These two Awakened didn’t even have the most basic disconnection tools.
"So, your lives are in my hands now. I don’t think you’re the iron-blooded type, so why don’t you hand over the Superstar Alliance intelligence you should disclose?

Hope for survival ignited in both their eyes as the Awakened codenad Chang Niu asked, "How much do you want?"
Bai Pu replied, "In the last world, I captured an Awakened nad ’Phantom.’ He was of the Level 3 Normal Template and paid over three thousand Spiritual Points for his life. Both of you are Level 4 Elites; four thousand points each isn’t unreasonable, is it?"
"I don’t have that much!" they both exclaid in unison.
Four thousand is not rely asking for an exorbitant price; it’s like a giant serpent swallowing an elephant! The problem is, neither of them had such a fortune.
Bai Pu was prepared and said:
"So, you can provide with intelligence, focusing on the Superstar Alliance’s operations in this world or evidence of their cris. Ordinary intel can offset three thousand Spiritual Points. If the intel is valuable enough, one piece can offset even ten thousand Spiritual Points."

Night Wings didn’t team up with Hidden Snake; instead, he led a team alone. His objective was to assassinate Qin and sabotage Bai Pu’s career change task.
Night Wings possessed short-range flight abilities and excelled in the skill [Soaring Technique]. He was rumored to have another formidable transformation ability, but the two had limited contact and never saw Night Wings use it.
The other, codenad "Golden Butterfly," was a Spiritual Talent Awakened with the Profession of Illusionist.
Regarding evidence of Superstar Alliance’s cris, the two couldn’t access any substantive evidence and rely heard rumors of their shady dealings with so foreign power.
After hearing them out, Bai Pu, convinced they were withholding nothing, did a quick ntal calculation and cheerfully reached a conclusion.
"Chang Niu, right? Your intel translates to twenty-two thousand Spiritual Points; you still owe eighteen thousand. As for Mr. ’Iron Hook Insect,’ your intel is less valuable and too redundant, so it’s only worth fifteen thousand, leaving a debt of twenty-five thousand."
The two Awakened’s pleas were in vain; they dejectedly chose to pay off the Spiritual Points. For the deficit, they could only use tools to settle the debt.
They had no choice; their lives were in others’ hands, leaving them at their rcy.
Phantom, who previously bought his life from Bai Pu, was acquainted with "Chang Niu," so Chang Niu knew of Bai Pu’s "reputation." Therefore, whether selling intel or paying money, he was more straightforward. The other Awakened "Iron Hook Insect" hesitated and suffered a loss, having to pay an additional seven thousand Spiritual Points.
In the end, Bai Pu extracted a total of twenty-four thousand Spiritual Points from the two! Of which, Chang Niu contributed no less than eighteen thousand.
According to Chang Niu, he amassed this in the real world and intended to use it to enhance equipnt in the passing settlent interface during this Spirit Realm exploration.
Iron Hook Insect was nearly twenty thousand Spiritual Points short. He painfully gave Bai Pu two drops of [Honey Wax] for equipnt sealing—these tools could reseal Blue and Dark Blue Equipnt for Awakened to use after Spiritual Ability Resonance.
In terms of value, [Honey Wax] is hard to gauge but likely doesn’t exceed the worth of a 5 Blue Armor, at most worth five thousand Spiritual Points.
Two drops of Honey Wax combined still weren’t enough to cover the shortfall.
Fortunately, Chang Niu was quite generous and took out a B-level Enhancent Card to help Iron Hook Insect settle the balance.
He had thought it through; after this massive expense, surviving would be lucky enough, no need to think about enhancing equipnt—the enhancent card would be of no imdiate use.
"You two have a pretty solid bond,"
Bai Pu’s impression of the Superstar Alliance’s Awakened improved slightly.
"Can we leave now?" Chang Niu cautiously asked.
"Before you leave, you’ll need to sign a contract, notarized by the Spirit Realm Will," Bai Pu stated. "The contract stipulates that I spare your lives, and in the world of [Flesh and Blood Plague: Aberration], you cannot make a move against or Qin anymore. Otherwise, I can’t release what might beco future enemies."
"With our strength, we shouldn’t pose any threat to you..." Iron Hook Insect hesitated; if he signed, it would easily expose them in subsequent battles that they had previously submitted to Bai Pu.
Chang Niu, wanting to kick him in frustration, quickly said, "Sorry, sorry, he’s just confused. We’ll sign, and we’ll cover the notarization fee ourselves!"
"Just going to let them go?" Qin, resting on Bai Pu’s lap, looked up and asked.
