"Is that so? I don't see much difference."
Fang Heng looked at Pavao, who seed reluctant to continue bringing out branches of the sacred Tree, appearing unenthusiastic.
They had agreed to co for a trade, but it seed it ended up being fruitless.
However, he could not leave empty-handed this ti. He had to get sothing beneficial from them.
If practical benefits weren't available, he could at least gather so intelligence, right?
Cutting to the chase, Fang Heng turned to Pavao and asked, "Since we're talking about cooperation, I have a few questions I'm curious about and would like answers from you."
"What questions?"
"What's the deal with pollution?"
Pavao looked puzzled, casting several glances at Fang Heng.
He felt that Fang Heng should understand pollution better than he did.
"The specifics of how it happened, I don't know much about. I only know that during that period, there was a fierce war among the tree spirit tribe. Suddenly, monsters appeared, posing a great threat to our tree spirit tribe's existence. In that holy war, the entire tree spirit tribe paid a great price to seal the monsters again."
Listening to Pavao's account, Fang Heng pondered silently.
At first glance, it gave him the feeling that so kind of demonic seed accidentally entered the World of Forests, and was ultimately completely sealed by the ancient sacred trees of the tree spirit tribe?
"What about the ritual for cultivating the tribe's sacred trees?" Fang Heng continued, "I heard that your tree spirit tribe will determine the next leader through the cultivation ritual of the sacred trees. When will this cultivation battle take place?"
"Specifically, there is no set ti for the cultivation battle," Pavao shook his head, explaining, "Once a tribe confirms they are capable of passing the test left by the primogenitor sacred tree, they can propose to the previous leader tribe to enter the Sacred Realm of Gods. If the sapling cultivated passes the test of the ancestor sacred tree, it can be considered as having won the battle of sacred tree cultivation battle."
Fang Heng squinted his eyes.
The Sacred Realm of Gods?
It seed like a place he had never heard of before.
Fang Heng asked, "Let guess, the key to the entrance to the Sacred Realm of Gods is guarded by the soul tribe?"
"No, there's no key. The Sacred Realm of Gods is temporarily guarded by the Soul tribe. The soul tribe is the previous leader and bears the mission of guarding the Sacred Realm of Gods."
In that case...
It seed that forcibly entering wouldn't be difficult?
Fang Heng pressed on, "Then how do you determine when the sacred tree has cultivated to a certain level?"
"There are no specific criteria for judgnt; it mostly relies on the experience of each tribe. If the primogenitor sacred tree fails to approve the trial, the sapling will remain weakened for a long ti. Therefore, without complete certainty, no one will easily enter the Sacred Realm of Gods."
As soon as the words fell, a ga hint quickly appeared on Fang Heng's retina.
[Hint: The player has triggered a special mission-Assessnt of the tree spirit tribe in the Sacred Realm of the Gods.]
Mission na: Assessnt of the tree spirit tribe in the Sacred Realm of the Gods.
Mission description: From Elder Pavao of the Root tribe, you have learned so details about the cultivation battle of the sacred trees. Perhaps you can attempt the assessnt through the following mission.
Mission requirents: If you believe that the sacred tree of the vampires has reached a certain level of cultivation, proceed to the Sacred Realm of the Gods to undergo the assessnt left by the ancestors of the tree spirit tribe.
Mission reward: Follow-up mission.
Fang Heng's heart skipped a beat as he looked at the mission notification.
There it was!
Mission triggered!
Winning the cultivation battle of the sacred tree was a significant part of the hidden main storyline mission.
Earlier, he was pondering how to accomplish it, but now there was a mission hint.
Fang Heng thought about it for a mont.
For the ti being, Abe Akaya could not achieve a qualitative improvent.
Why not just go try the Sacred Realm of Gods right now?!
If it did not work out, so be it. At worst, Abe Akaya would enter a period of weakness for a while!
He could afford to wait.
Anyway, five days later, when the pursuers from the Holy Court caught up, if he couldn't complete the main storyline mission, Abe Akaya would have to flee. That would give him enough ti to recuperate.
Fang Heng raised his head and asked, "Where's the entrance to the Sacred Realm of Gods?"
"In the 'Inner World'," Pavao replied. "They say the Sacred Realm of Gods has been reduced to ruins. The Soul tribe occupied and rebuilt it as soon as they entered the 'Inner World'. We three major clans have only surveyed the periphery. None of us have ventured inside."
Fang Heng stroked his chin and glanced at Pavao.
Caught off guard by Fang Heng's suspicious gaze, Pavao couldn't help asking, "What are you up to?"
"I'm quite interested in what's inside. Since we have so free ti now, care to join for a look inside?" Fang Heng proposed.
"Why? What's so interesting about that place?" Pavao asked skeptically.
"Who knows, maybe there's sothing useful left behind in the Sacred Realm of Gods," Fang Heng replied.
"Are you out of your mind?" Pavao's initial reaction was that Fang Heng had lost it.
To think he wanted to venture into the Sacred Realm of Gods guarded by the Soul tribe?
Was that place even accessible? Did Fang Heng think it was a zoo for sightseeing?
But then again...
Why not give it a try?
"Anyway, the Sacred Realm of Gods is guarded by the soul tribe. If we run into trouble halfway, they'll probably have a headache dealing with it, won't they?" Fang Heng reasoned.
"Moreover, who knows, we might actually find sothing good there."
In Pavao's subconscious, he didn't think Fang Heng would pose a significant threat to the Sacred Realm of Gods.
Seeing Pavao's changing expression, Fang Heng felt he had persuaded him. He licked his lips lightly and said, "So, what do you think? Now's a good opportunity. Why not take over to take a look?"
"Now?"
"My subordinates are currently dealing with the Wood tribe and the Leaf tribe. I believe the soul tribe will lend a hand, and now is the perfect ti for them to be distracted," Fang Heng explained, glancing at Pavao with a hint of provocation. "What do you say? Or are you backing down?"
"I'm just concerned about the uncontrollable risks," Pavao nodded. "Personally, I have no objections, but I'll need to report to the Great Elder."
Fang Heng gestured casually with his hand and turned towards the edge of the grove.
"You have five minutes. I'll wait outside."
Once Fang Heng had departed, Pavao gathered his hands in front of him, forming an imprint, and activated a remote communication mirror.
"Great Elder."
Watching the image of the Great Elder of the Root tribe in the communication mirror, Pavao respectfully nodded and briefly recounted his conversation with Fang Heng.
After hearing Pavao's report, the Great Elder of the Root tribe stroked his beard, pondered for a mont, and nodded. "Indeed, I just received word that there's a large-scale conflict between the Federation and the Wood tribe and Leaf tribe. If they encounter trouble, the Soul tribe will likely provide reinforcent."
"In that case, Great Elder, regarding Fang Heng's plan..."
"You can give it a try. Follow him and see what he intends to do. If necessary, you can offer him so assistance. But rember, this matter must be kept hidden. We must not expose ourselves."
"Yes! I understand, Great Elder."
After closing the communication, Pavao left the depths of the forest and joined Fang Heng, who was waiting outside.
Fang Heng turned to him and asked, "How did it go? Did you report it? Can we proceed?"
"The Great Elder has agreed, but I cannot reveal my identity openly."
"Of course, I understand."
