with a thunderous impact!
Boom!

"Ahhh..." Kai was stunned after seeing the ssage.
Another first elimination of its variant!
"Aweso... I hope there are more variants of you out there." Kai muttered as he certainly liked the reward that followed.
Although he had eliminated Tyrants before, he was actually able to find different versions of them.
They were the Field Tyrant that has a Furnace Core, the War Tyrant that uses Flathrower, and this one, the Hooker Tyrant with impossibly hard claws that could destroy anything its clamped on.
"Wait..." Kai paused as he finally noticed that the Weapon Blueprint that was previously an option had disappeared and beca Survivor dals instead!
"Perfect..." Kai muttered as he saw Atom standing over the wreckage with its blade resting at its side.
Soon, Atom went to check the Tyrant’s core and stayed there for so ti.
Once again, Kai had no idea what Atom was doing, but he just let it be for now.
In any case, every ti Atom does this, it would get even stronger.
For now, Kai selected the Survivor dal for the reward.

anwhile, Jonas and the rest of the wall defenders finally relaxed. They had survived another attack.
Then, as he was thinking about what Atom was doing, he heard soone call for him.
"Jonas! Drive the other truck! We will be looting a lot of things from that Tyrant!" Wallace shouted excitedly as he headed to get one of the armored cars. Then, he rembered sothing and called out to Mila, who had just co out of the ss hall.
"Hey, Mila! Get Victor here!"
"Got it!" Mila replied.
Jonas, on the other hand, was only surprised for a mont before he also replied.
"I’m on it... Wait for !" Jonas replied.
Despite not having a license, he knew how to drive, so there was no issue at all.
Kai heard all of this and allowed them to work on it.
"Go... Secure the area. Make sure to follow Victor’s instructions," he ordered.
He knew that they were about to loot sothing good from this Hooker Tyrant. With that in mind, Victor, their only trustworthy chanic, must lead the scavenging to avoid destroying the important parts of the Tyrant unit.
"I guess I can just visit Haven-62 a little later," Kai muttered to himself. Of course, he didn’t forget both Farrah and Alfie, who were probably waiting for him since yesterday.
He really planned to go there this morning, but the appearance of the Hooker Tyrant stopped him from doing so.

A few monts earlier, while Atom was clashing with the Hooker Tyrant near the shelter, the two Assault Teams led by Claire and Ralph had been scouring the surroundings...
Of course, the distant shrieks and deafening impacts of the Tyrant carried across the land.
Everyone in the teams froze for a mont, realizing their shelter was under attack.
They even considered stopping their mission since their shelter was definitely their priority here.
But before they could turn back, one of Ralph’s n stumbled into a strange clearing at the edge of the cetery. The air felt heavier there, as if there was an unnatural presence.
"Captain... I think I found sothing," the scout called out and moved forward.
The mont he stepped deeper into the territory, however, the ground shifted. From the shadows of the tombstones and collapsed mausoleums, mutants began to crawl out!
Their terrifying forms erged in droves.
The team froze.
"Ahhh! Sorry, captain!" The scout shouted.
"You..." Ralph was shocked.
This was both joyous and terrifying news. Joyous, because they had finally found the Gene Trader, hidden in the cetery, just as Kai suggested.
Then, it was terrifying, because the one who had stepped inside wasn’t a Foreign Survivor or from Earth, but a native resident of this world... and that mistake had activated the Trader’s trap.
Dozens of mutants surged forward, clawing at the intruders.
"Hold the line!" Ralph shouted, raising his revolver. He fired into the nearest mutant and it hit its head!
Thud!
The creature collapsed, but more pressed in from every side.
Claire’s team rushed to assist. She swung her hatchet in a clean arc, splitting the skull of a mutant that had leapt too close.
"Don’t let them surround us!" she ordered.
In just a few seconds, the battle took its turn...
Hatchets were used as the fighters hacked down mutants at close range!
Unlike the Sentinels, their blades could easily cut through flesh and bone.
Then, after a few monts, revolvers were fired again and again!
Roar!
One mutant charged at Ralph with its claws extended.
He then sidestepped and buried his hatchet into its chest!
Thud!
[ 350 Experience Points. ]
After confirming the kill with the system notification, he kicked the body aside and fired at another that tried to flank him.
Bang!
At this point, even his n fought desperately with their revolvers.
Claire, on the other hand, moved and cut down one mutant after another just by relying on her physical strength... Even without the possession, she was actually strong enough to hold her ground!
In just a few monts, she eliminated a few more mutants alone...
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The cetery beca a killing ground. Mutants fell one after another, and soon, their bodies started piling among the broken tombstones.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the assault slowed.

Soon, the last mutant collapsed with a revolver shot to the skull...
"Done! Do not approach the Gene Trader again!"
