Bishop Tami felt a sense of unease in his heart as the situation seed to be hidden and mysterious.
He sensed the presence of a conspiracy.
Bishop Tami was pondering whether he should send one of his trusted subordinates to the world boundary to observe the situation when suddenly, there was a commotion outside the door.
His thoughts were interrupted, and he frowned as he called out to the door, "What is it?"
A guard's voice imdiately ca from outside.
"Report, Bishop! There is an ergency at the Demon Suppressing Temple. The trial participant Fang Bai has successfully purified a Tier 7 demon. Commander Hain of the God's Punishnt Knight Legion requests your presence."
What!
Bishop Tami was shaken to his core. He quickly stood up from his chair, walked to the door, and opened it, staring at the guard and asking, "Is the information accurate?"
The guard nodded gravely, "Yes, Bishop, I was there at the square. I saw it with my own eyes. The holy fire representing the seventh level lit up on the stone slab."
"Let's go! Take there!"
Monts later, Bishop Tami hurriedly arrived at the Demon Suppressing Temple.
By then, the square's periter was already crowded with followers.
Seeing the Archbishop approaching, everyone parted to make way.
Bishop Tami walked to Commander Hain's side, secretly suppressing his unease, and asked, "Commander Hain, what is the situation now?"
"Hmm, not long ago, the holy fire representing the Tier 7 demon seal on the stone wheel lit up. It corresponds to Carlyle," Commander Hain said, pausing montarily before adding, "The 'Wrath' demonic seed."
Bishop Tami's heart skipped a beat.
'Wrath' Carlyle!
Carlyle was the strongest among the three demonic seeds imprisoned in the Magic Tower!
Bishop Tami looked up at the circular stone hanging outside the Demon Suppressing Temple and confird that the holy fire was still burning. He turned back and asked, "Where is Fang Bai? Hasn't he co out yet?"
"Not yet."
"Hmm? Not yet?"
Bishop Tami frowned in confusion, "Since he has successfully purified a Tier 7 monster, that ans the trial has been passed. He should have completed the trial by now. Why hasn't he co out? Could he have been severely injured?"
At first, Commander Hain also thought Fang Bai would erge from the Demon Suppressing Temple soon. That's why he had hurriedly gone to summon Bishop Tami, to welco the successor of the Great Sage together.
The idea was to use Bishop Tami's identity to secure the position of the Great Sage's inheritor quickly, to avoid any unnecessary future troubles.
But, after waiting for a while outside, the doors of the Demon Suppressing Temple still hadn't opened.
Bishop Tami asked, "Why don't we open the entrance to the Demon Suppressing Temple and go in to take a look?"
Commander Hain shook his head slowly and said, "The purification of the Tier 7 demon sealed within the temple is part of the trial set by our Sub-God Pillar's Demon Suppressing Temple. It's not the requirent of the Great Sage's trial."
Bishop Tami paused in thought for a mont, then suddenly understood.
"So, what are the requirents of the Great Sage's trial?"
Commander Hain was silent for a mont, sighing inwardly before shaking his head.
He was now filled with regret, a regret that had been gnawing at him for over three hours.
Why hadn't he asked more about the trial requirents when Fang Heng was allowed in?
"It's fine, we'll know eventually," Bishop Tami said, but then sothing ca to his mind. He turned to Commander Hain and asked, "Do you think the Great Sage's trial may require the elimination of all the Tier 7 monsters?"
"Perhaps..."
Commander Hain was uncertain, looking at Bishop Tami.
Their eyes t in the air, both seeing the trace of anxiety on each other's face.
Challenging seven Tier 7 demons continuously?
Too difficult!
In fact, out of the five demons imprisoned in the seventh level of the Demon Suppressing Temple, three were demonic seeds: Wrath, Sloth, and Lust.
In terms of power, the three demonic seeds were the weakest, with the 'Wrath' demonic seed being the strongest.
The other two demonic seeds were much weaker compared to Wrath.
The Holy Court could have thoroughly purified the 'demonic seeds' held in the Demon Suppression Tower, but they chose not to. They knew that while the demonic seeds could be temporarily neutralized through purification, they couldn't truly be eradicated. God's Punishnt only solved the problem for a ti, but the seeds would eventually resurface in new humans, costing the Holy Court even more energy.
What Hain and Tami were truly worried about weren't the demonic seeds, but the other two Tier 7 demons sealed by the Holy Court.
Confusion and Illusion.
No matter which one, their strength surpassed that of the 'Wrath' demonic seed, and both had indestructible power. The only thod that could fully destroy them was God's Punishnt.
However, Fang Bai had already expended a great deal of strength dealing with the Wrath seed. If he were to accidentally face either Confusion or Illusion...
It was hard to guarantee he would co out unhard.
Bishop Tami was deeply worried.
Although the Bishop faction and the Great Sage faction were not particularly close, he certainly didn't want Fang Heng to run into trouble.

What was that?
Commander Hain suddenly noticed a change in the holy fire on the stone slab and looked on with suspicion.
On the stone slab, the Tier 7 seal stone showed no change, but unexpectedly, a new holy fire sprang up from the outermost layer, which originally belonged to Tier 2.
"Strange..."
Bishop Tami murmured to himself, feeling that sothing was indeed odd.
What was going on?
They had already passed the trial for the highest Tier 7 demon, so why did that young man suddenly go back and jump into a lower-level trial?
None of them could make sense of it.
Bishop Tami turned to one of the guards who had escorted Fang Heng to the Mist God Pillar and asked, "You're Fang Heng's follower, right? Do you know anything about the trial he's undergoing?"
The guard's face was filled with distress.
In just over three hours, he'd been asked this question countless tis.
"Bishop, I really don't know..."

Inside the Demon Suppressing Temple, on the first level.
Fang Heng stepped out of the magic array that had sealed the Tier 2 demon.
"Done."
Dealing with SS-level demons was still easy. Fang Heng quickly selected three "lucky" demons, sealed them using sealing magic, and brought them back to the first level.
Next step.
He would return to the Zombie Apocalypse world and complete the sacrificial ritual at the Temple of Zeus.
"Abe Akaya, I'm counting on you."
Abe Akaya's voice ca through imdiately, and from the midst of the layers of vines, a teleportation passageway appeared.
The Holy Realm was a special area, and teleportation here required an additional 1500 tis the normal consumption. Even though Fang Heng had significant resources, it still made him wince a little.
But, in tis like these, he decided to bear with it.
Fang Heng closed his eyes and stepped into the teleportation passage once more.
Back in the Zombie Apocalypse, the followers of the Holy Court, whom Fang Heng had convinced to join him, were ready.
Surrounded by the believers, Fang Heng arrived at the center of the Temple of Zeus.
The believers imdiately began chanting as they began the first step of the sacrificial ritual.
While the ritual chants filled the air, Fang Heng took the opportunity to hand over the vessel of sacrifice that he had absorbed from the Holy Court's higher world to Abe Akaya, completing the dinsional level upgrade.
