This empire is one of the three oldest empires of the Human Race, as well as the mortal kingdom of faith under the God of Dawn and Hope, one of the human Deities.
"The Power of Space? A Black Dragon?"
"Angelina, you should know the consequences of deceiving a Saint, even if you are my brother’s descendant."
After hearing everything the Dragon Noble Angelina had seen and heard, Silver Dragon Camilla’s expression first froze, then filled with suspicion.
She looked down at the Female Warrior before her, her terrifying aura seemingly freezing the very Space around them.
Facing this Silver Dragon, who was rely of a Sub-dragon Species Bloodline, Angelina’s expression remained unchanged. Instead, she continued calmly,
"Lady Camilla, Edie also witnessed this with her own eyes. You may not believe , but I think you must believe Edie, no?"
Upon hearing this, Silver Dragon Camilla slowly rose to her feet, her body, standing nearly two hundred ters tall, looming over the tiny human below.
The Saint Tier Silver Dragon Camilla, like the Earth Dragon Amos, was one of the most ancient Sub-dragons.
Although her age did not match that of Amos, Silver Dragon Camilla was far luckier.
After all, she had at least received the recognition of a Deity and had the good fortune to ascend to the Saint Tier.
Unfortunately, like Red Dragon Crimson, in this current era devoid of Divine Power’s favor, her Lifespan as a Saint Tier was only about ten thousand years.
In fact, because she had beco a Saint Tier, her Lifespan actually suffered a kind of backlash.
As things stood, this Silver Dragon was actually all bark and no bite.
But a Saint Tier was a Saint Tier. Her standing height was already close to two hundred ters. Compared to Crimson’s slender form, this Silver Dragon’s Body Type was very similar to a Pure-blooded Silver Dragon’s—incredibly sturdy, with a total body length of over eight hundred ters.
In terms of Body Type, her physique far surpassed that of Amos and Crimson.
But, being a Saint Tier, this was understandable.
The mont the Silver Dragon stood, she was like a mountain of silver, startling many mbers of the Lambert Family who were present in the fief.
However, no matter what the Silver Dragon did, unless they were summoned, these humans of the Lambert Family dared not spy or approach rashly.
At that mont, Silver Dragon Camilla looked down upon Angelina.
"Edie, since you’re back, co here! What? Are you afraid of your own mother?"
Silver Dragon Camilla’s voice echoed all around.
The next mont, the Little Silver Dragon, just over one hundred and twenty ters long, erged from a nearby palace in response.
Then, with a fearful expression, she quickly made her way toward Camilla.
Silver Dragon Edie landed before her mother, Camilla, and looked up at the Silver Giant Dragon, her neck shrinking back timidly as she spoke in a low voice at once.
"Mother."
Camilla looked at her daughter, Edie, with an indifferent expression.
There was absolutely no warmth between mother and child; they were like strangers, or perhaps a superior and her subordinate.
Camilla looked down at the Little Silver Dragon Edie.
She said casually, "You don’t act like a mber of the Dragon Race at all! So timid and fearful—you take after that disgusting father of yours!"
"But then again, it’s just like you. After all, you were never worthy of the Dragon Race’s status to begin with!"
Hearing her mother’s words, Silver Dragon Edie desperately wanted to retort.
But faced with Camilla’s overwhelming presence, she instantly lowered her head, the glint of tears welling up in her eyes.
Seeing Silver Dragon Edie’s childish display, Silver Dragon Camilla felt no remorse. Instead, her disgust only seed to grow.
Then, she asked directly,
"I heard you and Angelina encountered a mber of the Pure-blooded Dragon Clan on your trip. Speak. I want the truth! Tell everything you know!"
Silver Dragon Edie bravely held back her tears, and when she looked up, a trace of stubbornness had appeared in her eyes.
She then recounted what had happened on the Demon Beast battlefield in the Western Realm.
Listening to Edie’s account, which was nearly identical to Angelina’s, Silver Dragon Camilla’s entire dragon body began to tremble faintly without her realizing it.
However, she did her best to hide her inner excitent.
Adopting a doubtful tone, she muttered to herself,
’Space... a Black Dragon... The two could not possibly be related.’
’However, if it truly is the Power of Space, then external appearances are indeed aningless.’
’But the Dragon Race has been gone for so long. Even if they returned, it shouldn’t be just a single mber of the Pure-blooded Dragon Clan. There must be a hidden story here.’
Angelina heard Silver Dragon Camilla’s muttering. Her cool eyes flickered, and she interjected,
"There is definitely a hidden story. Of that, there is no doubt."
"Besides, to instantly kill two Tier Nine Magical Beasts with Space Power alone... none of the existing spatial artifacts could achieve such a feat."
Silver Dragon Camilla looked down at Angelina again, giving a rare nod of approval.
"During the Ancient Era, the Void Magic Crystals were all but mined to extinction by the various races."
"The spatial artifacts that have survived to this age are rare enough as it is. One that could instantly kill two Tier Nine Magical Beasts is virtually impossible."
"Furthermore, the Power of Space is far too special. Forget the Dragon Race; not even the Deities of the various races can touch that Power."
"Therefore, for sothing like this to happen, there are only a few reasonable explanations."
At this point, Silver Dragon Camilla suddenly fell silent, a look of worry and panic appearing in her eyes.
"First, a pure-blooded dragon egg remained dormant until now, hatching in the current era and mastering the Power of Space. If that’s the case, it would indirectly suggest that the situation for the vanished Dragon Race is likely dire. But this possibility is extrely low. After all, the probability of a dragon egg being lost and left behind is just too low. From the ti the Dragon Race vanished to the present day, nothing like this has ever happened."
