Now reading: Chapter 3545 Tribunal of Sin from Global Game: AFK In The Zombie Apocalypse Game, a Game novel by Empire Black Knight.

Quinn led Fang Heng's squad forward along the pathway.

Those imprisoned in the cells were all various alien races.

When Quinn arrived, the entire prison block fell silent.

"Incantations have been left on them. If they refuse to obey, the ntal strength incantation can quiet them down."

As Quinn spoke, he looked at a prisoner in a nearby cell and activated his ntal strength.

"Ah!!!"

Dense dark golden patterns imdiately surfaced across the alien prisoner's body. He revealed an expression of extre pain, his fingernails digging deeply into his flesh, yet he clenched his teeth tightly, forcing himself not to make a sound.

Everyone here knew that Quinn hated noise.

If he cried out, he would only receive harsher punishnt.

Quinn was very satisfied with the prisoner's performance. He shifted his gaze away and continued walking forward.

"The relevant prayers for controlling prisoners can be consulted in the library of the rest area. The books cannot be taken out."

As he spoke, Quinn took out a booklet that looked quite new from his pocket and handed it to Ethan. "This is the work manual. It contains detailed job duties. If you don't know sothing, you can look it up there. But what's truly important is what I just told you."

"And be careful of these prisoners. On the surface they may look obedient, and may even flatter you in every possible way, but that's all a disguise to gain your trust. Don't believe what they say. Every single one of them is dangerous."

Fang Heng walked toward the back of the group when he suddenly noticed sothing. His brows lifted slightly as he looked toward a nearby cell.

A deathly aura.

It was a mber of the Dark Clan.

In Block No. 3, there happened to be a Dark Clan prisoner.

Perhaps he could learn so clues related to the Nether Emperor.

Quinn asked, "Have you all studied alchemy magic arrays?"

Everyone nodded.

The God Clan possessed extrely strong comprehension in almost all disciplines. Alchemy was mastered as a foundational discipline; the only difference lay in the level of proficiency.

"Mm. During patrols, pay special attention to whether any prisoners have died and whether there are signs of damage to the magic arrays."

After leading them around Block No. 3, Quinn returned to the entrance and nodded. "If after the internship you still wish to continue working in the Tribunal of Sin, alchemy is an essential skill. You may consider further study."

"That's about it. Here are the keys to the prison block."

Quinn handed the keys to Ethan and said, "During the training period, your range of activity is limited to the surface domain and underground Blocks 1 to 3. As for the lower areas, extrely dangerous prisoners are held there. You are not permitted to enter. Is that understood?"

"Yes, sir!"

Quinn nodded lightly. "Let's go. Next, I'll show you the rest area."

...

The rest area was set up independently from the prison blocks in the surface domain.

Upon returning to the surface, the air imdiately felt much fresher.

Quinn spent more than an hour leading them around the rest area.

"That's roughly it. Keep your room keys safe. If you encounter any problems, ask your colleagues. If there's any trouble, you can co to at any ti." Quinn shrugged again. "Of course, I hope you don't run into any trouble."

"Any other questions?"

The mbers of Ethan's squad gazed at one another.

The prison's daily missions seed easier than expected.

They only needed to complete three patrols per day and record them.

The prisoners assigned to their supervision were also those on the upper levels with relatively lower danger ratings.

It was obvious that they did not fully trust this group of 'interns.'

As long as they did not make mistakes, it would be fine.

If an alarm sounded, not only they but the entire prison block, including the person in charge, would receive notification and head to inspect the damaged magic array.

"Any other questions?"

Gu Er stepped forward half a step, looked at Quinn, and uttered in a deep voice, "Captain Quinn, I heard that the Tribunal of Sin has the best trial grounds, where one can engage in real combat with imprisoned criminals. Is that true?"

"Oh? You ca for that?"

Quinn looked at Gu Er with interest and said, "That's right. The Tribunal of Sin does have such a place. It was originally established by a certain elder to hone his own skills. Later, it gradually beca a tradition of the Tribunal of Sin."

Gu Er grew even more excited and asked, "Can we participate?"

"Hahahahaha."

Quinn burst into laughter.

Gu Er frowned. "Sir, what are you laughing at?"

"Nothing. I admire your courage. If you're interested, you can first spar with the prisoners in Block No. 3. When you feel you're ready, co find ."

Quinn patted Gu Er on the shoulder, turned, and left. "Alright, that's it for today. Patrols begin tomorrow. Dismissed."

Ethan's squad watched Quinn leave.

"Tch, looking down on , huh?"

"Crack, crack..."

Gu Er understood Quinn's aning and felt sowhat displeased. His urge for battle rose again, and his fists cracked loudly.

"Brothers, anyone want to go find a few prisoners to warm up?"

Everyone looked at each other, but no one spoke.

After the earlier trial, everyone was exhausted.

"Looks like you won't get your chance today." Ethan shrugged. "The manual states that entering the prison block requires at least a two-person team."

"I can go with him."

Fang Heng stepped forward. "I'm also a bit curious about the strength of the prison criminals."

Gu Er's eyes lit up, and he shot Fang Heng a grateful look.

"Fine. I'm really speechless with you two."

Ethan gazed at the two battle-hungry mbers of his team and felt sowhat helpless. He nodded. "Everyone's tired today. Let's rest early. You two don't drag it out too long."

"It's fine, boss. I know what I'm doing."

Gu Er chuckled. "Zane, let's go. Ti to fight."

...

Gu Er packed two portions of at and entered Block No. 3 with Fang Heng.

Slling the aroma of at, the prisoners in the passage stuck their heads out and sized up the two of them.

In prison, the inmates relied daily on the energy released by the magic arrays to sustain life. Food was an enormous temptation to them.

The prisoners were not stupid. They already knew Fang Heng and Gu Er were newly arrived guards and were curious about their intentions.

Gu Er raised the two portions of at high. "Listen up! Whoever's good at fighting, dare to co out and exchange a few moves with ? If you satisfy , these will be yours."

Upon hearing this, the entire prison block buzzed noisily.

Fang Heng's gaze shifted toward the imprisoned Dark Clan mber inside his cell.

The Dark Clan prisoner had no intention of challenging and remained curled up in the corner of the cell.

"Hey! New guy! If I win, I really get at?"

A burly alien with bronze-colored skin stared at Gu Er outside the cell, his eyes filled with longing.

"Heh. Do I need to lie to you?"

"I'll do it! I'll do it!"

The entire prison block imdiately boiled over as prisoners jostled to volunteer.

"You. You're up!"
