Fang Heng stepped into the Demon Suppressing Temple.
The large door behind him slowly closed on its own, powered by a magical array.
The interior of the temple was dimly lit, with only faint blue light emanating from the magical runes inscribed on the floor. To his right, a staircase led upward to an area where more magical arrays were arranged—an area he didn't need to enter.
Fang Heng walked forward slowly and arrived at the center of the temple's first floor, where he lowered his head to observe.

Fang Heng, well-versed in alchemy magic, instantly recognized the structure of the magical array on the ground.
To be precise, the floor was covered with a complex arrangent of multiple magical arrays, each one corresponding to a broken special space.

The two-headed monster had been imprisoned in the Demon Suppressing Temple for thousands of years, and over the long period of solitary confinent, it had lost all trace of its divine consciousness, becoming crazed and bent on destroying every living thing it could see.
It never expected to encounter soone like Fang Heng. One punch sent it flying, and still dazed and confused, it couldn't recover in ti. Suddenly, there was a halt as Fang Heng grabbed one of its heads, holding it firmly in place.
Fang Heng coldly uttered a word.
"God's punishnt!"
Boom!!!
In the next mont, blinding holy flas erupted, engulfing the two-headed monster and burning it to ashes.

Everyone looked up at the Demon Suppressing Temple in awe.
The guards who had accompanied Fang Heng were incredibly anxious.

Upon hearing this, the guard imdiately looked in the direction Hain pointed to.
Indeed, at the very top of the tower, there was a large stone disc. A closer look revealed that the disc was divided into several segnts, with a few of them flickering with holy fire.
"I apologize for my ignorance, Sir, may I ask what this is?"
"The Great Sage had planned for the Demon Suppressing Temple to categorize the demons into seven tiers, from 1 to 7. The most dangerous were the Tier 7 demons, which were the highest-level demons."
"Following the demon levels, the Demon Suppressing Temple was divided into seven layers. The most dangerous, the Tier 7 demons, were placed in the seven deepest special spaces."
"Moving upwards, there were 14 spaces for tier 6 demons, 28 spaces for Tier 5 demons, and so on."
"The large wheel you see was created during the initial construction of the temple. The seven central segnts on the wheel corresponded to the seven deepest special spaces in the Demon Suppressing Temple, where the Tier 7 demons were sealed."
The chief guard focused on the disk, counting carefully, his brow furrowing as he asked, "Sir, two segnts in the innermost circle are flickering with holy fire, does this an that two Tier 7 demons are sealed in the Demon Suppressing Temple?"
"No, you counted wrong."
Hain, the Army Commander, shook his head and corrected him, "It's five."

So it turned out that the absence of flickering holy fire in the wheel segnts indicated that a demon was imprisoned there?
The chief guard was startled upon hearing this, and then he looked up.
He saw that the stone slab wheel was covered with countless holes, and at a glance, only about one-tenth of them were glowing with Holy Light.
Hain remained silent.
When the Great Sage was still alive, the Demon Suppressing Temple had primarily served as a trial ground, offering warriors from the Holy Realm a place for practical cultivation and selection.
However, ever since the Great Sage had died, far too many demons with special resurrection abilities had been imprisoned here.
