"I’m not kidding. If the Magic Power Crystals aren’t pure enough, the tower will explode!"

When the Giant Demon Vasily heard what the human Mage said, he imdiately sneered.
"So you know, yet you’re still not hurrying? What’s wrong with earning Empire contribution points? Are you humans any different?"
"I recall one of you humans saying that during this grand construction project, those who perform well can earn a title of Nobility. What’s the matter, future Lord? Have you decided you don’t want to beco a noble after all?"
The Giant Demon and the human locked eyes, falling silent for a long mont.
In the end, both of them softened their stance.
After all, the Giant Demon aid team and the Oakland Transcendents assigned to coordinate with them each had their own objectives.
