"I understand. I'll be careful."
Fang Heng affird lightly.
Tiger Venerable uttered to an elder in blue robes standing nearby, "Take him to the Void Realm."
"Yes."
The elder in blue nodded to Fang Heng and said, "Fang Heng, the Void Realm is a half-ruined world, filled with spatial turbulence. Be very careful. If you're ready, follow ."
"Thank you."
Fang Heng cupped his fist toward Tiger Venerable and said, "Farewell."
Tiger Venerable watched the two of them leave the hall, then looked at Versailles and asked, "Versailles, what is it you wish to say?"
Versailles paused for a mont, then couldn't help but speak, "Sir Tiger Venerable, I heard that the Dinsional Emperor recently traveled to the Void Realm."
"Mm, noted."
Tiger Venerable's tone remained calm, but his heart sank.
This was not good.
The Dinsional Emperor had always been seeking ways to surpass the limits of Origin Power, so he often went to the Void Realm.
In fact, if it weren't for the Dinsional Emperor, the Void Realm would have long since completely collapsed.
There was no choice now. He could only hope that Fang Heng would have better luck.
...
The Void Realm.
The galaxy.
Streams of brilliant light streaked across.
Fang Heng stepped out of the spatial rift passage, standing in the vast galaxy. He quickly scanned his surroundings, frowning.
The dim galaxy carried a faint sense of death.
Massive black rifts scattered chaotically throughout the galactic space.
The entire Void Realm was on the verge of collapse.
It seed the Void Clan's assessnt had been correct: with the Source of the Void completely polluted, the Void Realm itself could no longer be maintained.
Fang Heng sighed quietly in his heart.
The Void Clan's wish to return to their holand would likely remain unfulfilled.
For them, leaving the Void Realm might have been a blessing; the remaining Void Clan had already been wiped out.
He wondered what the two fleeing Evil Gods would think upon arriving at this desolate place.
Regardless, he needed to locate the Origin Orb first.
The Evil Gods were likely heading toward the Source of the Void.
Fang Heng attempted to summon the Arrow of Ti that Elder Brutus had given him.
The arrow hovered in midair, rotated twice, and quickly aligned, pointing toward a direction in the galaxy.
Fang Heng looked up, observing the galaxy ahead, crisscrossed with massive spatial rifts. He shook his head and began flying rapidly toward the direction the arrow indicated.
Because the fractured Void Realm was filled with giant spatial rifts, flying here required intense focus to avoid them, making progress extrely slow.
Fang Heng frowned, a sense of foreboding rising in his heart.
The Void Realm was far harsher than the Endless Domain. Not a single island had been seen along the way. Could it be that by the ti he arrived, the Source of the Void had already turned to ashes?
After thinking for a mont, Fang Heng summoned the Bone Dragon, letting it follow the Arrow of Ti to the Source of the Void while he closed his eyes and read through the Void Clan texts recorded in his sea of consciousness.
...
Three days passed in an instant.
The Bone Dragon still carried Fang Heng, flying at high speed through the galaxy.
During this ti, Fang Heng had encountered three islands of varying size.
Each of the three islands was entirely enveloped by a massive barrier.
Fang Heng landed on the islands to inspect them. The barriers were artificially created, a high-level spatial shield that could effectively protect the islands from damage caused by the rifts.
The external barriers did not provide ordinary defensive functions.
Thanks to the barriers, the three islands had not been destroyed by the spatial rifts.
Fang Heng carefully examined the islands' environnts. Besides so ruins left by the ancient Void Clan, he also found a sacred pillar containing Origin Power.
He speculated that these pillars, like the Spirit Temples of the spiritual world, the altars of hell, and the temples of the Netherworld, could once be bound through ntal strength.
Unfortunately, now they had completely lost their power. Only a faint reaction of Origin Power kept the pillars standing, making it impossible to bind ntal strength to the sea of consciousness.
Fang Heng grew curious about who had set up the spatial barriers around the islands.
At first, he thought the Void Clan had done it before their extinction, but later realized it didn't seem so.
Maintaining a spatial barrier required energy, and recharging it every ten thousand years was necessary.
It was clear that soone had visited these islands thousands of years ago and perford maintenance and recharging on the magical array barriers.
Could there still be survivors of the Void Clan?
As Fang Heng pondered, he suddenly lifted his gaze and spotted the shadow of a large floating island erging in the galaxy.
The floating island was vast, its exterior surrounded by an extrely thick barrier.
The Arrow of Ti pointed firmly toward this island.
He had found it.
Fang Heng stood on the Bone Dragon's back, observing the island from a distance, commanding the Bone Dragon to approach slowly while releasing his perception.
Strange.
Why could he not sense the power of the Origin Orb?
The Evil Gods had arrived a week earlier. In theory, they could have used the Void Abomination's mory to locate the Source of the Void.
Had sothing unexpected happened?
Or had they already been here and then left?
Fang Heng's sense of foreboding grew stronger. He leapt from the Bone Dragon's back, passed through the island's outer spatial barrier, and swept rapidly toward the island.
The island was vast, its surface covered in greenery.
As soon as Fang Heng reached a high altitude above the island, he sensed a faint flow of Origin Power.
He also detected the presence of life.
Strange. In this environnt, the Void Clan should not have been wiped out.
Fang Heng's curiosity deepened as he sped across the island, following the guidance of the Arrow of Ti toward the Source of the Void.
Soon, he gradually reached the center of the island and saw the shadow of a large ruined city.
A massive circular city.
From above, the city appeared completely ruined, with no sign of inhabitants. Most streets and buildings were overgrown with tangled weeds and plants.
It had been long abandoned.
Entering the city, he saw a towering palace at its center.
The exterior of the palace was covered in climbing vines, and twelve towering Void Sacred Pillars surrounded it.
The Void Sacred Pillars' power could no longer be maintained and appeared sowhat voided.
"The Holy Capital... the temple..."
Fang Heng muttered to himself.
Over the past two days, he had read nurous Void Clan texts.
The Holy Capital had once been the central city where the Void Clan gathered. The Source of the Void had been controlled by the Void Clan royal family, located within the central temple of the city, carefully guarded by the Elders Council.
Ti had passed, and now the Holy Capital lay in complete ruin.
Following the Arrow of Ti, Fang Heng reached the palace and looked around.
There were signs of soone entering!
The temple doors were ajar, with many footprints in front, clearly showing they had been opened not long ago.
