Sores stopped near the mountaintop. About ten ters ahead, a blue elental barrier had been set up.
"We've reached the limit. If we go any further, the God Clan will intercept us."

Fang Heng responded. The God's Eye in his right eye erged, and he once again examined the giant alchemy magic array at the summit from a distance.
Dense alchemy patterns rapidly ford within Fang Heng's mind.

Fang Heng looked at Rodney again. "You don't know either?"
"I'm not sure." Rodney frowned. "I haven't been in charge of the Death Vortex for long. This place was built by the God Clan. It was already completed when we arrived. Fang Heng, did you discover sothing?"
"There's a cavern beneath the mountain range, and mbers of the God Clan are guarding it," Fang Heng said calmly. "Based on my judgnt, the magic array connects to below."
Rodney and Sores quickly exchanged a glance.
After so many years, they had never known there was another domain beneath the mountain.
Sores could not figure out Fang Heng's identity, but he felt that Fang Heng was no ordinary person. He asked, "Was it set up by the God Clan to seal the spread of the undead aura?"
Fang Heng shook his head. "That's possible."
Sores asked, "Can you find the entrance to the grotto below?"
"Yes, but there are mbers of the God Clan guarding it. It probably won't be easy to get in." Fang Heng pondered for a mont, then shook his head. "Forget it. Let's not alert them."
This trip had already granted him advancent in sacred study.

The expressions of the God Clan watchn responsible for maintaining the inner barrier changed slightly.

The God Clan scattered and began dealing with the soul bodies escaping from the Death Vortex.
At this mont, while the God Clan's attention was focused on the upper levels, Fang Heng swiftly transford into the appearance of a mber of the God Clan and explored toward the lower part of the mountain.
