Ovi respectfully saluted and nodded at Elder Vannes before leaving the hall.
Elder Vannes frowned, his dissatisfaction evident as he glanced in the direction Ovi had left. "Great Elder, since when do we need a human's help?"
"Don't be hasty. I've read the letter left by Elder Farouk before his death. Fang Heng indeed has profound knowledge of magic arrays. Without his prior assistance, we might not have been able to save the sacred tree sapling this ti. With Elder Farouk's unexpected demise, Elder Yuri is the only one left in the tribe familiar with magic arrays. Relying solely on him wouldn't suffice."
