Hearing the being of Powerful Divine Power, Matty, order all the deities to withdraw from this world, the Giant Demon Gods were genuinely stunned.
"We’re just retreating like this?"
"We’ve invested so much in this world. We’ve even lost many of the Empire Gods in our bid to completely occupy it, and now we’re just giving it up so easily?"
one of the Giant Demon Deities said, his expression extrely grim.
"What else can we do besides give up? We can’t just stay here and let this civilization’s Main God wipe us all out in one fell swoop, can we?"
"They’ve taken advantage of our Empire. Good, very good. To be able to silently erode so many of the rules... I seriously suspect that this civilization on the other side was probably targeting us from the very beginning of our conquest of this world."
"Otherwise, none of this makes sense. The speed at which the rules were eroded is just too fast."
Another one of the Giant Demon Deities spoke up, offering their speculation on the matter.
"That speculation isn’t impossible. It could be that when the Empire targeted this world, the other side just so happened to be targeting it as well."
"The Empire didn’t discover them and made the first move, while those guys just waited in the shadows for the right opportunity."
"And look, now they’ve truly succeeded, and without losing a single soldier."
The Giant Demon Gods all spoke at once, each one exceptionally furious.
But at this mont, Divine Matty of the Divine Academy suddenly sighed.
"Alright. Whatever the reason, the Empire has run into a tough opponent this ti."
