Proust looked at Mu Qingxin and asked, "You don't oppose it?"

"Based on previous experiences, this type of targeted module modification is very strong in the early stages—it can have a snowball effect, with the number of worm bodies increasing as the battle progresses. However, in the late stages, it becos vulnerable to counterasures."

"By fusing multiple wings, the Disaster's damage potential can be significantly enhanced. More importantly, the cost of our breeding and recruitnt, which was already low, will beco almost negligible. We can summon them thousands of tis more, can't we?"

Mu Qingxin said nothing in disagreent, rely responding, "You can try."

Proust nodded, then took a few more steps forward, "Then let's add this as well."

"Bang!"

The massive flesh cocoon in front of Proust exploded, revealing a creature resembling a giant beetle erging from within.

"SS-level module," he explained, "it has demonized armor, which greatly enhances spell resistance and corrosion resistance. The downside is that, while its magical defenses are formidable, its physical resistance is diocre, and it weakens the main body's physical resistance, clashing with certain abilities."

"Self-detonation, division, plus magical defense, combined with the corrosion power of the Perdition system and the low-cost recruitnt ability of the soul system—don't you think it's perfect?"

Mu Qingxin lowered her head, lips pressed together in thought for a mont before raising her gaze, "I'm not sure, but it's worth trying."

"Good. Help with the fusion," Proust said as he slowly turned and walked toward the Nether River, his body gradually subrging into the river's water.

"Glub, glub..."

A series of bubbles rose from the river, popping and rippling across the surface.

On the riverbank, the Nether River seed to take on an eerie, gelatinous consistency, slowly oozing up the shore. It crawled toward the mutant worm body, eventually engulfing it, and pulling the creature into the river's depths.

...

Death Realm.

Corrupted Bone Swamp.

Fang Heng was riding on the back of a Bone Dragon high in the sky, leading the Dark Clan's main force as they advanced through the battlefield. Every Disaster nest they encountered was swiftly destroyed by the Bone Dragon's corrosive dragon's breath, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake.

Suddenly, Fang Heng saw the signal from the front line—special hand signals from the Dark Clan warriors. The Bone Dragon swarm ceased their offensive and began to circle in the sky.

Fang Heng, still caught up in the exhilaration of the battle, frowned and asked, "What's going on?"

"It's a special hand signal used by the Dark Clan in battle, indicating that the enemy ahead is retreating. We need to stand by for now."

Huh? Retreating?

Did they lose the fight, or have they been completely worn out?

Fang Heng felt a twinge of suspicion in his heart.

Indeed, looking down, he saw that the surrounding area was no longer seeing any new Disaster creatures joining the battlefield.

At first glance, it seed as though the Disaster's assault had temporarily stalled.

Was it really that simple?

It seed that the Disaster wasn't as formidable as the Dark Clan and the undead council had described...

Fang Heng quietly pondered.

Kotal, unaware of Fang Heng's thoughts, looked at him and nodded. "The Commander has issued orders. The Undead Bone Dragons will work with the summoning creature teams to continue advancing and clear the Nests of Disaster along the way. The follow-up teams will establish a forward camp here."

"Mr. Fang Heng, today's operation may be coming to an end. We should land first."

"Mm, alright."

Fang Heng nodded in response and began controlling the Bone Dragon to descend toward the ground. As he did, he opened the stone slab he carried with him to check his contribution points.

While he was scrolling through, more ssages from the undead council appeared on the slab.

The undead council had advised him against getting too involved with the Disaster, Ouroboros.

The Disaster was beyond their ability to counter, and it possessed a contagious nature through an unidentified ritual, making the risk of infection a real possibility.

The safest option was to abandon the pursuit.

Fang Heng put away the stone slab and controlled the Bone Dragon to slowly land.

The Dark Clan teams that followed began setting up a forward camp in the nearby area.

The Dark Clan, who lived in the Death Realm, didn't require the sa troubleso food supplies as humans. The construction of the camp was focused solely on enhancing defensive facilities and setting up the Nether Crystal Core.

For the Dark Clan, this blue crystal was more like "food." After activating the Nether Crystal Core, it helped accelerate the recovery speed of their soul power and allowed their injured bodies and wills to heal and regenerate.

During this wave of operations, Fang Heng had essentially been trailing behind the main force, doing little more than following along. He gained over five million contribution points simply by cooperating with the Undead Bone Dragons in battle.

It felt almost like getting sothing for free.

Now, it was ti to see what he could redeem with those contribution points.

With the battle temporarily settled, Fang Heng, under Kotal's lead, headed to find the Dark Clan quartermaster to exchange for supplies.

After explaining his intentions, the quartermaster raised his hand, and a list of exchange options materialized in front of Fang Heng.

Fang Heng imdiately sorted the list by price, from high to low.

Good fella!

The rewards were much better than he expected.

Academic advancent books, experience books, artifact weapons and equipnt, and even various blueprints for the Undead faction.

For Fang Heng, the most striking item was undoubtedly the Nether Crystal Core, a unique item of the Dark Clan.

One high-tier Nether Crystal Core was priced at a staggering one million contribution points.

This item had never been fully explored in the human world. According to Kotal, it could significantly enhance one's willpower, serving as a crucial support for the survival of the Dark Clan.

A high-tier Nether Crystal Core required a hefty one million contribution points to exchange.

Besides that, there were also various construction blueprints for the undead faction.

Vengeful spirit ceteries, zombie pits, corpse temples, and so on. Looking at the list, almost every building blueprint was of the highest tier.

Unfortunately, these blueprints were all one-ti consumables—each blueprint could only be used to construct a single building.

Fang Heng thought to himself that once he had more contribution points, he could collect more blueprints and bring them back to the modified Vampire Apocalypse, using them to transform it into a small-scale death realm.

After all, he had always had this idea and had already begun making modifications.

However, progress had nearly co to a halt.

Another thing was the Bone Dragon.

Given the current situation, with the death realm being threatened by Disasters, Fang Heng felt it wasn't the safest place. It would be best to teleport the Bone Dragons to the modified Vampire Apocalypse, ensuring their absolute safety.

After flipping through the exchange list multiple tis, Fang Heng found that there were no blueprints related to Dragon Grave Mountain veins.

The highest-tier blueprints were for Imperial Mausoleums, which, once constructed, would produce high-tier mausoleum guards.

The price was set as a small target.

Fang Heng couldn't help but stroke his chin.

How should he put it?

Compared to the building blueprints available in the Human World, these were definitely much stronger, but they were still far from the strength of the mausoleum guards in Empress Persephone's mausoleum.

Fang Heng frowned, wondering if perhaps his favorability rating wasn't high enough yet, and that he hadn't unlocked the ability to purchase higher-level items.

He turned to Kotal, and cautiously asked, "Kotal, can you ask them if they have the Dragon Grave Mountain vein blueprints?"

What?!

Kotal was stunned. He stared at Fang Heng for a long ti, completely dumbfounded.

What exactly was going on in this human's mind?
