The power of the ripple...
The Seed of Ouroboros!
Fang Heng furrowed his brow.
What a terrifying aura. Even with such a distance between them, he could feel the other’s power ripple!
And the other had already locked onto him.
It was coming straight for him!
"Tch..."
Fang Heng curled his lips.
Just wouldn’t let him level up properly, huh?
After more than half a month, the backlash on his ntal strength had eased slightly, but only a small portion had recovered.
He was still far from fully healed.
But it was strange, the aura of the Seed of Ouroboros had been calm for a long ti. Why had it suddenly erupted now?
As Fang Heng pondered, Abe Akaya sent a ntal link, informing him that visitors had arrived.
"Bring them here."
Fang Heng murmured and stood, looking ahead.
The densely gathered vines gradually parted, revealing a passage.
Elder Ambrose of the Noel Clan and An Qian walked out from the back of the passage, one after the other.
"Fang Heng."
Fang Heng cupped his hands together. "Elder Ambrose, you’ve co."
Ambrose looked at Fang Heng, a hint of suspicion flashing in his eyes.
The first ti he saw Fang Heng, he noticed sothing unusual.
Sothing was off.
Could it be that he had broken through?
Was it real?
Elder Ambrose scrutinized Fang Heng from head to toe several tis, unable to resist asking, "Fang Heng, you’ve broken through?"
Fang Heng smiled calmly and cupped his fists in return. "Thank you, Elder, for all your help."
Ambrose stared at Fang Heng, speechless for a long mont.
Guidance? Answers?
Could it be that this kid was really a monster he had trained?
An Qian, standing behind the elder, heard their conversation and her eyes imdiately reflected a stunned expression.
Their breakthrough...
Could it be referring to God-level academics?
"Well, well."
Elder Ambrose spoke with genuine admiration, "I never expected soone so young to advance to God-level academics. At your age, I had only just stepped into Master level."
"Elder, you need not say that. I just had so fortunate encounters."
Ambrose waved his hand, thinking it was a pity.
Fang Heng was a vampire and deeply involved in the Black Fog Ga; otherwise, he would have spared no effort to protect Fang Heng and have him join the Noel Clan.
"All right, we won’t discuss this. We’ve co for an important matter to consult with you."
Fang Heng looked serious. "Does it have to do with the Seed of Ouroboros?"
"Yes. Recent reports from the front line say the Seven Realms Martial Capital joint team successfully destroyed the fleeing Seed of Ouroboros planets. However, after that, the Beetle King of the Seed of Ouroboros erged prematurely."
"The Beetle King’s power is terrifying. Its birth triggered massive explosions that obliterated most of the fleet. The Seven Realms Martial Capital joint forces suffered heavy casualties and had to retreat."
Ambrose’s tone grew heavier as he spoke, "Furthermore, it is now rapidly approaching the Seven Realms Martial Capital."
Fang Heng’s heart sank.
So powerful?
Previously, An Qian had ntioned that the spawns had paid a considerable price to gather the Seven Realms Martial Capital to pursue the Seed of Ouroboros. Among the pursuit team were even two God-level scholars.
The spawn teams also included many martial artists experinted on with Helium, their strength approaching half-step God-level, able to control domain powers.
And they all lost?
"However, it’s said that the Beetle King erged prematurely and forcibly used a special ability, suffering significant backlash itself."
"This is strange. The Beetle King destroyed the joint pursuit team but was heavily damaged. It should have retreated to recover fully before seeking revenge. Yet it ca so quickly... Perhaps the spawns have intelligence we do not know."
Ambrose shook his head, thinking further. "The entire Seven Realms Martial Capital is facing a major crisis. Various races have diated our conflict with the spawns again. After internal discussion, the Noel Clan believes the greater good is a priority; we must gather our strength to confront the Seed of Ouroboros."
"I understand." Fang Heng looked at Ambrose and asked lightly, "Has the Noel Clan made its decision?"
"Given the imminent threat, the Seven Realms Martial Capital is at risk, and the spawns have shown partial sincerity. The Noel Clan will temporarily set aside past grudges and fight together against the Beetle King of the Seed of Ouroboros."
"So our plan is terminated?"
"Correct. The Noel Clan will leave this place. As for your choices, we will not interfere. By tonight, all ore resources will be handed over."
Ambrose looked at Fang Heng. "After this is over, the spawns will surely move against you again. The Noel Clan will help you leave quickly, hide your whereabouts, and we can ensure no one can find you or your people..."
"Thank you, Elder. It’s not necessary."
Fang Heng lightly waved his hand, refusing Ambrose’s offer.
Escape?
That would be difficult.
Fang Heng had a strong premonition.
The Seed of Ouroboros was not heading toward the Seven Realms Martial Capital.
It was coming for him.
He roughly understood the reason.
Among the sa-origin Seed of Ouroboros, only one Beetle King could exist.
Submit or die!
Fang Heng rubbed his wrist, thinking silently.
There were two paths ahead: one was to hide, imrse himself in the Black Fog Ga to avoid detection, and use its power to withstand the Beetle King.
He could slowly build all skills to God-level before leaving the ga to face the mutant worms.
This was the cautious approach.
But the Black Fog Ga was just one force in the world. Could it resist the Beetle King’s corruption? And if the Beetle King couldn’t find him, would it attack human planets?
The other path...
Fight!
Fang Heng’s eyes glimred with battle intent.
According to the spawns, the Beetle King had just erged and forcibly used abilities, so it was not at its peak state and had suffered so backlash.
If he dragged the mutant worms into battle now, with the enemy unaware of him, he might leverage the combined forces of the Seven Realms Martial Capital to confront the Beetle King and weaken its power.
Perhaps he could get lucky.
If he could truly kill the Beetle King and devour its Seed of Ouroboros...
Fang Heng’s eyes glead with greed. He raised his head and said, "Thank you, Elder. The Noel Clan has helped us greatly. The vampires will have their own plan."
