"Fang Heng, there's no need to be so polite. You've worked hard on this journey. We know you must be tired. Would you like to rest first, or...?"
"No need for rest, thank you, Teachers. Ti is of the essence."
Fang Heng lightly nodded and quickly began recounting everything he had seen and experienced in the death realm.
The others had already heard most of the events in the mausoleum from Tan Shuo and the other two. As for the following events, once they learned that the Empress' soul had scattered and heard Fang Heng confirm that he could control the Bone Dragon, the instructors could no longer hold back their excitent.
The hall imdiately erupted into a buzz of chatter.
The instructors couldn't help but whisper to each other, and their voices grew louder with every passing mont.
Even though they had guessed it, hearing the confirmation still made them thrilled beyond asure.
The Bone Dragon!
It was the Bone Dragon!
How could it not excite them?!
"Alright, everyone, let Fang Heng continue," Georgi, who was equally excited but still managed to restrain himself, said as he looked toward Fang Heng. "Fang Heng, could you give us a demonstration? Summon the Bone Dragon. This is extrely important for our undead faction."
"Here?"
Fang Heng looked around the council hall.
The hall was indeed large, but it was still a bit cramped for such a massive creature as the Bone Dragon.
"Alright, let's go outside."
Fang Heng, surrounded by a group of instructors from the undead council, made his way to the square outside the fortress.
On the square, Fang Heng used his perception to scan his surroundings.
After several days of hard work, the number of Bone Dragons bound to his soul had reached 378.
The number was still steadily increasing.
However, the rate of increase had started to slow down.
He had previously asked Kotal, and according to Kotal's estimates, the total number of Bone Dragons in the mountain range was around 500.
As the remaining Bone Dragons decreased, the rate of acquisition would naturally slow down.
But there was still ti to gather more.
Fang Heng naturally planned to exhaust the source as much as possible.
Thinking this, Fang Heng brought his hands together in front of him and ford a mark.
Skeleton summoning skill!
Whoosh!
The phantom of the magic array appeared in the air.
Accompanied by a powerful coercive force, the Bone Dragon flapped its wings and leaped out from the magic array, quickly soaring into the sky!
It worked!
It was the Bone Dragon!
Dragon clan creatures were generally massive in size, flying in mid-air and nearly covering half of the square.
Fang Heng controlled the Bone Dragon, and it slowly descended to the ground, remaining still.
Seeing the Bone Dragon with their own eyes, the expressions of everyone in the crowd were filled with exhilaration.
"Everyone, the news about the Bone Dragon must be kept confidential for now. This is a secret of the undead council."
"Understood."
The instructors nodded in response, their eyes still gleaming with excitent.
Several instructors from the undead council stepped forward to begin various tests on the Bone Dragon.
"Fang Heng, you can continue. After leaving the Dragon Grave Mountain range, what happened next?"
Fang Heng went on to recount in detail the events of encountering the Disaster. He then asked, "Does the undead council know about the Disaster?"
"Yes, based on your description and the information we've gathered through the mirror projection, the Disaster you're referring to is most certainly the natural disaster Ouroboros."
"Can you tell more about this Disaster?"
"Of course. From what we've learned, the Disaster is more like a special insectoid species. They possess trendous vitality and a unique ability for self-evolution. They can quickly adapt to and integrate the powers of the world they invade. They use the strength of the world to their advantage, then gradually take over and completely destroy it."
"We've had small-scale battles with the Disaster before, but without exception, we lost. The Holy Court also tried, and they failed as well."
"To this day, we still don't know the true purpose of the Disaster, but no world has ever survived under the shadow of the Disaster."
"Perhaps the death realm is the only one."
A mont of silence fell over the group.
Georgi nodded and continued, "From this, we can see that the strength of Empress Persephone of the death realm is powerful enough to have been the only known entity able to contend with the Disaster for so many years."
From what Fang Heng had described, it seed that the Empress had already perished, and the situation in the death realm didn't seem much better.
"The strength of the Disaster is extrely high. For now, we believe we can temporarily resist it, but over ti, the Disaster's abilities will continue to grow stronger until it overwhelms the Dark Clan."
Georgi seed to have already foreseen the impending destruction of the death realm. He sighed quietly and continued, "The undead council has also conducted so research on the Disaster. If you're interested, you can check out the relevant materials."
"Alright, thank you."
Fang Heng planned to review the relevant materials when he had the ti, especially since he had an inseparable connection with Ouroboros.
Aside from Ouroboros, Fang Heng continued to recount the events of his exploration in the Frozen Valley.
He went on until he reached the part about discovering the book in the ice soul left behind by the Empress. The undead council instructors couldn't help but gasp in shock.
What?!
It was actually an advancent book for God-level necromancy!?
One of the undead council's goals in exploring the death realm was to find the path to advancing to God-level necromancy!
And the key was hidden in the book left by the Empress!
The news suddenly progressed to such an important point, and the instructors of the undead council took so ti to digest it. After a brief mont, they began to converse in hushed tones.
"Fang Heng, we understand the situation now. You've worked hard on this mission. You should rest for now. We also need so ti to discuss the matter thoroughly. Personally, I am more inclined to focus on finding a way to break the ice soul's seal and retrieve the book hidden within it."
Georgi pondered for a mont before nodding. He then looked around at the others and continued, "I believe most of the other instructors share the sa view. However, we still need to discuss how to accomplish this goal."
Several senior mbers of the undead council also nodded in agreent.
The instructors knew well that ti was running out.
If the Disaster were to take over the death realm, not only would it be impossible to gain anything from the death realm, but even the passage to God-level necromancy would be permanently closed. At that point, necromancy might face a long decline.
"Alright," Fang Heng said, nodding heavily. Under Ji Xiaobo's lead, he went to the council's rest area to rest.
...
The next day, the undead council summoned everyone for another eting in the high-level hall.
All the instructors present were high-ranking mbers of the Necromancy Council, respected and esteed figures.
Fang Heng and the others were also invited to attend the eting.
According to Ji Xiaobo, the entire undead council had been holding a eting the previous night to discuss the situation in the death realm. They had waited for Fang Heng to wake up the following morning before inviting him and the others to join the official eting.
Georgi looked at Fang Heng with a warm smile. "Fang Heng, how did you sleep last night?"
"I slept well, nearly fully recovered. I'm ready to return to the death realm anyti."
"Good. The situation in the death realm is indeed worrying. We must act quickly."
