The Federation soldier squad players had to speed up to keep up and chase after the Lickers.
Boyd, considering safety, cald down and signaled for the player team to slow down slightly and maintain formation.
Fortunately, the low-tier D-level bug nest area wasn’t large, so the teams didn’t get too far apart. They quickly arrived at the periter of the central mother spider nest.
From a distance, the periter of the mother spider nest was already surrounded by clusters of Rock Armored Gun Worms.

Seeing this, Fang Heng quickly stopped them.
"Wait, what are you planning to do?"
Boyd signaled his subordinates to pause their shooting and looked at Fang Heng, explaining, "Fang Heng, you may not know, but these crystals are known as crimson gemstones. Research has found that mutant worm creatures depend on these crystals to absorb energy and breed more insects."
"All known bug nests are attached to these crimson gemstones. If we don’t destroy them completely, the mutant worms might recolonize the crimson crystals and set up another bug nest here. We would have to co back and clear it again."
Boyd raised the gun in his hand, "So, smashing them is the simplest way to handle it."
"No." Fang Heng blocked Boyd’s way, "The crimson crystals are useful to . I’ll handle them."
"You?" Boyd frowned and said, "This doesn’t follow the prescribed clearing procedure. I need to consult with my superiors."
"Of course, you can contact your superiors, but until you get their response, please don’t destroy the crystals."
"Alright." Boyd hesitated for a mont, then lowered his gun, "But if I notice any signs that the mutant worms are recolonizing the crimson gemstones, I’ll destroy them imdiately."
It would take ti for the worms to recolonize the crimson crystals and transform them into another nest, at least three days.
There was no imdiate concern.
Boyd nodded, then contacted the headquarters through his communicator and said, "Fang Heng, I’ve reported the situation about retaining the crimson crystals and your contribution points to the ship. We’re waiting for approval from any of the captains. Unfortunately, all the captains are out on missions, so it might take a little ti. Don’t worry, once we get the approval, the contribution points will be imdiately credited to your account."
"Also, we’ll be heading to the next location to assist the team in clearing the nest. The transport ship will be here in ten minutes. Will you be joining us to support the team?"
Fang Heng shook his head and replied, "No, I have so materials to deliver."
"Alright, thanks again for your help."
Boyd didn’t think too much, and with his team, they waited for the transport ship. He watched as Fang Heng and his group of transport robots disappeared into the passage and out of sight.
Monts later, the transport ship arrived, and they boarded it to head to the next operation site.
Fang Heng climbed out of the passage again.
Half a minute later, dense magic arrays appeared around Fang Heng’s body.
The second wave of 5,000 Lickers jumped out of the magic array.
The Licker swarm imdiately condensed into cocoons and returned to their normal zombie forms, rushing toward the crimson crystal to begin manually digging it out.
The crimson crystals were important materials for modifying the Lickers’ ranged attack abilities.
They couldn’t let them go to waste.
He would dig them out first and see if he could rent a warehouse on the Federation ship to store them...
The transport ship was expected in half an hour.
He had to hurry.
Fang Heng thought for a mont and returned to the underground passage, controlling the Licker swarm to gather the materials and head toward the next C-level squad’s domain.
