Three days later.

Jake Islands.

A group of islands covered in snow all year round. Due to the extrely low temperatures, apart from a few wild animals, there were no human inhabitants.

But today was different.

A large number of ships had gathered and were docked at the edge of the ice.

On the thick ice, large groups of players gathered, forming teams of various sizes.

Among them, the Central Federation and the four regional Federations stood out the most.

Each had at least five hundred mbers, forming super large teams, which also included so well-equipped elite soldier units and rcenaries commissioned by the Federations.

In contrast, the player teams were much smaller, the largest only consisting of twenty or thirty people.

These players had gathered here through various rituals using the Key of Heaven Enlightennt and were not under the control of the Federations.

Fang Heng stood quietly among the crowd, concealing his aura.

Since all the major Federations were present for this mission, Fang Heng decided to co alone to avoid unnecessary trouble. He had also slightly altered his appearance to avoid being recognized at a glance.

Even if he encountered a special situation and needed assistance, he could easily find a few vampires who had also entered the Land of Enlightennt and issue orders.

But Fang Heng found it a bit strange.

Given the Federations’ usual style, they actually allowed player teams to participate in the treasure hunt mission within the Land of Enlightennt?

Sothing seed off.

Soon, midnight arrived.

The Keys of Heaven Enlightennt in the players’ hands began to emit a faint glow.

Tiny spots of light condensed and slowly gathered in the air above the ice, forming an imprint.

"Buzz...!"

The space rippled outward like waves, and shards of fragnted space condensed to form an oval-shaped spatial gate.

Fang Heng squinted slightly.

It was a special space passage construction ritual.

He felt like he had seen it sowhere before, but couldn’t recall the exact details.

The players began whispering among themselves.

A military officer from the Central Federation stepped out, looked around, and said in a deep voice, "Everyone, according to the Central Federation’s investigation, the treasure is inside the Land of Enlightennt. It might represent a powerful force, one that could determine the future of humanity."

"The Federation will not stop any team from exploring the secrets of the Land of Enlightennt, and we ask that your teams do not interfere with Federation operations. Thank you in advance."

"Good luck to you all."

The officer nodded to soone behind him. Starting with the Central Federation, those closest to the teleportation gate began to enter one by one.

Then ca the regional Federations, and finally the player teams.

Fang Heng blended into a group of players and quickly passed through the teleportation gate into the Land of Enlightennt.

...

The Land of Enlightennt.

A vast field of white, cold mist spread out before him. Thick icy walls surrounded him, and the ground beneath was also a solid layer of ice.

Fang Heng frowned slightly.

The cold energy here was more than twice as intense as outside.

Most of the players who made it here were not ordinary; they could endure it for now. Fang Heng, of course, was unaffected.

Looking around, it seed like he was inside a huge maze built from ice walls.

The maze’s corridors were wide enough for thirty people to walk side by side.

It looked like the teleportation passage had multiple exits, scattering the player teams.

Since the federal teams had many mbers, they could regroup into teams of dozens and were still counting their mbers.

In contrast, the small player squads had already found their companions and began heading deeper into the maze in twos and threes.

Small teams had better mobility.

If they got lucky and found the treasure before the Federations did, wouldn’t that be a jackpot?

Fang Heng remained still, scanning his surroundings, then released his perception and looked forward.

Hmm?

That faint aura...

No doubt, it was the Seed of Ouroboros!

The Land of Enlightennt contained the Seed of Ouroboros!

Fang Heng began to walk quickly in the direction indicated by the seed’s aura.

Before long, he left the main group of players and lost his sense of direction within the winding maze.

The icy rock walls were hard and had an effect that prevented space penetration, so he couldn’t pass through them directly.

With his current abilities, he might be able to smash through the ice walls, but that would consu a trendous amount of energy and could cause the entire maze to collapse.

Who knew if there were traps hidden inside? If the treasure collapsed along with the underground maze, it would be disastrous.

After considering, Fang Heng chose a cautious approach and continued searching in the direction indicated by the Seed of Ouroboros.

Hmm?

Suddenly, Fang Heng stopped and looked ahead at the straight corridor of the icy maze.

"What’s that..."

"Ka-ka-ka-ka-ka..."

From the ice ahead, humanoid ice crystal lifeforms began to gather and condense.

Ice-type creatures?

The ice crystal golems were massive, over two ters tall. Once fully ford, they started walking toward Fang Heng.

One of them approached and swung its fist fiercely at Fang Heng’s face with a whooshing sound.

"Hoo!"

Fang Heng also threw a punch!

"Boom!!"

His attack landed first, striking the golem’s right arm and shattering it.

Too weak.

At least for now, the difference in strength was clear.

Huh?

Fang Heng looked up.

The golem’s shattered right arm began rapidly regenerating under the influence of frost breath.

"Hmph!"

Fang Heng let out a cold snort, leaned forward, and threw another punch, completely shattering the ice crystal golem.

"Bang!!"

The golem exploded into fragnts that quickly rged into the icy ground.

At the sa ti, a faint blue aura rose from the shattered debris and surged into Fang Heng, absorbed into his sea of consciousness.

Huh?

Fang Heng closed his eyes and quickly sensed the energy.

It was ice-type elental energy!

Currently, his elental science skill was capped at high-tier maximum level.

This energy, once absorbed into his body, quietly settled in his sea of consciousness, remaining still.

Fang Heng could confirm that this elental energy could be absorbed and converted into experience for elental science.

It was just that since the skill was already at maximum level and hadn’t advanced, he couldn’t level it further.

Was this energy related to the treasure in the Land of Enlightennt?

Judging from the flow of energy, he could only obtain this elental reward by personally killing the golems.

Not bad.

His sea of consciousness was vast and could easily store a large amount of elental energy.

Might as well stockpile it.

Fang Heng thought it would be good to grind a wave of ice creatures and store so elental science skill energy. He continued walking in the direction of the Seed of Ouroboros.
