With the fall of Gustav, this war has finally co to an end.

Duke William severed Gustav’s head (a replica corpse head created by the Spirit Realm Will) and had General Cwieg hang it high on the battle banner’s flagpole.

"Heroes of the Expeditionary Army, the war is over! We have won! The flower of freedom will bloom across all of Europe!"

Duke William delivered an impromptu rousing speech.

Bai Pu now focused more on his own gains. Besides, the Swedish Rebel Army under his command mostly comprised forr Blood Ring Mutant Soldiers, now controlled by Qin’s Curse Seal, so there was no need to worry about morale or military spirit, and Bai Pu didn’t feel the need to force himself to make a speech.

He left this mont in the spotlight to Duke William.

Cheers echoed to the skies.

It was only at this mont that Duke William had the chance to speak with Bai Pu.

"Mr. Fu Lei, initially we were at a disadvantage in this war, but your surprise attack from behind the Blood Ring Fortress turned the tide to our favor."

Due to Bai Pu’s rapidly rising status, Duke William’s attitude towards him had beco more respectful, with a hint of equality.

Bai Pu modestly thanked him and asked, "What plans do you have next, Your Grace? Will you stay on the Nordic Peninsula?"

Bai Pu was asking this on behalf of Qin.

Originally, Qin and Bai Pu were mbers of the Divine Luo Expeditionary Army camp, but now they had broken away to form their own faction!

When Gustav was alive, due to the external threat, the two factions could coexist peacefully.

But with Gustav’s death, the threat from the Blood Ring dissipated, and the honeymoon period between the two factions would soon end.

The interests of the Swedish Rebel Army and the Divine Luo Expeditionary Army were not aligned. If Duke William took this opportunity to continue attacking Sweden’s provinces, he would beco an opponent to the Swedish Rebel Army.

After all, the Scandinavian Peninsula is the holand of the Swedish Rebel Army.

Fortunately, Duke William’s attention was not focused on this.

The blonde duke clearly understood Bai Pu’s implied aning and smiled, saying, "The Northern Europe is too barren, sparsely populated, and ravaged by the Blood Ring. I am not interested in the land here."

Bai Pu quickly grasped Duke William’s mindset and smiled, "Your Grace intends to return to the European Continent to pursue your ambitions."

"Indeed, the German nation has been divided for too long. Even before forming the Expeditionary Army, I realized that we needed to establish a unified German Empire. Many thought I was joking at the ti, but only I knew how serious I was when I said it."

"Under Qin’s leadership, Sweden will be a loyal ally to Brandonburg." Bai Pu also set his own terms.

Qin was originally the daughter of the previous Lord of Brandonburg, a close relative of Duke William, and her experience as a court advisor in Brandonburg naturally would not oppose an alliance with Brandon.

The relationship between the Divine Luo Expeditionary Army and the Swedish Rebel Army was thus determined between a few words between Duke William and Bai Pu.

After setting the overall direction, the conversation beca much more amiable, and they talked about so trivial matters. Duke William was curious about Bai Pu’s infiltration into the Royal Alchemy Academy, while Bai Pu was interested in the details of the frontline.

During their conversation, Duke William ntioned soone: "Dior, that lady nad Charlotte who appeared with you, has left the battlefield."

Charlotte was the alias of Blood Spider in this world.

"Since the Duke has an impression of her...it ans she must be on the path of discovering her potential," Bai Pu said.

"Yes, I feel she has a profound understanding of the Blood Curse Hunter profession. It just so happens my ancestors left behind a legend of the ancient Dragon Hunter Hero, which ntioned the advancent of the Blood Curse Hunter, so I gave her a few pointers."

"Dragon hunting?" Bai Pu was a bit surprised, "Does this world have dragons?"

"It’s sothing from several hundred years ago, no one can be sure. However, indeed, in the past decade, dragons have appeared, right at the site of teor’s Descent, where the Flesh and Blood Plague initially spread."

Duke William smiled, "Ms. Charlotte is going to the legendary Starfall Islands to hunt a dragon. Once she accomplishes this feat, she will gain the legacy of the Dragon Hunter Hero. In exchange, the dragon skull she hunts will beco part of my collection."

The Starfall Islands are located north of the Baltic Sea, close to the Scania Region.

Originally, there were no islands in that area, only a shallow sea. The fall of a scarlet teor caused a massive terrain change, forming a series of ring-shaped islands.

The creatures on these islands were the first to bear the brunt of the force of evolution, so the native beasts and plants on the islands evolved to be extrely powerful, even the marine life in the surrounding seas was affected.

From the perspective of the Awakened, the Starfall Islands are essentially the advanced area of the Flesh and Blood Plague world.

This advanced area is relatively small and insufficient to support being an independent, complete dinsion, so it exists within the crevices of the Flesh and Blood Plague: Mutations world, much like a small pocket within a large pocket.

Bai Pu didn’t expect Blood Spider to have directly triggered a job change quest and could go to complete it.

He thought, the Starfall Islands are a paradise for Mutant Monsters and Mutant Plants, perhaps precisely the most suitable place for Blood Spider’s job change.

Blood Spider had invested all her talent points in diligence and combat, neglecting social talent, making her unsuitable for job change in a world populated by humans.

Bai Pu had no plans to head to the Starfall Islands to help Blood Spider with her job change.

On one hand, the job change quest is the Spirit Realm Will’s trial for the Awakened, and supporting by one’s own strength will earn a better evaluation. On the other hand, Bai Pu adheres to the principle of equivalent exchange, and helping Blood Spider with her job change is not part of the agreed-upon exchange content.

In fact, the socially inept Blood Spider was able to obtain job change clues from Duke William, partly due to her battlefield achievents, but also likely benefited from Bai Pu’s influence.

If she had started from the bottom, it would not have been easy to gain Duke William’s attention and guidance—from the beginning, Duke William only took a second look at her because she appeared alongside Bai Pu, noticing her as a Blood Curse Hunter and recognizing she was stuck at a bottleneck.

"The Starfall Islands are quite remarkable. I heard from Qin that when Gustav’s flagship passed by the Starfall Islands, he seed to have found so kind of mysterious rune, enhancing his own power," Duke William said.

"Qin never ntioned it to ," Bai Pu said.

"Well, it’s a sad matter for her, after all, that was when the Princess ca into contact with the cursed teor and beca the Mother of the Plague," Duke William conveyed.

Bai Pu frowned slightly; from Duke William’s description, it seed that the Starfall Islands would be a place he must visit in the future.

This is because to unlock each layer of Bai Pu’s Heart of Evolution Talent Tree, he needs to collect a so-called ’Divine Rune’.

Could the ’Divine Rune’ ntioned here be the ’mysterious rune’ Gustav obtained at the Starfall Islands?

Bai Pu ford a question mark in his mind and planned to check it out later.

He didn’t intend to go now because he had just leveled up rapidly from Level 3 to Level 5, greatly increasing his attributes, but his Combat Specialization and Skill Level had not kept pace, and he had not yet fully developed his potential.

The Starfall Islands, as an advanced area, are undoubtedly very dangerous.

Bai Pu has heard more than once that when advancing from interdiate to advanced, the power of natives undergoes a quantum leap! The difficulty of the Advanced Spirit Realm far surpasses that of the low to interdiate levels.
