If they stayed here, they would spend precious ti repairing walls and patching holes.

Without a doubt, it would take a long ti, and they could beco vulnerable to another attack... either from the chanical Army or from other survivors who needed more resources.

If they moved, however, they would face the unknown, but perhaps gain a better foothold...

Kai exhaled slowly. Everyone was waiting for his decision, but he couldn’t decide imdiately, not when several lives were hanging in the balance.

"We have two choices... Rebuild Haven‑45, or search for a new location while the A.I. Army is quiet. What’s your opinion?"

The survivors went silent as they just turned to him, waiting.

Being Rank 1 on the leaderboard wasn’t just a title, it also solidified his position as their leader. Whether he wanted it or not, they would follow him...

Indeed, they just wanted to be with Kai, who had a very unusual way of obtaining resources.

"What should we do? I’m cool with whatever you decide, leader..." Victor replied.

" too... I trust your decision, Kai. No one will bla you. But if you’re not here, I’ll probably want to go find another place," Claire voiced out.

Kai sighed.

He was unable to answer imdiately but then, he shared his thoughts. "If we rebuild here, we’ll need to reinforce everything, steel beams, timber, stone blocks, all of it. It’ll take ti, but we know the terrain. We know how to reinforce or defend it... However, this place isn’t really the best area to build a shelter. Sentinels co here from ti to ti to dump their waste materials, and those things can be dangerous to us."

Although they could scavenge a lot of things here, they could be discovered by the A.I. Army, and they might even contract so sort of disease from the rotten wastes. After all, even if they had consud the Gene Serum, it only strengthened their physique and gave them resistance to various diseases, but it didn’t grant immunity to sickness.

Everyone nodded after hearing this. They knew about the downside of staying here. Thankfully, there was also rit in moving...

"If we move, we’ll need to scout the area carefully, but it has to be quick... The Army may be quiet now, but that won’t last forever," Kai said as he looked around at the cracked walls and unstable ceiling.

"This might be our only chance to move away. The chanical Army spent most of its resources and soldiers during the Global Event, but they’ll recover. Once this break is over, they’ll probably sweep this area again."

"I can agree to that..." Victor added. "This place is also getting too small because we collapsed so of our tunnels to fight back."

The Survivors who had been silently listening also nodded.

Kai smiled seeing this. "Yes... Haven‑45 is too small. Even if we rebuild, it won’t hold more than a few dozen people comfortably. We need space, room for storage, defenses, and growth. If we stay here, we’ll always be cramped... and always vulnerable."

The survivors listened intently as Ralph finally spoke to share his thoughts. "And don’t forget the waste. The Sentinels dump their broken parts and other waste here. That’s why they keep coming back. This place is a graveyard for machines, and graveyards attract other scavengers. The longer we stay, the more likely we’ll be discovered again..."

Kai turned to Ralph and nodded. He had certainly been thinking the sa. Although there were so benefits to staying here, they could face far more problems.

In any case, with his talent, they wouldn’t have to worry about resources. They just needed to work for him, and they’d get Gift Packs in exchange.

Terrence, who had no idea about Kai’s ability, felt a little worried. Still, he already considered himself part of this group and spoke.

"We need better conditions. A shelter with clean water nearby, natural barriers we can use, and enough space to build defenses that won’t collapse under pressure. Sowhere we can expand, not just survive day to day."

"Yes... That’s why we have to move now... Does any of you have a different opinion? If you want to stay here, I won’t stop you." Kai announced.

No one spoke up to object. The silence itself was an answer, every survivor understood that Haven‑45 was no longer a ho they could rely on.

Kai nodded once.

"Then it’s settled. We’ll move. First, we need to scout the area above us. We can’t march blindly into the unknown."

He scanned the group, weighing their strengths. "Russel, you’re our best scout. Wallace, I heard you just ntioned that your Swift Stride just reached Level 3, we’ll need your speed if things go wrong. And I’ll go myself. The rest of you will stay here and prepare supplies."

"I’ll join you! I will be helpful!" Terrence added as he was confident with his Pathfinder Talent.

Kai thought for a mont before he nodded.

"Very well."

Just like that, Kai used his Talent and opened three more Stealth Gift Packs.

Their contents were a camouflage suit, night vision goggles, a suppressor, and a smoke grenade...

The suppressor or silencer wasn’t really fit to the revolver, so they were just being collected and stored sowhere.

The unaware survivors gasped as so of them had no idea about Kai’s ability.

However, seeing that the others were calm and not questioning anything, they just kept their silence.

Indeed, at this point, no one questioned Kai’s skills anymore.

Even if his ability should have been limited, as he ntioned before, none of them cared. He had secrets, yes, but those secrets kept them alive.

Still, for Samantha, Terrence, and the others, the shock was real, they finally had an idea about Kai’s mysterious talent!

No wonder he’s the leader.

Still, none of them voiced their comnt. Respect and trust had already taken root.

Kai adjusted his own camouflage suit, then exhaled.

"Prepare yourselves. We leave at dawn."

Later, as the camp settled to rest, Kai returned to his tent.

At last, he focused on his Enhanced Gift Pack Bundle!
