Granville thought for a mont, then looked toward the various captains projected on the communication screens and said, "Fellow allies, there's no need to worry. The spawns have authorized us to construct a high-tier prism attack array this ti. We only needed to enter the Land of Ice Soul, find an area not yet occupied by mutant worms, and secure it for a period of ti to ensure the prism attack array was completed. Then the spawn chanical units would transmit onto the battlefield through the prism device."

The spawns, after prior reconnaissance, had deliberately chosen an area not covered by creep for the transition.
Once the transition was complete, the ships expanded out in a defensive formation, extending their side decks. The shipboard cannons were deployed into firing position, ready to engage at any ti.
"Begin scanning procedures. Detected high-concentration Black Fog in the environnt. No Seed of Ouroboros reactions detected within five kiloters."
"Mm, expand the scan range."
Having accomplished the transition, Shadow Clan Captain Granville allowed himself to relax slightly.
Seed of Ouroboros mutant worms combined with Black Fog-just imagining it was terrifying.
The Shadow Clan captain did not dare to be careless. He turned to the Blue Lizard clansn who had just followed him into the control hall.
The Blue Lizard patriarch nodded lightly and said, "Captain, there is no need to worry. Just act according to plan. If we encounter danger, our Blue Lizard clan will naturally assist."
"Mm, good. With the Blue Lizard experts assisting, I can rest easy."

Each ship entered pre-combat status, with combat personnel taking positions
in the battle zones.
Granville stood in the main control room, looking out the window toward the
distance.
Soon, a spreading brown swarm appeared on the horizon!
The swarm did not move quickly, but advanced along with the spread of creep.
When the swarm entered weapon range, the ships' beam weapons locked onto
their targets and opened fire in unison.
"Whoosh! Whoosh whoosh whoosh!!!"
A dense storm of energy beams swept into the thick swarm of worms.
The beams exploded among the mutant worm swarm, blasting large sections of
it away.
Granville watched the battle outside coldly.
As the reports had said, the swarm had terrifying vitality and self-regeneration. Ordinary beam weapons could hardly deal lethal damage.
Even the energy beams specially designed to counter the Seed of Ouroboros could only increase damage-they could not stop the swarm's regeneration. As the Licker packs approached the ships' long-range attack range, the Lickers
quickly pressed themselves to the ground, driving their limbs deep into the creep for stability, and aid the biological cannons on their backs at the fleet.

"All tactical squads, prepare! Deploy and join the battle!" The equipped tactical squads on the warships grabbed their guns, leapt from the decks, and advanced rapidly toward the Licker groups.
