"All right, your business is taken care of. Now it’s my turn."

Xius smiled.

The God Realm was unbearably boring. Finally, he had a chance to leave. Before his energy ran out, shouldn’t he enjoy himself properly in the Lower World?

"This ti I entered the lower realm on a mission. The God Realm sent to inspect the construction of temples across various star domains," Xius said, looking at the spawns’ consul beside him and nodding. "You will guide on this journey."

The consul bowed respectfully, "Yes, Sir Xius."

Although the events had been extrely tumultuous, the results were still within what the spawns could accept. The other races, however, did not look so pleased.

Long ago, under the initiative of the God Clan, the Seven Realms Martial Capital had been established, and the God Clan beca the entity to which the seven great forces of the Seven Realms Martial Capital pledged loyalty.

The instructions given by the God Clan to the Seven Realms Martial Capital were to find a way to establish temples of faith throughout the cosmic star domains, cultivating the power of belief in the gods.

But the materials needed to build temples were extrely precious. Initially, the Seven Realms Martial Capital had worked hard to construct them, but over ti, they realized that even if they built fewer temples, no punishnt would co. The various races gradually grew lazy.

After all, the higher-ups were distant, and the God Clan had not appeared for centuries.

Most races only t the minimum requirents of the God Clan, building just ten temples per star domain.

So temples were so ancient that few still participated in sacrifices or worship.

In fact, the races of the Seven Realms Martial Capital had already considered this before attempting to summon the God Clan’s descent.

They followed the usual plan: bla the Seed of Ouroboros.

They would claim that the Seed of Ouroboros had destroyed a large number of temples in battle.

Of course, appearances had to be maintained. Since the God Clan wanted to inspect personally, they could only rush and build a batch of temples quickly.

...

In the vast galaxy, a beating heart floated within a star domain.

A bone spike pierced through the constantly throbbing heart.

Blood Explosion had been a skill Fang Heng learned from a skill book in his early days.

But as his power had grown rapidly, the skill had long been outdated.

The main reason was that Blood Explosion consud blood essence.

For Fang Heng, normal injuries could heal easily, but replenishing blood essence required ti.

Although Blood Explosion dealt massive damage, careful calculation showed it was not worth the cost.

The zombie clone, however, inherited Blood Explosion, and its effectiveness depended on the strength of its blood and skill level.

Early on, it worked very well. Later, perhaps due to the clone’s own limitations, its blood was rely foul-slling fluid without any energy bonus, and the damage gradually lagged behind.

However, after Fang Heng achieved a perfect fusion of necromancy and blood effects, mastering a demigod-level domain, he gained a new understanding of the skill.

Directly detonating his blood essence could still achieve the effects of Blood Explosion, even greatly increasing its lethality.

Moreover, from previous battles, Fang Heng had learned a new technique.

By incorporating spatial science into Blood Explosion, he could use the skill’s instantaneous output to create a spatial rift.

Fang Heng had intended to perish alongside the Seed of Ouroboros, or at least prevent the spawns from gaining any advantage.

After all, he could be reborn.

Unexpectedly, their luck held. The spatial rift that swallowed them was not completely consud by uncontrollable turbulence. After hours of spatial tearing, it erged at another rift exit.

Although Fang Heng had not yet died, he retained the form of his last heart. The Beetle King of the Seed of Ouroboros retained the form of the bone spikes, forming a curved spike that tightly entangled the heart.

Both were locked in a desperate struggle, each fighting to the last mont.

Just now, Fang Heng received a ntal ssage from the Beetle King.

"Give up. I can feel your strength weakening. I am the true Beetle King. Submit to ."

"Humph."

Fang Heng snorted coldly. "You claim to be the Beetle King, yet you can’t even defeat . Why should I submit to you?"

"I have not reached my complete form. After repeated battles, my energy is greatly depleted. If you cooperate and return the Eye of God to , I can reach my peak. Even the God Clan would be within my reach..."

Fang Heng chuckled, thinking anyone could boast, and said, "You are not at full power, and neither am I. My ntal strength is in backlash; I haven’t exerted myself fully. My academic levels are far from perfect. When I max out all disciplines and raise my dinsional level to hundreds, the God Clan will be nothing. I’ll slaughter them all and enter the God Realm directly. You can be my assistant. How about that?"

The Beetle King was not as eloquent and fell silent for a mont.

"You cannot kill . As my strength gradually recovers, I will drain your power completely. Then you will die. Resistance is aningless."

"Is that so? Then let show you my strength."

At that mont, the floating heart began beating faster.

"You’re insane!"

Tantalus, the Beetle King, realized what was about to happen, growing agitated, "Self-detonating again will kill you, too."

"You will die, but I might not. What do you say? Dare to gamble with ?"

The Beetle King remained silent.

Fang Heng forced the heart to beat violently.

"You madman!"

Tantalus could not risk a desperate struggle with Fang Heng and tried to withdraw the bone spikes from the heart.

But the next mont, he realized his remaining spikes were firmly lodged in the heart.

"What are you trying to do?"

"Hand over your Seed of Ouroboros cocoon."

"Never!"

Fang Heng snorted coldly, a glint of determination in his eyes. "Then we die together!"

"You...!"

"Boom! Boom, boom, boom!!!"

The heart’s beating accelerated to its limit, then exploded in midair, shattering the bone spikes embedded within.

Dead?

Fang Heng felt his consciousness grow dim. He sensed his soul had left his body.

A faint black fog rose, enveloping his soul and forming a protective layer.

Huh?

The black fog’s power drew his soul slowly in a direction.

Apparently, the Netherworld Stone had taken effect.

Fang Heng’s consciousness grew ever fainter. He only thought to glance down one last ti at the Beetle King.
