Just a few monts ago, within New Haven‑45, the atmosphere had beco really lively.
Victor was in his simple workshop when it happened. Specifically, he was tinkering with a new trap using his chanic Talent when the glowing text appeared before his eyes.
He froze, then laughed.
"Hah! Finally! It’s over... and we actually made it. Guess I can finish this trap tomorrow."
Nearby, Ralph and Claire had just finished dismantling a Sentinel Unit...
"Not bad for the last fight."
Ralph holstered his revolvers and nodded. "Not bad at all. I hope I get rewarded with a beer or sothing."
Claire chuckled. "That’s impossible. Where can we even get a beer?"
anwhile, on the walls of the shelter, Wallace and Jonas slumped against the battlents, exhausted. For ten days, they had stayed here almost without rest, and now the silence felt relaxing...
Jonas muttered, "I can’t believe we can finally breathe."
Wallace nodded as he closed his eyes. "We held... that’s all that matters."
As he said this, he imdiately went to check the rewards.
Then, in the gardens of the shelter, Aurora, Elena, and Marissa hugged each other tightly. They had spent most of their ti tending crops, keeping insects away, and ensuring water supplies didn’t fail.
Their work had kept the shelter fed, and now they could finally relax.
Aurora whispered, "We did it... the event is over."
Elena smiled through tears and nodded. "Finally..."
Marissa also laughed softly. "Check the rewards imdiately..."

Just like what the notification said, the rewards had been distributed!
’So I made it into the top ten... I guess that’s not surprising...’ Kai muttered as he focused on his system...
Since he was the first to reach Level 20, it ans that he had really perford well in this event.
Soon, the rewards flowed into his inventory one by one.

Kai felt his level surge upward, his Health and Spirit Points refilling instantly.
’Ohhh... I leveled up...’ Kai mused as he confird it with another notification from the system.

He didn’t think too much of it at the mont as he focused on the rewards!
The crates, MRE boxes, and even the jamr! They were all incredibly precious.
As for the Mutagenic Serum, it wasn’t that great. However, Kai had a feeling that it was actually perfect for him.
’Alright... I really hope we find a nearby Gene Trader.’ Kai thought...
Then another notification ca... This ti, it was for the top 10 Perforr Rewards!

He was familiar with the Skill Awakening Token, but the Title Upgrade Chance was new. Still, from its na, he could guess that he could select one of his Titles and upgrade them to their higher version.
In any case, he opened his inventory and froze.

Kai imdiately guessed that it was the Gene Weapon. It was quite similar to the item Sera and Althea described.
As he tapped the icon in his inventory, he was able to get so information about it.

He had been expecting this... After all, his actions during the ten‑day siege had gone beyond the standard objectives, and it was sothing he had seen after the last Global Event...

As a matter of fact, he had been waiting for the rewards coming from these Hidden Quests since he knew that they would provide Survivor dals!

Kai exhaled slowly, satisfied with the additional rewards.
