Kotal glanced into the depths of the canyon passage and whispered, "Beyond here lies the canyon domain. It's said that there's a vast valley inside, where much of the perception is blocked, and many creatures that live there will attack on sight. It's very dangerous."
Fang Heng, upon hearing this, also looked up, gazing toward the deepening canyon.
In the distance, black shapes began to erge.
Kotal noticed the dark spots as well and said, "Those are Frost Warriors, reanimated shadow creatures influenced by the aura of the death realm."
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!!
The Frost Warriors moved at incredible speed on the snowy ground, and as soon as their forms appeared, they charged directly toward the group.
"Buzz..."
Tigranth's long sword let out a faint hum.
"Bang!!!"
With a trendous crash, Tigranth moved in an instant, smashing the two Frost Warriors at the front into nothingness.
Fang Heng's mind stirred as he observed the scene.
Tigranth was one of the commanders selected from the various empires of the death realm, chosen to fight against the Disaster on the frontlines.
He truly was a force to be reckoned with!
After a brief ntal calculation, Fang Heng roughly estimated Tigranth's strength to be at the Tier 1 level of a death knight.
It seed that Fang Heng had hitched a ride with a powerful ally.
He could relax a bit and just follow along.
As Fang Heng was lost in thought, his brow suddenly furrowed. In the distance, dense magic arrows shot toward them at breakneck speed.
"Protect them!"
Tigranth's face shifted slightly, and he called out in a low voice.
The next mont, a dark-colored magical shield appeared in front of Fang Heng and Kotal.
Tigranth's team imdiately scattered, darting forward in various directions.
It was then that Fang Heng noticed sothing—behind the cluster of Frost Warriors, a large number of serpentine life forms were slithering forward.
They had human heads and serpentine bodies.
The scene that Fang Heng witnessed at this mont was also transmitted through a stone slab to the instructors of the undead council, who watched with keen interest.
When they saw the monstrous creatures, a lively discussion broke out among them.
Cold Abyss dusa!
These creatures were another rare type of undead life form from another world.
The Cold Abyss dusa got its na due to its striking resemblance to the dusa from mythical stories.
By a stroke of chance, the Cold Abyss dusa had once been summoned by a demigod-level necromancer.
Contrary to so legends, while dusas were known for their petrification abilities, the Cold Abyss dusa had a different, far more chilling power—it could freeze anyone who t its gaze.
The freezing effect would deepen over ti, eventually freezing the target completely.
Once fully frozen, the dusa would guide the soul of the frozen victim into the death realm.
Moreover, the Cold Abyss dusa possessed the unique ability to fire magical ice crystal arrows.
It was a creature that combined both ice and necromancy attributes. Even more unusual, it was a ranged attacker, which was extrely rare.
Fang Heng hadn't expected to co across the habitat of the Cold Abyss dusa here.
A hint of gravity appeared in his eyes as he realized the significance of their location.
The ice crystal arrows released by the Cold Abyss dusa weren't particularly fast, but they had an incredibly strong tracking effect, able to adjust their trajectory mid-air.
"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!!"
The ice crystal arrows hamred relentlessly against the barrier that had ford in front of them. In no ti, a thick layer of frost covered the shield.
This was no easy foe to deal with!
The number of Cold Abyss dusas in the canyon was staggering, and they kept gathering, closing in from all directions.
Tigranth, however, seed unperturbed. He gave a derisive snort and imdiately led his team into the fray, charging toward the front line of Frost Warriors.
With their protection in place, Fang Heng wasn't eager to fight himself.
Moreover, he could tell that Tigranth's team was elite, even among the death realm forces.
The Cold Abyss dusa and Frost Warriors were formidable creatures, even in an advanced ga world. However, they hadn't yet reached the level of transcendence.
Tigranth, the commander, was more than capable of handling them.
Suddenly, Fang Heng raised an eyebrow.

Everyone knew that Fang Heng was once a part of Empress Persephone's inner circle, which was why they had taken the risk of bringing him here, hoping he could uncover so trace of her legacy.
And now, Fang Heng hadn't disappointed them.
"Where?"
Fang Heng pointed to a spot on the right, following his perception, "I'm not sure if it's a clue, but that's where my perception led ."
"Alright, let's go check it out."
The central area of the canyon was like a labyrinth. If it were anyone else, they would easily get lost in the winding passages.
Once Commander Tigranth had dealt with a group of enemies, he led the team back, and Kotal imdiately stepped forward to communicate Fang Heng's discovery.
"Lead the way."
Fang Heng nodded and began guiding the group toward the source of the Empress's lingering will.
Tigranth and the team ford a protective periter around Fang Heng as they moved forward.
Soon, they cleared several groups of canyon creatures they encountered along the way. As they ventured deeper into the canyon, the eerie silence enveloped them once again. The air grew colder, and the oppressive stillness seed to weigh down on them, adding an unsettling tension to the atmosphere.

The two Dark Clan mages in the group cast undead shields, enveloping everyone in a dark protective barrier to fend off the magical damage from the freezing wind.
Kotal resud translating Commander Tigranth's words to Fang Heng.
"We've now officially entered the deeper region of the Frozen Valley. The area is vast, and our perception is heavily weakened here. We can't stay for too long—at most, we have two hours before we must leave."
"Fang Heng, do you sense anything?"
Fang Heng nodded and said, "Mm, I sense the Empress's will calling us. It's just up ahead, not far from here. If we continue deeper, we should reach it in about twenty minutes."
"Alright."
Tigranth, hearing this, signaled the group to follow Fang Heng's lead and continue in the direction of his perception.
Before they could move forward, however, Tigranth's expression darkened, and he frowned.
"Be careful!"

In the next instant, dozens of white beams of light suddenly shot out from ahead.
