If the petition among Humanoid Intelligent Life Forms was for survival resources, then the chasm between Beastly Intelligent Life Forms and Humanoid Intelligent Life Forms was a fundamental species divide. Encounters between them almost invariably resulted in a fight to the death. And the truly frustrating part was, equipment dropped by one type could not be used by the other. Beastly Intelligent Life Forms had equipment exclusive to them, just as Humanoid Intelligent Life Forms had their own specialized gear, and these were not interchangeable. Before entering the Tower of Eternity, one would rarely encounter Beastly Intelligent Life Forms, so there was no immediate need for typical Professionals to learn about them.
Chen Mo briefly skimmed through a few pages about Beastly Intelligent Life Forms before focusing on the information regarding Humanoid Intelligent Life Forms. These were the type of opponents he was most likely to encounter before entering the Tower of Eternity. After browsing for an hour, Chen Mo discovered that Alien Races were as numerous as the stars in the sky, far too many to be easily understood. Just learning about these would take a significant amount of study.
He hadn’t delved deeply into the subject before. Now, after a closer look, Chen Mo realized just how many diverse Alien Races possessed extraordinary abilities. Some could naturally produce deadly toxins. Once they became Professionals, this ability was fully retained, and their innate toxic power was considerable. Some had bodies naturally resistant to high temperatures; after being Professionals, they possessed strong innate resistance to fire-attribute damage. Some could liquefy their bodies, resembling a puddle of water. If they hid in water, they were very difficult to detect without careful perception, possessing a powerful inherent stealth ability.

And these abilities, being inherent to each Alien Race, could not be detected by the Heavenly Dao’s detection ability. One could only understand them through personal observation and inference. He had previously thought the campus wasn’t very crowded, but upon reaching the arena, Chen Mo realized it was teeming with people. The moment he teleported to the arena entrance, Chen Mo saw quite a few people inside.
Stepping into the spacious arena lobby, four main areas—East, South, West, and North—were prominently displayed before Chen Mo. Students were bustling with various activities in these four areas. Chen Mo saw some students engaged in duels, sparring to hone their skills and peting for academic credits. Others were preparing for petitive challenges, hoping to achieve victory and earn academic credits. His interest piqued, Chen Mo decided to explore the various areas of the arena.
He first headed towards the eastern area. Here, several spacious platforms were set up, upon which numerous students were fiercely peting. They displayed various bat techniques, flashes of blades and sword shadows crisscrossing in the air, creating a tense and exciting atmosphere. Around them, a crowd of students cheered enthusiastically. Chen Mo noticed that everyone on the platforms fought under simulated conditions: 100 Life Value and 1 Attack Power. It seemed they were peting purely on bat skills. After observing for a short while, Chen Mo realized that the bat skills of the participating upperclassmen were clearly a league above his own. If these upperclassmen had been the robots he faced earlier, he would likely have suffered an even more miserable defeat.
Continuing to the southern area, he found a Skill challenge zone that also had a petitive aspect. Here, the greater the precision in using various Skills, the higher the evaluation score one could achieve. Chen Mo saw students practicing and improving their Skills. Some were executing swordsmanship techniques, others were unleashing Spells, and various support-type Professionals were there, challenging the timing of their Support Skill releases.
